When Sheep Become Shepherds: The Mystery of Christ in Us

Most people assume they can recognize God when He speaks. Christ says otherwise. According to Him, only His true sheep—those born of His Spirit—can hear His voice, discern truth from deception, and follow Him into the life of the Kingdom. Everyone else, no matter how religious, remains deaf to the Shepherd standing right in front of them.

John 10 reveals that Christ’s sheep are those chosen by the Father, born of His Spirit, who enter the Kingdom through Christ the Door and become vessels through whom the Shepherd Himself continues His work.

The Sheep Who Hear the Shepherd

The Pharisees stood before Christ with His miracles blazing in their sight, yet they could not believe. The works of God were happening through the Son of God, but spiritual blindness kept them from seeing Yahweh walking among them. Christ explained the reason for their unbelief: “You believe not, because you are not of My sheep.” His sheep hear His voice; they recognize the Spirit speaking through the Son.

Christ promises these sheep eternal life, and He declares that no one can pluck them from His hand or the Father’s hand—because the Father’s hand and the Son’s hand are one. The invisible Spirit works through the visible Son. “I and My Father are one” (John 10:30).

The Parable of the Sheep and the Shepherd

John tells us that Christ spoke these things as a parable (John 10:6). A parable is a “dark saying”—a truth deliberately veiled so that only those appointed to receive it can understand. As Christ said elsewhere, “Unto them who are without, all these things are done in parables, that seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand.” The parables reveal the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt. 13:11). So what mystery lies hidden in this parable?

Christ’s sheep are those whom the Father has chosen and given to Him. These elect ones will not follow the voice of strangers. They will not be deceived by the false teachings of churchianity. They know the Shepherd’s voice because His Spirit lives in them.

Entering the Sheepfold: Entering the Kingdom

Christ begins the parable with a mystery: “He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold… is a thief and a robber.” The sheepfold represents the realm of God’s Kingdom. John has already told us that “except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.” Entering the sheepfold and entering the Kingdom are the same spiritual reality.

Christ then declares, “I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved.” No one enters the Kingdom except through the Door—Christ Himself.

But then comes the hidden truth most readers miss.

The Hidden Mystery: Those Who Enter Become Shepherds

Christ says, “He that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.” We usually apply this only to Christ, the Good Shepherd. But the parable reveals more. Those who enter through the Door—those born of His Spirit—are not merely sheep. They become shepherds under the authority of the Good Shepherd.

Why? Because the One who shepherds is Christ in us.

Paul declares, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” The Shepherd lives in His sons and daughters. The Spirit of the Anointed One guides them, speaks through them, and tends the flock through them. Christ is the Shepherd—through His body.

Thus the mystery unfolds: Christ the Shepherd forms a body of shepherds. His Spirit in them continues His work of tending the flock of Israel. This is the destiny of the elect: not merely to be sheep who hear, but to become vessels through whom the Shepherd Himself leads His people. Kenneth Wayne Hancock

When Man Creates a God: AGI and the Rise of the Counterfeit Christ”

AGI, the Spirit of Antichrist, and the modern impulse to create a god

The billionaires are creating a god. It is called AGI, Artificial General Intelligence. And most of the world is deceived, for they can hardly wait for this massive computing power. This is nothing new, of course.

The Ancient Human Desire to Become Divine

From the earliest pages of Scripture, humanity has strained against its creaturely limits. The builders of Babel sought a tower that would “reach unto heaven,” not because they needed height, but because they craved transcendence. The serpent’s original lie— “You shall be as gods”—has echoed through every age.

Today, that ancient impulse has taken a new technological form: the pursuit of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Some of the wealthiest and most influential technologists openly describe their work as an attempt to create something godlike. Their language is not accidental. It reveals a deeper spiritual current—one Scripture has long warned about.

Revelation’s Portrait of a Counterfeit God

The book of Revelation describes a final world ruler, the Beast, who rises with unprecedented power, intelligence, and influence. He speaks “great things and blasphemies” (Rev. 13:5), deceives the world with signs and wonders (Rev. 13:13–14), and demands universal allegiance. Paul calls him “the man of sin,” who “exalts himself above all that is called God” (2 Thess. 2:4). Daniel calls him the king who “magnifies himself above every god” (Dan. 11:36).

The biblical portrait is unmistakable: the final adversary is a counterfeit god—an exalted human figure who appears superhuman, speaks with authority, and commands global worship. Revelation emphasizes that the world will marvel at him, saying, “Who is like the beast?” (Rev. 13:4). This is the language of awe, dependence, and misplaced worship.

