What Is Life All About? (Conversations with the Seer)

(Formerly in Israel, if a man went to inquire of God, he would say, “Come, let us go to the seer,” because the prophet of today used to be called a Seer.”  I Samuel 9: 9)

One time I asked the Seer, “What is life all about?  What’s really going on?  Why are we here?”

And then the Seer answered in a sweeping monologue.

First of all, there is a Creator, a Supreme Being with a plan and purpose.  Modern man will just have to get over it and accept that there is Someone higher in the food chain.  Just look around.  Things that are alive come from living things.  If anything ever lived, it owes its existence to something else that was living–of its own kind.  Every living thing reproduces itself.  Since every living thing gets its life from another living being, then an Initial living being, a Supreme Being, had to have given life to all the living.

It is only logical.  Two pieces of granite cannot reproduce.  Only the living things of creation are reproducing, and their pro-creating drive has been ignited by the Creator, the Life Giver.

But the kicker, though, is that the Creator has put in motion all this reproduction as a type or metaphor of what He is doing with Himself.  The Creator’s plan and purpose is written into the quintessential  action of every living thing–procreation.  His plan and purpose is written into nature, and it is just waiting there to be deciphered.

So what does the secret writing of both nature and the scriptures reveal as to what God is saying?  Answer:  Hey, creation, I’m reproducing Myself, too!  You didn’t think I was going to let you have all the fun of raising a family, did you?  I have a family, too.

And this is how I am going to do it.  My essence is Love.  And I desire to magnify and reproduce Love.  So, in order to reproduce the real Spirit of Love, which is Me, I will create a special being that can contain Me.

I’ll create this special creature, the human being, male and female.  And I will place within them both a desire to procreate.  I will make them capable of loving with a heart that longs for love.  And their lives will be like a play, lived out on the stage of this earth.

But this play will seem like a tragedy in the first few acts, for the human beings will have tragic flaws.   As my crowning creation, humans will be extremely complex characters.  In their inner being, they will want to do good, but their innate selfishness will thwart their intents to do that good and right thing.

Some humans will eventually come to their wit’s end.  They will do craven acts of unkindness, driven by the first nature I have given them.  Their foolish and selfish heart will drive them to cheat on their spouses, steal from their fellow humans, and tell falsehoods to further their own selfish desires.  And other sins they will do.

But some will feel horrible about their actions.  Their consciences will torture them.  They will long to do good, despite succumbing to the temptations of the old nature.  It is from these who feel the need to repent that I will choose to reproduce Myself in.  They will know that they have done wrong and will search for a place of repentance and redemption as desperately as a lost man in the desert seeks water.

And they will find forgiveness of all their past evil deeds and thoughts.  Then I will give them of My Spirit, which is their new seed beginning in the garden of their hearts.  And through this new spirit within, they will blossom in love.  And this love will be shed abroad, by them forgiving their fellow human beings–especially those who are still using them for their own selfish desires.

They will learn to bless those who hurt them and persecute them.  They will love their enemies and do good to all unenlightened human beings.  They will forgive everyone in their old Adamic past, and they will reach out and love any and all.  And they will love Me who gave them a new chance–an opportunity to become one of My children, one of My princes or princesses.

And they will walk on this earth, shining forth this spiritual light of My own reproductive perfectness.  For I will multiply Love, which is my nature, through their realization of the great deliverance I have brought them through.  They will be fountains of forgiveness, shedding forth the refreshing water of life to all so called.

And in due time, I will change these redeemed ones into my immortal offspring.  For they will be those human beings who have believed My word.  In the face of all the gainsayers, they will have persevered despite the doubts of those who persisted in pernicious ways.

And then I said, “So this is what the Bible is all about.”

“Exactly.  It is not about sanctimonious ceremonies in “castles midst the poverty” once or twice a week.  It is about Life, an abundant Life, a life that will last forever.  It is all about God sharing Himself with His creation.  And this Life is the play foreseen and written by God and revealed to a few.  It is a real play produced and directed by God.  He wrote it eons ago, and we as the principal players in this drama should submit to the Director.  The sooner we do, the sooner we will be a part of the Greatest Hit of the Ages.”     Kenneth Wayne Hancock

The Great Tribulation Period Is “The Day of the LORD”

Many Christians are longing for the Day of the LORD to  come, but few, it seems, know exactly what that day entails.

Many long for it to come thinking that the “rapture” will take them out of the end time troubles to come, seeing the day of the LORD as an escape hatch for God’s children.  But the rapture theory is just that–a theory, an erroneous imagination that is disproved upon closer inspection and study of the word of God [for more on this, see https://immortalityroad.wordpress.com/?s=parachute ].

Others see “the day of the LORD” as a metaphor for “going to heaven, or going to be with Christ.

But few realize what they are wishing on themselves and this world. Why?  Because of the utter destruction that the  Day of the LORD will bring on this earth.  It is a time of God’s wrath, not mercy.  It is not an apple pie in the sky event.  It is a time of utter calamity and devastation.

Many prophets spoke of this day of the LORD.  It is a day of vengeance taken by God on the evil Satanic  system and those who have given their hearts to it.  It is when He takes revenge, not us.  Remember when we were taught from the Bible not to hold grudges and be vengeful?  “Vengeance is mine, saith the LORD, I will repay.”

And so shall it be during the wrap up of this present age. God will be dealing directly with wickedness, as only He can.  His body, His church will not be taking vengeance on anyone.  Christ in His first advent was the Lamb; He’ll be a devouring Lion in His second.  The “day of the LORD” is not a gloriously bright sunshiny day.  It is a time of gloom and despair and darkness, much like the day the death angel passed through Egypt.  It will be a day of mourning as that day during the original Passover–a day of wailing and crying aloud in the streets, a day of heart-rending loss of loved ones and cherished belongings.

So, no.  This day is not something to wish for.  Although it has to come on the earth before Christ establishes His kingdom, we would not wish this misery on anyone.

Spoken about by many prophets

We are talking about one of the most important events in the history of the world.  It is the end of an age;  it is a cosmic event of universal proportions.  Most of the prophets spoke of this event–this day of the LORD.  Think about it.  What greater prophecy could they have uttered and written down for us than the end of the evil empire of Satan and his human cohorts?

The prophet Daniel and the “Stone Kingdom”

It is what the prophet Daniel was shown in so many passages.  “In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed…” (Dan. 2: 44).  Christ’s Kingdom is coming to earth, but before it makes its full arrival, the smashing of Nebuchadnezzar’s image with the stone kingdom not cut out by man’s hands must first take place.  “The Day of the LORD” is that time in history when man’s world system is coming down!  I’m not going to bring it down; my Christian brethren are not going to smash it; God is, I believe, with a literal “stone” [read “heavenly body”] from  heaven.  Call it a large meteorite, a comet, an asteroid, a hailstone, a star–the name is immaterial what man calls it.  The point is that there are innumerable examples in the Bible citing heavenly bodies falling into earth [that is another topic which space does not permit here].

So many prophets speak of this dark day for the inhabitants of the earth and the lovers of this world.

The prophet Zephaniah’s vision of the ‘day of the LORD’

For example, the entire book of Zephaniah is about this very “day of the LORD.”  The LORD [Yahweh in the Hebrew] is railing and warning through Zephaniah about how He “will utterly consume all things from off the land” (1: 2).  Those “things” include fowls, fishes, stumbling blocks (idols) with the wicked, and finally, man (v. 3).  Then He tells which men: those worshipping other gods.  He says, “The day of Yahweh is at hand” (v. 7).

Who exactly are these people who are about to be destroyed by God?  They are people who actually “swear by the LORD.”  They invoke His name, and yet, they  “have not sought…nor inquired for Him” (1: 5-6).  Ironically, these are professing Christians.

Consequently, Yahweh at this time “has prepared a sacrifice.”  2,000 years ago, it was the Lamb of God sacrificed through God’s great grace and mercy.  This time the tables are turned.  The evil doers this time will be sacrificed.  This will be through “acts of God,” not his elect. For He “will punish the princes [those in power] and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel” [not dressed in white, the symbolic clothing of the righteous] (1: 7-8).

Zephanaiah’s description of the day the world system collapses

“The great day of the LORD is near…The mighty man shall cry there bitterly.      That day is  day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day clouds and thick darkness..and I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung” (1: 14-17).

This is the time that God will execute wrath upon the world.  Compare this passage with Joel 2 and Revelation 16 when the “vials of wrath” are poured out on the earth.  Same time in history.  Same day of the LORD.  Kenneth Wayne Hancock    [To be continued]

What Prevents Christian Growth–The Deceitfulness of Sin

As the sons and daughters of God, we are called to do one thing– “to  fulfill the word of God” (Col. 1: 25).  That is our destiny and what we are to do.

God has spoken from the beginning His word about what will transpire on this earth.  And it is a mystery to unregenerate natural man.  It is also a mystery to babes in Christ whose senses have not been exercised “to discern both good and evil” (Heb. 5: 14).  What God has spoken and written down for His earthly creation is a “mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations,” but now it is being made known to His elect, the ones He has chosen for the end time happenings (Col. 1: 26).

It is then to His elect that He is revealing this mystery, which is “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (v. 27).  To get Christ fully formed in His elect–to present every man perfect in Christ Jesus/Yahshua”–that is the work of His called out ones.  That is the “word of God” that we are “to fulfill.”

What Hinders the Spiritual Growth to Get to “Christ in You, the Hope of Glory”?

What hinders the new Christian’s growth?  In a word–sin.  For they are taught by their pastors, preachers and priests that they will never stop sinning. But that is a lie. The apostle Paul urges new Christians to “be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive” (Eph. 4: 14).  The way of growing from a spiritual child to a spiritual adult is not be deceived any longer by cunning and crafty men who teach false doctrines.

Paul already has said in this same chapter that God has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers “for the perfecting of the saints”!  Perfection of Christians sounds like a stupendous growth in God.  You mean it is possible?  I mean, to grow up and be just like Christ?  Paul believes so.  In fact, he says that this perfecting through the teaching of the truth will continue “till we all come…unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ!”! (4: 11-13)  And we know that this perfection cannot be attained if one is still sinning.

Paul spends most of the rest of the book of Ephesians urging new followers to put away sin out of their lives and “put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness” (4: 24).  No more lying, selfish anger, no more stealing, filthy talk, and malice (4: 25-31).  In other words–No more sinning.  “For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.  Let no man deceive you with vain words” (5: 5-6).  How can a man deceive the new Christian with vain words? By

telling him that he can do all these things and still have an “inheritance in the kingdom  of Christ and of God.” Or to put it another way: You can be a Christian in good standing and still sin.

This Is a Hard Saying–Who Can Hear It?

Many reading this will stop and say that I’ve gone too far.  That’s fine.  “They that have ears to hear, let them hear.”  This message is for the few–like I stated in the previous post last time.  But this is crucial for those wanting to grow all the way in this thing.  It is to you I am writing anyway.  All others with God’s help will be what they are meant to be.  My job is to teach the truth to the elect so that they can grow.  And He has shown me that this concept is what will hinder the elect from growing.  This is crucial.  Bear with me, and let me explain more fully.

Faith (Belief) Is the Key

Now this growth process inside of a believer is an invisible spiritual happening.  It takes belief without seeing first.  Faith is believing, having not seen the evidence as yet (Heb. 11: 1).  It is believing what God said, not what some man said He said.  And this goes for the sin question, too.  It is all about believing His word as to how to get rid of sin (and sinning) in our lives.

Sin is deceitful.  It is born in deception and it breeds deception.  It was born of a lie and it spawns more lies.  And its most powerful lie tells new Christians that they can’t escape its clutches.  Organized religions keep people in the prison of sin through the lie that they can’t live without sinning–that you are a sinner and will die a sinner.  Ironically enough, some preachers pridefully preach this every Sunday!  They say that you will always be held captive by sin–that you cannot escape its bondage!  In other words, they tell the people that God is not strong enough to break sin’s hold on you.  But be not dismayed; God will accept you even though it is impossible to stop sinning against Him, if you just accept Christ.