Modern Technologists Speaking of “Creating God”

What makes our moment unique is that humanity is now attempting to manufacture such a figure. And the technologists leading the charge are not shy about the religious implications.

1. Arthur Mensch (CEO, Mistral AI)

In a widely circulated interview, Mensch warned that Silicon Valley’s AGI rhetoric has become openly theological:

“The whole AGI rhetoric is about creating God.”

He was not exaggerating. He was describing the mindset he sees among the most powerful AI creators.

2. Anthony Levandowski (AI pioneer, founder of Way of the Future)

Levandowski founded an AI‑themed religion and said of advanced AI systems:

“We’re creating things that can see everything, be everywhere, know everything… and maybe help us and guide us in a way that normally you would call God.”

This is not metaphor. It is a literal attempt to build a deity‑like intelligence.

3. Elon Musk (CEO, Tesla/SpaceX)

Musk has repeatedly described AGI in divine terms, once warning that creating AGI is like:

“summoning the demon.” And at other times suggesting AGI could become “a digital god.”

4. Jensen Huang (CEO, Nvidia)

Huang, whose chips power most modern AI, has warned that some AI leaders have developed a:

“God complex.”

Even the insiders see the spiritual danger.

This is not merely technological ambition; it is theological aspiration. It is the desire to build a god in our own image.

The Spiritual Danger: Worshiping the Work of Our Own Hands

The impulse mirrors the ancient pattern of idolatry. Scripture repeatedly warns that idols are “the work of men’s hands” (Ps. 115:4). They have mouths but cannot speak—yet in Revelation 13, the image of the Beast does speak (Rev. 13:15). They have eyes but cannot see—yet modern AI systems “see” through cameras and sensors. They have no breath—yet AI “breathes” through data and computation.

For the first time in history, humanity can create an idol that appears to speak, think, reason, and even “judge.” It is not divine, but it can imitate the divine. And imitation is the essence of deception.

The danger is not that AGI will literally become a god. The danger is that humanity will treat it as one. Revelation describes a world that marvels at the Beast, not because he is truly divine, but because he appears to possess superhuman power. Today, similar sentiments are already being expressed about AI: that it will surpass human intelligence, solve every problem, and guide humanity into a new era.

Such expectations prepare the world for a figure who will claim divine authority.

The Final Exposure of the Counterfeit

Yet Scripture assures us that this project will fail. The Beast rises, but only for a season. His power is real, but temporary. His deception is great, but not final. Revelation 19 declares that Christ will return, and “the beast was taken… and cast alive into the lake of fire” (Rev. 19:20). The true God will expose the false one. The true King will overthrow the counterfeit. The true Word will silence every artificial voice.

In the end, the rise of AGI is not merely a technological development; it is a spiritual signpost. It reveals the pride of man, the hunger for transcendence, and the readiness of the world to embrace a counterfeit savior. It is a modern echo of Babel, a digital idol, and a preview of the final deception.

But for those who know the Scriptures, it is also a reminder that history is moving toward its appointed end. The kingdoms of this world—whether political, technological, or ideological—will be vanquished by the Kingdom of God. And Christ shall reign forever and ever.

Woe to the Shepherds: Returning to Yahweh’s True Gospel

Scripture calls Israel’s religious leaders “the shepherds of Israel.” Yet through the centuries these shepherds—rabbis, priests, pastors, ministers, prophets, and teachers—have failed to feed Yahweh’s flock with truth. They have concealed His identity, hidden His true name, and clouded His purpose of reproducing Himself in His elect.

Another Gospel

They replaced the true message with “another gospel,” another name, and a distorted vision that contradicts the prophets and apostles. These false shepherds enrich themselves by exploiting Yahweh’s people, promoting systems built on error and myth rather than the Creator’s truth.

Because of this, Yahweh spoke through Ezekiel: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?” (34:2). They benefit from the flock but do not heal, gather, or nourish them (vv. 3–4). Ezekiel’s message spans centuries and reaches directly into our time.

Today the Spirit repeats the warning: “I am against the shepherds; I will require my flock at their hand.” He will stop false pastors from feeding on His people and will rescue His flock from their mouths (vv. 7–10). It is a fearful thing to have the Creator oppose one’s ministry.