But wait a minute!  I thought “with God all things are possible” (Mark 10: 27).  And, “With God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1: 37).  And, “All things are possible to him that believes” (Mark 9: 23).  I mean, even the LORD, Yahweh Himself, answered Sarah’s incredulity about having a baby with this question, “Is any thing too hard for the LORD/YHWH?” (Gen. 18: 14).

And so He is asking every one of us: Which is easier for Me to do?  Grant Sarah a child in her old age, despite the “deadness of her womb,” or grant unto you a new heart that does not sin against Me?  Which is the “easier miracle” for Him to perform?  To God it is all the same.  If it is in His will, He makes it happen.

The preachers say that you are in bondage to sin; you can’t escape.  But God says “he that is dead is freed from sin” (Rom. 6: 7).  The preachers say, “I sin every day.”  But God says, “He that is born of God does not commit sin, for His seed remains in him and he cannot sin because He is born of God” (I John 3: 9).  If we are not saved from sin, then what have we been saved from?

You won’t hear the message contained in Romans 6.  “Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?”  Shall we go on sinning, breaking the Ten Commandments, so that His grace can be exercised to its fullest extant?  Answer:  “God forbid.  How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein” (Romans 6: 1-2).  Since the true salvation experience begins at the cross, baptized into His death, how can we continue to sin when sin has died inside of us (6: 3-11)?

Of course, very, very few will be preaching on this come next Sunday morning [or Saturday, for that matter].  Even if they know about this message, very few understand it, and fewer yet believe it, so they stay away from Romans 6 like the plague.

But it is this very message of the death of our old sinful self that opens the door.  What door?  The door to the mystery of “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”  The door to the secret of Christian growth.  The door to the overcoming of sin in our lives  and growing up to be like Him.

This “hope of glory” is not just a ticket to heaven, which is what the little babe in Christ wants from the Father.  No.  This “hope of glory” is our hope that Christ would be fully formed in us during these latter days–that the “greater works” that He promised His followers would do–that would be fulfilled in and through us!  That we could actually walk like the early apostles and the prophets of old!

That we could be the “called according to His purpose.”  That we could actually be those He knew before we were ever born, those who He gave a destiny before we were  born “to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”  And so He pre-destined us, called us, justified us, and soon, oh, so very soon He will glorify us! (Romans 8: 28-31).

And there is nobody that can separate us from Christ’s love for us.  And there is nobody who will succeed in stripping away our glorious growth into His manifested sons through lies and deception.

But this vision of full spiritual Christian growth hinges on getting past the deceitfulness of sin.  “The counsels of the wicked are deceit” (Prov. 12: 5).  Or, in other words, The words of the sinner are deception.

Their unbelief in God’s power to deliver keeps people in bondage to sin and sinning.  This is where the deception lies.  A Christian cannot grow when they believe that they cannot keep from sinning with God’s help.  This is the key that will unlock the door to Spiritual growth.

Through Christ we receive a new heart; the old heart is passed away once and for all.  Man says that it is impossible to be rid of sin in your life.  But God says, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke 18: 27).  Christ’s own words.  Hallelu Yah!

“Ye are gods,” said Christ–Concerning the Elohim and the Manifestation of the Sons of God

After performing many mighty miracles among the people, Christ was standing in the temple in Solomon’s porch.  The doubters began to surround Him and said, “How long are you going to keep us in suspense.  If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

Then He said to them, “I have already told you that I am He by the miracles that I have done in My Father’s name.  They speak and bear witness of Me.  But you don’t believe that the Father lives within Me and that it is He that does the miracles.  You don’t believe because you are not of My sheep.  You are of another herd and cannot hear my words.  As I told you before [John 8: 42-44], when I spoke to you plainly: You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do…there is no truth in your father, the one you are following…for he is a liar and the father of all lies.  Your father is a liar, and you are born of lies and are liars yourselves.”

Christ continued.  “No, you are not of my flock, for they hear my voice and believe and follow me.  And they will never perish, for they have eternal life.  The Father has given them to Me.  And no one can take them from Me, for I and My Father are one.”

“Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.”

Seeing their anger and the murder in their hearts, Christ said, “I have showed you many miracles from the Father.  Which miracle are you stoning me for?”

“We are not stoning you for a miracle that you have performed, but for blasphemy because you are a man, and you are making yourself out to be God.”

And it was at this juncture that Christ dropped a bombshell on them, saying, Wait a minute.  Is it not written in your law, the law that you take so much pride in, where I said, ‘You are gods.’  The Father called them gods.  The very ones to whom He was sending His word back in the days of the patriarchs and prophets–those He called gods.  The very ones who needed a Savior, who needed the law and the testimony, who needed help from their Creator to get right–those He called gods!  And now you are going to tell the one who the Father has sanctified and made holy and sent into the world–you are going to tell Him that He blasphemes because I said that I am the Son of God?

But there was no reasoning with them.  They “sought again to take Him, but He escaped out of their hand” [John 10: 22-39].

Christ was too much for them.  They could not understand Him, for “had the princes of this world known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”

The Mysterious “Ye are gods” Statement

This confrontation is the backdrop for one of the most enigmatic statements that God-with-us ever made.  “Ye are gods.”  What does He mean that we are “gods”?

We must first go back to the passage of scripture that the Savior quoted in Psalm 82: 6.  The word “gods” is translated from the Hebrew word elohim (#H430 in Strong’s Concordance), also translated “God” in hundreds of places.  Christ said, “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are the children of the most High.”  He’s saying that some had a spiritual existence with Him in the beginning.  He’s saying that there is more to the sons of Adam than just their earthly purposes.

Man, a spiritual being, created by God to house Him fully, in vain tries to live a fulfilling life by the acquisition of earthly things, when earthly things cannot suffice a human being, a being designed to be the glory of God, who is an invisible Spirit.

Yet, unregenerate man slugs on in the slop of misguided desires and lusts. These passions are for things that will not satisfy nor endure.

The sons and daughters of God, however, realize that they were put here by a Being that is not of this earth. They see their reality is not earth-based. They realize that they cannot see true reality by looking through earthly eyes. Man can only endure by seeing things other than earthly things.

It is a heavenly vision, a heavenly faith, a heavenly destiny, a heavenly plan, a heavenly purpose, a heavenly blueprint, a heavenly design, a heavenly way, a heavenly thought of a heavenly Father, who is above all this on earth and is in us whom He has called.

To even get out of the old and to get into the new life, we must believe in a spiritual being who does the saving. We have to believe in a Being we cannot see with our earthly eyes. We must believe in someone who is invisible, who is not of this earth, someone who calls us somehow with a calling that is not of this earth, calls us with a heavenly calling, and urges us in mysterious ways to appear to choose His heavenly way against the ‘better’ judgment of our earthly unbelieving senses—a someone who brings us into a place where we will repudiate all that we see here on earth and “count it all as dung” that we may win an invisible race for an invisible heavenly spiritual Supreme Being.

An enlightened man takes in this light—light that nothing earthly is as it seems. Everything is tricky here, slippery, treacherous, hypocritical, deceiving. Man is crooked, undependable, self-centered and prideful.

Nevertheless, there is a group of human beings who are beginning to realize that this walk here is a spiritual thing and not an earthly thing. They realize that they are in the world but their spirit is not of the earth. They realize that they are really strangers here on earth, that they are not really from the earth, that they are heavenly and spiritual, that they have become blind to the earthly desires and temptations.

They realize that they are looking for their home which is a four square city full of light that has 12 foundations where it never gets dark. That city, the New Jerusalem, is their home, which one day will come down out of heaven and set down right here on earth. And they believe this having never seen it with their earthly eyes [Quoted from Chapter 8 of my book The Unveiling of the Sons of God which you can find at the top of this page.  Just click “Ebook…”].

In a word, they begin to “walk in the Spirit.”  They begin to believe what the written Word says and not what sinful man says that it says.  And it tells us that God has “blessed us with all spiritual blessings and chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world,” and that He foreknew us and has “predestinated us to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”  And that He has called us, justified us, and glorified us (Eph 1: 3-4; Rom 8: 29-30).  Yes, God’s faith in His ability to make all this happen is strong.  It is such a sure thing in God’s heart and mind that our spiritual maturity culminates in our glorification with Him, even to the point of us sitting with Christ on the throne of God!  That is faith!  We need His faith in us working in our lives–not our puny faith where we try to muster up enough to do whatever.  He believes that we will come to full fruition as His manifested sons and daughters.  He believes and says that we are gods!  Incredible faith!

At present, we are not in our full spiritual elohim state of being, “when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy” (Job 38: 7). We in our spiritual state were with Him when the “foundations of the earth” were laid (38: 3-6).  Those “sons of God” were the elohim–the “us” in “Let us make man in our own image.”

For the time being here on earth, He has “made man a little lower than the angels” in that we are mortal and can very easily die (Psalm 8: 5).  “Angels” here is from the Hebrew word elohim again.  Man is lower than our first spiritual estate with the Father because of our impending date with death.

And, yet, “you have crowned him with glory and honor.”  It is a done deal in God’s mind.  And you made him (Adam) to have dominion over the works of thy hands (v. 6).  “Works” here are the “great righteous acts of Yahweh, the miracles and wonders.  In other words, the sons of Adam, after their spiritual regeneration, have miracle working power.  They have dominion over the same powerful acts done by Yahweh of old.

In Psalm 82, where Christ quotes “Ye are gods,” Yahweh is pleading with us the sons of Adam, to wake up to this high calling.  He is saying:

You are not just human beings, not just a flesh body.  You have a spirit in you that comes from Me.  You are my offspring; Spirit brings forth spirit.  You are elohim.  I am Elohim.  You are begotten of Me, and we now are all of One.  The same great “works of my hand” shall you do (Psm 8: 6).

But look at you!  You are scurrying about the earth as if you are just an intelligent animal!  I stand in your presence.  You all are My spiritual children and are a mighty congregation!  But I am passing judgment on you elohim-gods today, for you are not acting like I act.  You are not acting like Me, like I did when I was in the days of My flesh, when I judged righteously and justly.  You act as if you are not like Me.  We are one, but you act like you don’t believe that.  You judge unjustly (v. 2) and you are partial to the rich and powerful and wicked of this earth.

Look out over the earth at all the poor and needy.  These are they who do not have the spiritual riches of this knowledge that they are gods, like you do.  But you don’t tell them.  You don’t inform them of this truth.  They are without Me, their Father, and you won’t judge to tell them the truth so that they can escape the clutches of the wicked (v. 3).  My other children who are the earth-dwellers, who spend their years on earth with darkness as a constant cloak, without the knowledge and light that they are My spirit-children–they are lost and know not the way (v. 5).

Listen to Me.  I have already said that you are gods (elohim), but if you do not change, you will die like the rest of the fleshly Adamites, who don’t have this spiritual knowledge.  You are all the sons of the most High (v. 6 NIV).  But you will die like mere men; you will fall like every other ruler (v. 7), if you don’t start walking like Me in human form.  Rise up, my body of sons and daughters, my offspring, and judge the earth with Me, for I am the King of kings and the Master of masters.  All the nations are your inheritance…..

He says that we are gods–that we are elohim.  With the new heart and spirit that He has given us, we are coming back full circle–back to where we started in heavenly places in Christ.  But we must “make our calling and election sure.”  We must walk in full confidence after proving all things and study “to show ourselves approved” to be His heirs of the kingdom of God.  The 100 fold sonship walk is for those of full age and maturity.  It is time that we who are called to this walk put  aside everything of the past and prepare our hearts and others’ for the coming of our great God and Savior Jesus/Yahshua, the Anointed One, the Christ.  Kenneth Wayne Hancock

“Forgive Us Our Debts”–Loving the Unloveable

We had a saying during the mission years–those years in the ’70’s when a small group of us had come out of the world system and had lived and worked together–all of us longing  to become more like Christ.

It went like this: “Love Tom and save the world.”  Tom was our teacher and mentor.  He was also the one who did the correcting and the admonishing.  And we all at one time or another bristled at his rebukes, our egos being bruised.