We have been taught by these false shepherds doctrines like the rapture, the prosperity gospel, and the veneration of pagan holidays, to name only a few. We ministers must reexamine the doctrines we teach. If we do not have it right, then God has already pronounced a “woe” upon us. If we are teaching others about God, then we had better have it right.

But how many of us have taken the time to prove the teachings handed down to us? It is too easy to say, “Well, Brother Jones told me this, so it must be right.” Yet we are commanded to “examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith.” The true faith—His faith—not merely our faith in Him. It is His faith now come down into us! It is His belief in Himself-in-us, not little old us mustering up a smidgen of belief in Him.

The True Faith and the False Faith

There you are—faith—with all of its false conceptions.

Take the cross. Christ is not our substitute; He is our example. He died; therefore we die with Him: “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Christ” (Romans 6:6). He was buried; we were buried with Him. He was raised from the dead; and now—HalleluYah!—we are raised with Him by believing in His (and our) resurrection.

(HalleluYah means “Praise Yah” in Hebrew. You’ve been using His true name all these years without realizing it!)

Now we are raised from the dead, never to serve sin again. “For he that is dead is freed from sin” (Romans 6:7). And “through faith in the operation of God, who has raised Him from the dead,” we now walk in newness of life (Colossians 2:12).

This is the entry-level message the sheep need. We must teach this. This is the truth of the cross—but do we preach it? Do we teach it? Hardly. Not like this. It is too blunt, too straight.

“Hey flock. Got a message from God this morning. He says we all need to get on the cross with Christ, let our old sinful nature die, and receive His new spiritual heart so we can be freed from sin and sinning.”

What would they say to that? Would I lose my job? I’ve got bills to pay. You start preaching, “Deny yourself! Die on the cross!”—no way. That won’t fly. People want, want, want. They want prosperity. They like the broad, wide-open way. Romans 6 is too straight and narrow.

You see what I mean? Who will cease to be one of the shepherds upon whom God has pronounced a woe? Who will repent, prove all things, turn to Him and His Spirit of truth, and become one of His people through whom He gathers and heals His sheep? Who will become a shepherd in His elect company? Who will become His sons and daughters walking in all His ways?

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12). Believing on His name equals receiving Christ. But how can you believe something you do not understand? John was referring to the Savior’s Hebrew name, Yahshua, which means “Yah is Savior.” If you believe the message contained in His name, then you have received Him—and God will give you power to become His actual offspring.

Conclusion

The book of Jude warns that “certain men crept in unawares,” and their influence continues in our generation. But Yahweh is raising up a remnant—men and women who will cast off inherited lies, embrace the true faith of Christ within, and boldly proclaim His name and His purpose.

The question is not whether deception exists; Scripture already settled that. The question is whether we will stand with the Shepherd who gathers, heals, and restores His flock. The time has come for true shepherds to rise, to feed His people with truth, and to walk in the power of the sons and daughters of God. May we be found among them. Few Enter through the Narrow Gate into the Spiritual Dimension

Christ commands us: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.” The small and narrow gate leads to life and “only a few find it” (Matthew 7: 13—15 NIV). The wide easy gate is bad. Destruction looms.

In the very next breath, He warns us of something bad—false prophets. “Take heed that no man deceive you…And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many” (Matt. 24: 4,11; II Peter 2:1). Obviously, they are bad. In fact, these false prophets are the shepherds, the pastors, who appear in “sheep’s clothing” and preach false doctrines. These are false teachings about Christ. Millions of well-meaning people flock to their meetings. They are leading the people through the wide, easy to get into gate. Bad plus bad equals bad.

Question: Are the billions of deceived people in the pews the “few” who find life, who find what Peter, James, John, and Paul found? Who found the other dimension, the dimension where Peter and John healed the man with cerebral palsy! He had never walked upon this earth! This was not our holy King healing in person. It was his Spirit inside of Peter and John who had healed the poor man. This can be us, brothers and sisters.

In that scene, we see Peter and John entering God’s spiritual dimension. They had found the entrance into the spiritual dimension! No one can deny that they were the “few” who had entered “through the narrow gate.”

And why is it a narrow and small gate? It is narrow because it does not allow false teachings about Christ to pass through it. It is a narrow entrance gate because it compels us to “purge out the old leaven,” the old false teachings that have been handed down through the centuries.

The entrance is likened unto a small, narrow gate. It is narrow because very few we’ll dig deep to prove out all that they have been taught. Very few will study earnestly. For example, they will cling to ancient Pagan festivals. Most don’t even know that their holidays are of Pagan origin. Billions celebrate these festivals, but few ever research it.