Of course, the saying can contain anyone’s name–anyone, that is, that you are having a problem with.  “Love ______________and save the world.  You fill in the blank with the person that is the most difficult  for you to love today.  For if you can do that, then you will have arrived where God wants you in your Christian growth.  You will have in your vessel the Spirit of God Himself, who is Love.  And with the power that comes from His presence of Love inside of you, you can then save the world.  And, boy, does it need saving right now.

I am getting a fuller understanding of that old saying today, almost 40 years later.  If we can humble ourselves enough to ask God to grant to us His loving and forgiving nature to love that person who we are having trouble loving, then we will have manifested God in the flesh of our bodies.

In the normal everyday walk of our lives, certain people enter whose actions we despise.  They grate on us and both irritate and disgust us.  My earthly sister was such a person.  She was a drug addict–addicted to hydrocodone for 40 years.  She played my poor old mother, who was her enabler.  She stole from her–even my mom’s pain pills that her broken down 80 year old back needed.  Many times my sister left her without medication for two weeks.  This went on for decades.  My darling mother suffered greatly because of her.

I tried to get my mom to forsake her, the tough love Bible way–to not let her use her, but Mom could not do it.  We buried Mom in June of last year.  And to this day, my sister has never apologized for all of the lies and thefts and shame she brought upon our family.

Now my sister lays up in an intensive care bed with tubes running out of her face.  And I visited her, and told her I loved her and prayed for her that God would comfort her.  And although she could not open her eyes, tears washed over her eyelids and began to fill the sockets.  I know that she is feeling bad about things she has done.

My sister before this latest bout has really been trying, but because so much dirty water has passed under the bridge, it is difficult to love her.  I do love her with a earthly family love.  But I mean it is difficult to love her with a deep, resounding,  joyful love.

And so the memory of that old saying from the mission clangs on my heart tonight.  ” Love her and save the world.”  I should be like that man who woke up from a dream and had the revelation that he should begin today to forgive everybody

We are told by our Master to pray, asking the Father, “Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.”  What debts is He talking about?  A debt means that we owe something, but what do we owe?  “Owe no man anything but to love one another.”  To love each other–that is our debt!

So we ask God to forgive us when we don’t love each other, and He does this as we forgive those who don’t love us as they should.  This is us forgiving their debt of love to us.

So we need to realize that, yes, other human beings owe us love, but most are in their selfish, carnal nature that prevents them.  So we should just pray, “Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do.”  They do not realize that they should love everyone.

Our debt, then, is to love one another.  We need to have an attitude of forgiveness to all who don’t love us.  And here is the kicker: This is what God does.  And if each Seed bears its own kind, we as His seed, His children, should do the same as He does, which is loving the unloveable.   Kenneth Wayne Hancock

The Parable of the Sower–The Key to Unlocking All of the Parables

Chapter 20 of  Yah Is Savior: The Road to Immortality

The Master said that one parable is the key that solves the puzzle, that answers the riddles of the other parables. By understanding this one, all the other parables would yield their secrets. That parable is the parable of the sower. And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? And how then will ye know all parables? Mark 4:13.

Matthew 13:1-9

“The same day went Yahshua out of the house, and sat by the sea side. And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

“And he spake unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; and when he sowed, Some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: and when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

“And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them; but other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirty-fold. Who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Three Levels of Spiritual Fruit Production

The Master speaks no idle words. He mentions three levels of fruit production—thirty, sixty and one hundred fold. Those who do receive the word, the seed, will produce fruit for Him at different levels of spiritual growth. We know that this 30, 60, and 100 fold He mentions is spiritual because “the words He speaks are Spirit and they are life.” All three of these fruit bearers are in His fold, in His kingdom. They are all “good ground,” with a “good and honest heart.” They are in, and yet, some bear more fruit than others. That is what it says.

First, He gives His understanding to some, and to some He does not. Now some of those who make it into His kingdom will bear more fruit than others. But some will say, What is going on here? That does not seem right. But, is God unfair? He did say that His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts.

We just wouldn’t do it that way. And with that thought we are tempted to believe that we are more fair than the Father. The fact is that His ways are past finding out. He is the Creator, the Potter, sitting at His wheel. We are the clay. And can the thing formed say to Him that formed it, “Why did you make me like this? I wanted to be a vessel in the house of the king, and here you have made me an old pot that the washwoman uses.” Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? Romans 9:21. He is in control, and we need to look it all over.

Some will get it, and some will not

And so He is saying, I am speaking unto them in parables, and some will get it and some will not. And it is a gift. This knowledge is given to certain people in the earth. The Master goes on and says in v. 12, “For whosoever has to him shall be given.” “Has” is present tense, right now. If we are those to whom He has given these precious truths, then it is done. It may be lying dormant in there, but it is just waiting to come alive in us. We just may not realize that we are going to be the receptacle to receive this truth in its fullness.

“Whosoever has, to him shall be given.” Has what? Could it be that that person has their name written in heaven? “And he shall have more abundance: but whosoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which says, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive.”

A person can look right at it and not see it. “For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed.” He knew that they would close. This is the reason that we don’t comprehend His plan and purpose. It is because our hearts and minds are in this condition. “Lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” So they are in trouble. He is talking about the multitudes at that time and projecting forth to our time.

He goes on to say to the disciples in v. 16, “But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.” You are seeing things that many righteous men, prophets and kings have desired to see in their natural life, but did not. The Master is saying, “You are seeing me talk to you. You are seeing Me, Yahshua, the Self-Existent One in human form talking to you. For my name means the Self-Existent-One-is-Savior. And you are seeing me speak to you right now lining out this kingdom.”

And that is what all the prophets, who had the Spirit of Yahshua within them, looked forward to and spoke about. It was only because of His Spirit within them that they were able to speak the things that they said.

The Master explains the “Parable of the Sower”

“Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Matthew 13:18-23.

He always alluded to what was next to them in nature—a field of wheat, barley, corn, trees. And we know that even in a well-prepared field of corn some of the ears will be bigger that others. That is all there is to it. It is a fact of life, of nature. It is His doing, and it is marvelous, and we are just grateful that we can eat of that corn. When we are eating that piece of cornbread, we don’t care if the ear that the grains were taken from was three inches long or a foot long. It is good corn. And that is the way that we should look at the little ears of corn in His kingdom, and the mid-size ears, and the big ears. We have to see the distribution of it with spiritual eyes.