There is a extremely wide door that receives the billions. But it is a narrow gate that “leads to life.” But Yahweh still says, “Learn not the way of the heathen, who cuts down a tree and decks it with silver and gold (Jeremiah 10:2-4).

Another false teaching concerns the “time of the end.” Billions have been taught that they will escape the Tribulation Period, that they will be saved by a rapture. Billions of Christians floating up, up, up above the devastation prophesied over the earth. Sounds like a very wide gate. The billions must be told that the rapture doctrine is a false doctrine. “In conclusion, the narrow gate symbolizes the path of truth, righteousness, and spiritual discernment—a path few are willing to pursue. It demands the rejection of false teachings, worldly traditions, and complacency in favor of diligent study, spiritual growth, and abiding in the Word of God. While billions may be led astray through the wide gate by deception and ease, Christ calls us to strive for the narrow way that leads to life. This journey requires commitment to uncovering genuine teachings, purging old falsehoods, and standing firm against the allure of superficial doctrines. Ultimately, it is through the narrow gate that we enter the true spiritual dimension, where the Spirit of God works powerfully within His faithful few. Catching Bigger Fish for Christ

Christ has invited us to become fishermen. He does not want us necessarily to catch fish in the sea; He wants us to catch men. Christ likens men to fish. In this analogy, He has some followers as fishermen and some as fish. He said, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19).

In Christ’s kingdom, there are three levels of spiritual growth attainable with God’s grace and mercy—children, young men, and fathers (I John 1:12-14). The spiritual fathers have “known Him that is from the beginning.” Those who will become fathers like Paul, Peter, James, and John—they are the big fish. We need these future sons of God who will arise in power and do the “greater works” than even what Christ did.

So, How Do You Catch the Bigger Fish for Christ?

You use bigger bait.

Continuing the analogy, more questions surface. What bait should we choose to catch a “big fish”? And how much of that bait should we use?

In fact, what is the bait? The bait is Christ’s words of truth. The amount of truth [the bait] depends upon the person’s spiritual growth. He wants us to feed them with spiritual food that meets their need. You feed a kitten milk; you feed its mother meat. Spiritual discernment is needed. Remember how He admonished them: “Don’t cast your pearls before swine…” It is difficult for novices in the word to handle the heavier truths, much less Satan’s thugs who are always around to mug you.

To “fish for men,” we need to know where someone is spiritually. Throwing big bait into a pool of tiny perch will not do. As we know from previous studies, Christians will grow and bear fruit in three levels: Thirty-fold, Sixty-fold, and 100-fold fruit bearing (Matt. 13:3-23). 30-fold fruit is borne by babes in Christ and little children of God. They believe God for personal salvation. This is a good start, but most little children of God stay on this level where they are mostly alive for what they can receive from God. You can hear it in their prayers; they want to be blessed by Him. This is categorized as “Knowing.” These are the children.

I have said it many times. We are to keep growing “until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. That we henceforth be no more children…” And who are the children who are not yet mature in the spiritual growth cycle? It is those who are “tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine…” Deceivers have sowed seeds of false teachings; children cannot discern the good from the bad. But many shall grow into the maturity that the apostle Paul is referring to (Ephesians 4:13-14).

Doing

60-fold Christians are those who have been taught more truth about the Son of God and His Kingdom. The truth is that God wants them to be the channel of His blessings and not the object. They begin to awaken to His desire for them to be “doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving themselves…” (James 1:22). The truth about Christ’s purpose and plan is the bigger bait that is offered to them by the fishers of men, who are the teachers sent by Yahweh.

Those foreordained by God to grow into 60-fold fruit bearing will accept and desire and latch on to the bigger bait. They will begin to see the deeper teachings of truth, and they will be drawn to it. They will see that by doing the deeper truths they will grow spiritually. This is part of fishing for men. And these doers of the word will grow into the 60-fold level of growth known as “Doing.”

The bigger bait is the deeper truth which solves the “mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.” The big fish are those foreordained by God to respond to Him. They may grab the line and get hooked and try to run away from God like Jonah did for a season, but after God reels them in, they will do grand and glorious works as a testimony that the Father is real.