In the concept of 30, 60, and 100 fold, the Master is talking about different distinct levels of fruit bearing in His kingdom. Some of his offspring will walk in His Spirit in a greater depth than others. This may be a new concept, totally new to our way of thinking.

Yet there are many other scriptures that confirm this. “First the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear…Faith, hope, and charity (agape love)…Justification, sanctification, and glorification…”

The Apostle John Explains It Further

A 30, 60, and 100 fold precept is found in I John 2:12. “I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.” He is saying that I want to reassure you that your sins are forgiven because His name means Yah-is-Savior, and He has done it in your life. I don’t believe that if he were writing another apostle or prophet that he would have to reassure him about that point! The apostle Paul said, “I fathered you in the gospel.” Paul was a spiritual father, not a little child of God. And yet John is writing to all three levels of growth, children, young men, and fathers, for all three were growing together in the assemblies.

Verse 13: “I write unto you fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning.” You have that knowledge, that depth and have gone on back into the Father’s heart and know the Father well. He’s not addressing little children “tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine.” No. That is not a father in the gospel; that is not Paul, for sure. “I write unto you young men, because you have overcome the wicked one.” I want to encourage you in that, he is saying. In a 60 fold growth, followers of Yah will have overcome the devil.

So we see that John wrote to three different levels of growth in the Messiah here. This fits in perfectly with what Yahshua spoke of in the parable of the sower in Matthew 13. And although there is not one stone upon another in the house of Yahweh, there are three distinct levels of growth. And this is a secret and a mystery of the kingdom.

This does not set well with some people, and to some it is not a problem. If we have our own conception of the way things are in His kingdom that does not have this in it, then there could be some problems in receiving it. “Charity (agape love) rejoices at the truth.” We all must see that our job as His creation, His “create-ture,” is to believe the truth. We are not to formalize the truth in our imagination, but rather be open to it and just receive it.

Most of what John admonished in I John 2 was written to little children. He would not have written, for example, “Keep yourselves from idols,” to a Peter, Paul, or James. That was to little children who needed that exhortation.

The three levels found in another parable

Furthermore, this same concept of differing abilities, different levels of spiritual fruit-bearing in Christians, can be found in the parable of the talents in Mt. 25:14.   Yahshua likens Himself unto a man who was traveling into a far country and delivered all his goods to his servants. He did not give all his servants an identical amount of goods to take care of. He entrusted five talents to one, two to another, and one to another—according to their ability. The servants with the five and two did well and were rewarded accordingly. The servant with one did not do so well. The point is that the Master makes a distinction in responsibility. The ones who were faithful, were rewarded accordingly.

If we are all the same and are going to bear the same amount and kind of fruit, why does He say, “To whom much is given, much is required”? If He gives us much responsibility in His kingdom to do, He will require much. He says of Himself, “I am an austere man, reaping where I did not sow” (His apostles have been sowing all this in us through the scriptures).

He said that there are different harvest production rates, different levels of spiritual fruit production. The word, the seed, falls into a good and honest heart. And the result is that some will bear 30 fold spiritual fruit. They are in, and it is a wonderful thing. And that may be all this writer ever does. If 30 fold is what He has for me, that is fine. I just want to be in the harvest.

And yet, some will bear 60 fold fruit; the Spirit will come into them, and they will have overcome the wicked one. And then some will be 100 fold fruit bearing offspring of the living Yahweh. They will be strong and do exploits in the land. And if I am not called to be one of these one hundred fold fruit bearers, then that is okay. I do not have a problem with it. I just want to help them do it, if that is the case. I just want to be a part of it.  KWH

The Mind of Christ–What Are His Thoughts?

We are told to “let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus (Yahshua)” [1].  We are then to have His thoughts, to think the way He does, to meditate on subjects that fill His mind.

So what fills His mind?  What is He thinking about right now?

We get a thumbnail sketch of His thoughts in His model prayer for us, the so-called “Lord’s Prayer.”  In it Christ mentions the Father’s name, the Kingdom of God, His will to be done in earth, the spiritual bread, forgiveness, deliverance from evil, and a need to surrender to the Father’s majesty.

These subjects in Christ’s mind are vast “that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written” [2].  So I want to address just one aspect of one of them–the Kingdom of God.

The “good news” is the “gospel of the kingdom of God” [3].  The true gospel that Christ spoke continually of is the good news that His Father’s kingdom is coming to this earth.  He is speaking of a real government that will replace all of man’s governments.  Righteousness, peace, and joy will replace crookedness, war, and misery that is plaguing the planet at this present time.  That is the good news that filled Christ’s mind.

We have been told since childhood that the gospel is something else–that it is salvation.  Salvation is important as a first step, for one cannot enter the kingdom of God, the government of God, without it.  It is, however, only the first  baby step.  God wants us to grow up and be His governors in His literal kingdom that is soon coming to fill this whole earth.  There is so much more to it than what most churches teach!

The Thousand Year Reign

Where do we think we will be during the millenial reign of Christ?  He is returning to earth to establish God’s government here.  Are we going to be with Him here, or will we be “rolling around heaven all day”?  Will His offspring be playing harps on streets of gold in some mystical place, or will we be rolling up our sleeves and doing the work of “building the old waste places” of the earth–the aftermath of the great tribulation period?

If the overcomers are to “sit with Him on His throne,” then when will that happen?  Again, Christ is  coming back here to earth to rule and reign for 1,000 years.  His throne will be here, and the overcomers will be sitting with Him on His throne [4].  To those same overcomers “will I give power over the nations” to rule over them [5].

We need to have Christ’s mind, to think like He thinks.  And He thinks big!  On a world wide scale–like a worldwide government.  His true followers will He appoint to “have authority over ten cities” as He mentions in the parable of the pounds [6].  This parable, which as all parables reveal mysteries “kept secret from the foundation of the world,” is a snapshot of what His true followers will be doing during the 1,000 year reign.  They will be rulers–kings, if you will–over geographical areas of the earth.