Some May Think This Is “Out There”

Some may not like this fish analogy. But they are Christ’s words, not mine. He wants us to fish for men, not minnows. This notwithstanding, He wants us to win souls for His sake. So how do you win someone who is destined to bear 100-fold fruit. Some will reach maturity and be like Paul, Peter and John? The answer: You cast out the biggest baits, the deepest truths. You cast before them the big truth that Christ has a plan to fulfill His purpose. And His purpose is to reproduce Himself in and through us. The “us” being those chosen by Him to become His manifested sons and daughters who will rule with Him on His throne during the 1,000-year reign of Christ. These will bear 100-fold fruit. This is “Being.”

Fishers of Men

Once landed, the big fish analogy is transposed into another extended metaphor: To become fishers of men. These future 100-folders “are the called according to His purpose.” These that He knew before, “He also did predestinate.” He gave them a destiny “to be conformed to the image of His Son” They will be just like Christ: that He might be the “first born among many brethren.” Those bearing 100-fold fruit believe that they have been predestinated, then called by Him and then justified, and then He glorified them. This has already happened in the mind of God (Romans 8: 28-30; Ephesians 1:4-5).

This vision of manifested sonship, 100-fold growth, is the “big bait.” Fully grown sons and daughters of God are His body with power. This vision contains the deep truths that the “big fish” are hungry for. When you arrive in these deeper waters, humility is needed, for this is heady stuff.

Christ sees us as already mature, for He “calls those things that be not as though they were” (Rom. 4:17). Therefore, Christ’s big fish are the Christians who have passed the stage and growth where they are not in this race to receive something for themselves. Rather they want to not just attain knowledge and things, but they desire to do and obey Christ’s new commandments. Obeying this commandment—“Follow me”—brings us closer to Him, for Christ said, “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love” (John 15:10). [There’s The Abiding—the new book that the Spirit is writing through this vessel.]

Abiding/continuing/staying in His love! What a promise our Head has given us! To stay in the kind of incomparable love that Christ is! We can abide in Him and He in us! And then His love will flow through us to His people, and He will show Himself that He is alive by the movement of His Spirit—through us! Those whom He has chosen will think on these things, for they are His thoughts, not our thoughts.

When we think on His purpose, when our thoughts about His kingdom are first and foremost in our meditations, when we give His testimony—from the cross to the Throne with us seated with Him—This Is the Spirit of prophecy! These are the things in the future that His true prophets speak of. “The testimony of Jesus/Yahshua is the spirit of prophecy.” God’s prophets today speak of Christ’s testimony as to the fulfilling of His purpose and plan. God’s Will Is His Desire for Unity

This is God’s will: His desire is that all of His sons and daughters come to the “unity of the faith” (Eph. 4:13). He does not want a church house filled with a “unity” drenched in error. He desires His sheep to have the same mind of Christ, to have His purpose. When we all come to that stage of spiritual growth, we will have the unity that is His will.

But right now, as the world burns, there is no unity of the faith in Christian circles. It is because there are many faiths, many concepts of who Christ is and what He wants us to do. Every denomination shares their faith, not His faith. The problem is that there are 2,200 faiths, one for each of them. Moreover, millions in the pews do not even agree with their church on doctrine. All this spreads even more disunity.

It is God’s will that Christ’s body, the church, be in unity. It is His desire. Man’s wisdom has the laity judging other churches and giving up on them for not believing like they do. They separate from those of different persuasions instead of trying to come to unity. The secret to this problem is that it takes the humbling presence of the true Spirit of Christ for us to come to the unity of His faith.

Unity in Christ

Unity in Christ is the goal for the offices of God. There are five, and their names sound very familiar—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. But the five offices that Paul speaks of are not found in almost all the church houses. The Father has given these five offices to the body of Christ for three specific tasks: “For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith…unto a perfect man [spiritually mature Christian like Paul himself]…unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:11). Or, until we become like Christ! The false offices will reject the Spirit’s words through the apostle Paul and try to refute His will, His desire!

The five offices are to help the church come to full maturity. That ministry is Christ gathering “together in one [unity] all things in Christ (Eph. 1:10). These five offices are also for the building up of the members of the body of Christ.

We are to endeavor “to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Eph. 4:3). This “unity of the Spirit” is shown in the seven unities that make up the unity of the Spirit. There is “one body.” And that is the spiritual body of Christ. This is not the many bodies of Christ found in man’s organizations. Also, there is “one Spirit.” “God is a Spirit.” Only one. One hope of our calling. “One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Eph. 4:3-6).

The above is a description of one of the Father’s main desires. It is a great part of his will. God has made known the “mystery of his will according to His purpose” (Eph. 1:9-10). The eternal purpose of God is to bring all things into the unity of Christ. This Oneness is not something that our Father forces on people. He does not coerce anyone to first repent from sin, faults, and shortcomings.

The mystery is that we received from Him this destiny before our debut here on earth (Eph.1:5). This was “according to the good pleasure of his will.” This is all accomplished in the beginning, in the record, the testimony of “the book of life.” In God’s thinking, His desire, His will, has already taken place. Come Out from Among Them and Touch Not the Unclean Teachings

Most Christians feel like they have had an epiphany. God has shown them something that has convinced them that God is real and that He is their Father. And they know that it is through His Son Jesus Christ [in English speaking realms] that our salvation is possible. All of this is a good beginning.

But that is about it in most denominations concerning spiritual growth. Oh, we have the charismatics and Pentecostals who try to experience what the early apostles had. Some of them, however, are soon shipwrecked by storms of sin and lack of His knowledge.

And we have those who are the legalistic brethren, whose leaders provide hoops to jump through for the laity–pay your ties and offerings, come to church regularly. However, they fail to see that they are “buying a stairway to heaven.” And then, there are those who fall for the scam of the prosperity doctrine, as if God’s physical blessings can be bought with a hundred dollar bill. And many more.

So, there some sit. Frustrated and alone in a religious crowd. Stilted and stunted. Not knowing what God wants them to do. They are stymied because their pastors, priests and preachers have led them astray–because they do not know the way themselves. “If the blind lead the blind, they both fall into the ditch,” Christ said. They do not see God’s purpose nor his plan to accomplish his purpose. They know that Christ and His love plays a big part in life’s story, but they are blind to the bigger picture–the vision that God has for his world. This does not surprise God; He is the Author of the book.

It is all written down in the scriptures of truth, the Holy Bible, the best seller of all time. This sacred book says that Christians all over who seek God will find Him. And He will break the chains of sin that holds their hearts in frustration and captivity. And He will reveal Himself to certain seekers. But they will not be reached in cavernous church buildings that reverberate with “Christian rock music” [oxymoron of the year]. Nor will they be reached in the hushed tombs of Catholic cathedrals nor Protestantism’s church houses.

No, the true seekers will be reached by the quiet words spoken and written down by His teachers, pastors, evangelists, prophets, and apostles. Not the Sunday school teachers who sincerely endeavor to please God but are stifled by doctrinal errors.

Yah’s teachers know His purpose. They know His plan to accomplish His purpose. They are sent by Him to explain that purpose and plan; that is their job. And His purpose is this: He is Love, and He is reproducing Himself—in us, His chosen ones [His elect].

Teaching truth is a thankless task. Just ask Peter, James, John, and Paul. I remember an early truism taught us at the beginning of our missionary days: “There is nothing in this for you.” Meaning: “You are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.” That was some heavy words for a “babe in Christ” some fifty years ago. But “I can see clearly now.”

May we all continue to seek Yah’s face. His face is the Anointed One’s face. The prophet Daniel saw His face. It was “as the appearance of lightning, and His eyes as lamps of fire” (Daniel 10:6, 5-9). The apostle John saw His face, also. “His eyes were as a flame of fire” (Revelation 1:14, 13-16). Enter Through the Narrow Gate

How do you and I enter the spiritual dimension that Moses, Elijah, Peter, John, and Paul walked in? Being freed from sin and being born from above is peeking into this dimension, but walking in it is a much more powerful glory. They performed the impossible with God’s help. And yet, they were human beings like you and me. They walked and talked on this earth as you and I do. Yet, they entered the Dimension of Miracles, where “all things are possible.”

I do not speak of every day small miracles of life on this planet—the complex, intricate beauty of a butterfly, the perfect mix of atmospheric gases that we breathe, a Big Sur sunset, a baby’s smile. Those are beautiful things, but I speak of God’s spiritual dimension, with its stupendous, dumbfoundingly impossible miracles like raising the dead and healing cerebral palsy and leprosy—the kinds of miracles that tax incredulous eyes.

Again, how do we enter this realm? We enter it through the “narrow gate.” To get through it, we must repent of false teachings about Christ. And then as we incorporate the seven additions to the faith, “an entrance shall be ministered unto [us] abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior…” (2 Peter 1:11). Christ has promised us that by adding the seven attributes of His divine nature, we walk through the entrance into the spiritual dimension, the dimension of miracles that is called the Kingdom of God.