He did say that He was the “King of kings and the Lord of lords” [I Tim. 6: 5].  Look up “king” in the Greek and it is “leader of the people, prince, commander, lord of the land, king.”  “Lord of the land”?  What land?  The earth during the 1,000 year reign.

If you are reading this and seeing this, then “blessed are your eyes, for they see.  For many prophets and righteous men have desired to see these things and have not seen them” [8].  Why?  Because they saw the Kingdom afar off.  And it is for our time.  Oh, they will be with us in the kingdom.  In fact, we will sit at their feet and honor their faith that has been such an inspiration to us and that has helped us in our walk. They now sleep in the dust of the earth until Christ returns and resurrects them to be a part of His entourage at the beginning of the new wondrous age of peace that the Prince of peace will bring to this crooked, starved planet.

Oh, there is so much more that He wants to reveal to us, which is what He is thinking about, which is what is on His mind.

But the shame of it is this.  Many who claim to know God don’t know what His thoughts are.  I want to believe that this is the case.  For if they know about the true gospel of the kingdom and don’t share it with others for what ever reason, then–let’s just say–God will be most unpleased with them.

And so I have to ask the question: How can you “know God” and not know His thoughts, not know what is in His mind?  When you know a person, you know what they are about.  You know whats on their mind because they will speak their thoughts.

In any event, we haven’t even scratched the surface of what is the Mind of Christ, which is the Mind of the Father.  “For eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for those that love Him” [9].

These are the “unsearchable riches of Christ.”  But then, He also told us, “Seek and you shall find” the “hid treasure” in the earth, which is the Kingdom of God, which is “the mind of Christ.”  KWH

“The LORD Has Called Me from the Womb”–On My Cancelled Appointment with Death*

I almost died in a car wreck the other day.  I was on the four lane topping a hill, when I looked for just a half-second at the radio.  And as I crested the rise, something had me look up, and there the pickup truck was, moving slowly in front of me.  I swerved to the left  just in time to miss it.

The end of the trailer was the heighth of my windshield.  A decapitation would have been the way I went out of this world.

I immediately knew that a higher power wanted me to live some more days on earth.  I thanked God right there for quickening in me the impulse to look up.  I could not see the truck and trailer, but He did.  I got this sensation that God really was watching over me.

A couple of days later, I opened the Good Book, and it literally fell open to Isaiah 46: 3.  I started reading: “ “Listen to me, O house of Jacob, all you who remain of the house of Israel, you whom I have upheld since you were conceived, and have carried since your birth.  Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”

Wow!  I looked in the mirror at my gray hair, and thought, He has always had His hand on me.  I flashed on some of the close calls with death–the Viet Nam War days of hell, when the mortars stopped their ungodly loud footsteps just before they fell on me–the times in my youth when I drove drunk all over the road and somehow did not kill myself or anyone else.

And then I realized that He has held on to me since I was conceived!  He not only knew me, but has protected me and lifted me up since my conception in my mother’s womb!  He has carried me since my birth into this cruel old world.  And, yes, even to my old age, gray hair and all, He is still sustaining me.  For He created me and He promised in this passage of scripture that He would carry me.  “I will sustain you, and I will rescue you.”  He really has all my life.

Then I looked again and saw that this passage is written to many other people, not just to me.  He is saying this  to the whole House of Jacob and all who remain of the House of Israel.  I know through my studies that the House of Jacob/Israel consisted of all twelve tribes.  And that ten of those tribes were lost after they were carried away captive around 700 B. C.    And I know that the Savior Himself  700 years later said that He was sent to these “lost sheep of the House of Israel.”  The apostle James writes his letter “to the twelve tribes scattered abroad.”  I also know that the other two tribes were Judah and Benjamin, who were the Kingdom of Judah, and that they were not lost.

The point is that God knows us from our beginnings.  He knows us personally, and He has sustained and helped us our entire lives–for a purpose–His eternal purpose.  Now we must fully believe this His love for us, and we must seek out just what purpose He has for us.

His kingdom is literally coming to earth.  Christ is the King of kings.  He is “bringing many sons unto glory.”  Of course, He will look after them from their conception.  He has a plan for them.   KWH

Book: YAH IS SAVIOR: THE ROAD TO IMMORTALITY Chap. 1

[Below please find the first chapter of my book, Yah Is Savior: The Road to Immortality. I will be serializing it as posts in this weblog, ImmortalityRoad. After posting each chapter, I will be placing them in a page at the top of the blog, saying, BOOK–YAH IS SAVIOR: THE ROAD TO IMMORTALITY.]

Step One— Wisdom

“And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom…” Job 28:28.

fear, n. A feeling of reverential awe, especially toward God.  New Century Dictionary.

Chapter 1

Getting Wisdom, The Main Thing

The first step we need to take on the road to immortality is to somehow get wisdom. The scriptures say that “wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7.  With these words, the Spirit is telling us that the absolute main thing that we need to receive is wisdom.  We cannot get to God without it.  We cannot find Him without it.  It is the principal thing!  He didn’t say to first get love or peace or go to meetings or tithe or anything of the kind. He said that wisdom is the main thing.

To get into a treasure house literally overflowing with rubies, emeralds, sapphires, diamonds, and gold, all you need—the main thing that you need—is the key that unlocks the door, that opens the way into the treasures. Wisdom is that key.

And  so  we  see  that  wisdom  is  that   principal thing.  It is the key that unlocks the door to the spiritual treasure house of God.  Without it we cannot get any further in our quest to receive of His storehouse. We’ve got to get wisdom.

Many people have tried to enter into the vaults of the  Supreme  Being where His treasures are stored.  Many  have  wanted  to  explore   the   unsearchable riches of the Messiah, without wisdom.  Many people have tried to clone the Messiah or make temples and buildings to please Him, without wisdom. Mankind sometimes uses interesting but futile chants, hums, repetitions, songs, shouts, “slayings-in-the-spirit” and the like, but the Almighty is not impressed by them. He seeks people to worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

Many have twisted the word “riches” to mean only money: filthy lucre, mammon, riches of this world, wealth that  the  world  and  Satan  can  give  (“I’ll  give you all the kingdoms of this world if…”) . And yet, Wisdom cries to us in Proverbs 8:18: “Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.” The durable riches, those that will last, are with wisdom.  And the righteousness that will last and endure is with wisdom, as well.  In the end man will be destroyed “that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches…” Psalms 52:7-8.