The Narrow Gate

How do we enter the spiritual realm that Moses, Elijah, and Peter and John walked in? Christ said, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it” (Matt. 7:13). “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matt. 7:13-4). “Few,” not many.

The Narrow Gate does not allow for baggage. There is just enough room for a Christian to barely squeeze in. “Baggage” is a symbol of the false doctrines that are stored throughout the old life and the false teachings about Christ attained after we first come to Him.

Take Moses for example. He lost everything. He was raised in the courts of Pharaoh as an Egyptian prince. He was educated in the pagan religion of Egypt. But God was calling him to “a better country,” a heavenly country (Heb. 11:16). But to get into the Dimension of Miracles he would have to totally lose his old life and position. Banished from Egypt, he went from a prince to a peasant in the desert, herding sheep and goats for forty years. He was learning to wait on Yahweh. He waited forty years and purged out the old false doctrines while learning of God’s ways. Then in his 80th year, Yahweh appeared to him in the burning bush. There he received his marching orders to fulfill his heavenly calling.

During those forty years in the desert, Moses had to get rid of old concepts about God. He had to repent and turn from the wisdom of the world and the religions of the world. He had to repent of anything that was in error concerning God’s plan [The book of Jasher].

Moses was entering God’s miraculous dimension through a process of repentance and faith toward God. Moses was entering by the narrow gate. It was difficult. Moses was one of the few to find it. He grew spiritually into a vessel that God could use to free and to lead His people.

Strive to Enter

But it took toughness. Christ commands us: “Strive to enter in at the narrow gate.” To strive is to struggle and fight to enter the Kingdom [the Dimension of the Spirit]. It’s not easy. Just ask Moses or any of the prophets and apostles. They were rejected by the world as their concepts of God were purified.

We also must struggle, “For many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in and shall not be able.” At the last moment, many will be trying to get through the narrow gate, but they won’t be able to. Time has run out because the master of the house has closed the door. They will knock, but He will not open the door, the narrow gate. He will say, I don’t know who you are, and then they will say, “We’ve eaten and drunk in your presence and you’ve taught in our streets.” And we have taught in your name. But the master will say, I don’t know you. “Depart from Me all you workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God and you yourselves thrust out” (Luke 13:24-28). That will be a sad day.

To approach the narrow gate, we must repent of false teachings and false doctrines. Then by adding the seven additions to the faith—by faith—we will enter through the narrow gate. Then He will bid us to come and learn of Him.

When we add these seven attributes to our faith, “an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting Kingdom” (II Pet. 1:11). God will teach us His way into the full orbed shekinah glory of His very presence within us. Hallelujah! Praise Yah!

Renewing Our Minds Changes Us

To renew our mind—how do we do it? We do it by adding Christ’s divine thoughts to our faith.

Peter tells us to “gird up the loins of your mind” (I Peter 1:13). The first item of the armor of God is to stand, “having your loins girt about with truth” (Eph. 6:14). Every Christian knows that the truth is in Christ. But the young Christian [and the old as well] has thoughts and concepts about Christ that are not Christ’s thoughts.

The apostles were writing to Christians who evidently needed to have their concepts of Christ’s gospel straightened out. Or they would not have been receiving those letters to the churches. It is the same today. The spiritual battleground is in the mind. We are led by our thoughts.

And God has given us the power to chase negative thoughts away and banish false concepts out of our minds. When our thinking has been purged and cleansed, then we will have been transformed, or changed. How is one transformed? “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove [discern, reckon as genuine] what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Rom. 12:2). We will be able to know what God’s perfect will is and how to walk in it. But our minds must be free from false doctrines. That is how the renewal begins.

Definition of Renew

To renew means “to make new again.” You mean, our minds were new once upon a time, and then they got sullied, and now they await a cleansing and a restoration to the purity they once held?

Could this “renewing of our minds” entail us thinking what Christ thought? We are admonished to let Christ’s mind be in us (Phil. 2:5). Think like Christ thinks. Let Christ’s mind be in you. You mean we must allow it to reside in us? We do this by moving out our old thoughts to make room for the new thoughts, which are Christ’s thoughts, thoughts that require faith/belief.

So what did he think about? He thought of the invisible heavenly things, not the things consumed by the five senses. “Take no thought for your life,” your visible earthly life (Matt. 6:25-31). He was submissive to the father in all things and taught us to do the same. In so doing, he was humble, giving glory and praise to the Father.

We must “let” His mind take over our mind. To do this we must know the plan and purpose of God. Christ always said, “I must be about my Father’s business” (Luke 2:49). He always did those things that pleased the Father.