The true riches

Wisdom says, “Riches and honor are with me.”  What riches?  We know that it’s not this world’s riches.  It’s not money.  We are  to seek after wisdom

and understanding as we would jewels and gold and silver.  What are these true riches that come with wisdom?  Paul says in Colossians 2:3 that all of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in the Savior.

The “true riches,” simply put, is nothing less than the full glorification of many sons and daughters  at  the  culmination  of  this  age.  We are talking about immortal offspring walking the face of this earth in the image of the heavenly One who also tread this earth some 2000 years ago.

The Messiah appeared many times to the patriarchs. He walked and communed with Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob/Israel, Moses, Elijah, and many other prophets before His incarnation almost 2000 years ago.  Immortality, communing with the Creator—that is what the true riches are.  That is what comes with wisdom.  Wisdom is the key that unlocks the door to receive the true riches.

The mystery of the unjust steward

The Savior spoke of the true riches in a parable in Luke l6, the parable of the unjust steward.  The manager was wise in that when he found out that he was going to get fired, he cut all the people who owed his boss money a sweet deal.  This reduced the amount of debt owed to his boss.  It was his last act before his dismissal.  And the Master commended him because he had done wisely. Because in worldly money matters, in things not of the Spirit, unrighteous people are wiser than His spiritual little children.

There is a way to handle money wisely and in a righteous manner.  We live on earth in earthen vessels.  Money buys food and sustenance. We are to  be a good and honest caretaker of someone else’s goods. “If you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon (riches), who will commit to your trust the true riches?  And if you have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?” Luke 16.1-12.  If we can’t in an honest manner take care of the earthly things like money and goods, then He will not give us the true riches which is our own inheritance. And this inheritance is his nature, his immortality and life within us.

It says that the dishonest manager was wiser in his generation.  Sin and dishonesty were generating his actions out from within his corrupt heart.  But he had a “wisdom.”  There was a wisdom that this dishonest man had that children of the Father do not have.  What did he do that was so wise in the unjust realm?  He had respect of the power of the rich men that he had to work for.

If his current boss were going to get rid of him, news would leak out as to why he was being fired. It would soon get around that he was untrustworthy and dishonest.  So, he used that same dishonesty to help his employer’s  creditors, to discount what they owed to him.  This, of course, endeared him to those other rich men, for they had saved money through him.  This would help him find a new job with one of them.

The Lord says that we need to be wise in a righteous  and  honorable  way, the way he was wise in a dishonest way.  We need to have awe and respect of our boss, the Creator, who is the Father of spirits, so that when the time comes when we are  put out of the stewardship of our earthly bodies, He will grant unto us the true riches of immortality and His presence.

Worshipping in Spirit and in Truth–Be No More Children, Tossed To and Fro

Little children of God are mostly alive for what they can receive from their Father.  Churches are full of babes and little children wanting something from God for themselves.

Don’t get me wrong.  I am not condemning them.  We all start out young, green, and self-centered babes in Christ, much like little natural babies.  We are dependent on others for our spiritual sustenance.  Many desire to be “filled with the Spirit,” usually  to alleviate current miseries of the heart and soul.

God is the Deliverer and Savior.  But there is a strong tendency for little children of God to remain in this state of spiritual childhood.

The apostles strongly admonished us “to be no more children, being tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine.”  Little children are easily deceived, both in the natural and in the spiritual.  A teaching comes out, and they run after it.  Another comes around, and they are tossed about wondering if that doctrine is true or not.  All “winds of doctrine” are not of God.  If they leave a person weak and vulnerable and needing another weekly recharge at church to maybe get them back to where they started from in their Christian experience, then something is greatly lacking.

And that something is truth.  Worshipping in “spirit” is not enough.  Animation without truth is just that–movement and being animated, “holding the form of God but denying the power.”  The Father is looking for His offspring to worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

What Truth Are You Talking About?

The truth as to His true plan and purpose in the earth in bringing forth His manifested sons and daughters who will walk on this earth in full resplendent glory doing the “greater works” that the Savior Himself promised that some would do!  All of our trials are not “worthy to be compared to the glory  that shall be revealed in us.”  You want to claim something?  Claim that.  Ask God to help make you one of His first fruits.  He said that “He is bringing many sons unto glory.”  Have you ever asked who these elect sons and daughters are?

How about the truth about God’s original Hebrew name and the power found in its meaning: Yahshua = The Self-existent One is the Savior = Yahweh come in the flesh.  How about worshipping Him in Spirit and that truth?

What about the truth concerning the counterfeit one world government being formed as we speak–a false kingdom that will elevate a false messiah to power and the whole world will wonder after this man of sin, this ruler of Satan’s world system.

We must worship Him in Spirit–His Spirit–and in truth–His truth.  Not some manmade doctrines, which are nothing more than “cunningly devised fables” crafted to “deceive the very elect, if it were possible.”

It is only when we “believe upon Him as the scripture has said”–then, the Holy Spirit will come down and flow out of our inner being like “rivers of living waters.”   “As the scripture has said” signifies “believing on Him the true way that the scriptures lay out.”

All Must Make a Choice

Now we all must make a choice.  Perhaps God is calling some to leave childhood and complete and perfect the life-cycle of the Seed, the Word of God Made Flesh in us!  And become fathers and mothers of multitudes of manifested sons and daughters.

The apostle Paul exhorts us to “go on unto perfection.”  And the only way for that to happen is “not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and faith toward God.”  Not laying it again and again and again and again!  These things we ought to have done–true repentance and believing God for a new heart that won’t sin ever again.

But the people don’t get to hear this because their preachers  come from their very ranks and are children themselves, tossed to and fro in their deception.

And so it goes.  But His will shall be done in this earth.  Why?  He has already spoken it, like us, into existence.  And His word will not return unto Him void, but it will accomplish what He sent it to do.  Kenneth Wayne Hancock