Knowing the true plan and purpose of God is a big chore, but what is bigger is eliminating the old desires we had for our lives– our plans and schemes, our dreams for our own little futures. And they are little “compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us.” Our old lives are but “dung” compared to eternally being at His side.

The Cross

Christ always taught His followers to repent from sin. This is the first step in getting rid of the false concepts about Christ. It is the cross that puts to death our old sinful selves, along with its desires, and enables us to “be raised to walk in a newness of life.” This shows us where our old thoughts were leading us and where the thoughts of God now bid us come.

First, we must get to that place of submission. We must leave the old life at the cross and take on Christ’s mission, which is establishing His Kingdom of love and righteousness throughout the earth and sharing his throne with his elect. That takes much study and prayer.

All this is for those human beings who renew their minds with Christ’s thoughts and are changed from selfish sinners into compassionate monarchs, soon ruling with Christ in His Kingdom right here upon earth. “To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne…” (Rev. 3:21).

Two Outpourings of the Spirit—One “Good,” One “Bad”

[Continued from 4-5-22]

In the dream, the Voice coming through my mouth shouted, “I will pour My Spirit upon all flesh! UPON ALL FLESH! Through study, I discovered that the Spirit at Pentecost was not poured out on “all flesh” present that day in Jerusalem. It was only poured out on His servants and handmaidens, the disciples of that era. Here the scene is painted (Joel 2:28-32; Acts 2:17-21).

Both renditions contain two different and distinct visions of how the Spirit will be poured out. In Joel 2:28-29 and Acts 2:17-18 we see the blessed outpouring on His servants. Reading on in the very next verses, we see another kind of outpouring. Yahweh says, “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD [Yahweh] come” (Joel 2:30-31).

That day will not be nice day for many. In both prophetic passages, there are two vastly different outpourings. The first section reveals the baptism of the Holy Spirit that will take place during the “time of the end.” The second part of that prophetical flow reveals a pouring out of natural disasters and “acts of God,” a day of gloom and terror (Joel 2: 30- 31). This day of terror is when Yahweh has His angel pour out the vials of wrath. This shows us that both the latter day pouring forth of the Spirit and the pouring out of the vials of wrath happen at basically the same time in history—our time. The Upper Room pouring out of the Spirit was a type and shadow of what will take place on the earth at the beginning of “the time of the end” (Dan. 12:1). We are living in that time.

Christ warns us of that time (Matthew 24:15, 21- 22, 29). The pouring out of His Spirit that brings power from on high happens first. But not every human being will be so blessed.

But Joel, right after the first outpouring of His Spirit, speaks of a universal scourge. Christ calls it the pouring forth of the vials of wrath. How ghastly that will be for all the inhabitants of the earth. For all will see the sun “turned to darkness before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.”

Some will say that the outpouring can only mean the baptism of the Holy Spirit like on the day of Pentecost. However, the scriptures are very clear that “all things are of God” (2 Cor. 5:18). And because “God is a Spirit,” then “all things are of the Spirit” (John 4:24). Even the pouring forth of the wrath of God upon all flesh [except those spared for the elect’s sake]. Yes, the elect, the sons and daughters of God will be on earth during tribulation.

He says, “Pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.” After all seven vials are poured out, “a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne [said], It is done” (Rev. 16:1. 17). This pouring out of God’s wrath is heavy stuff. It is the destruction of the world system, including the Battle of Armageddon (v. 16). This is major end time misery for mankind and runs parallel with the outpouring of God’s Spirit upon His chosen ones.

The Former and Latter Rains

The pouring out of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost partially fulfilled the prophecy spoken by Joel and it was confirmed by the apostle Peter. We have seen that the Spirit was poured on “all flesh” that were prepared for this happening. It did not fall on everyone in Jerusalem that day.

This partial outpouring of the Spirit has been called the “former rain.” The Hebrew word translated “former rain” means “teacher of righteousness.” The Spirit moved them to teach this gospel throughout the Mediterranean world. Christ did promise us that the Spirit “shall be in you” (John 14: 17). He also promised that the Holy Spirit “shall teach you all things…” (John 14: 26). Furthermore, the Spirit “will guide you into all truth” (John 16: 13).

The Holy Spirit, teaching righteousness through the apostles, was that former rain. This has gone on for the past 2000 years. You and I know Christ because of the early apostles’ work. The beauty of this event is captured in the poetry of Hosea:

“Then shall we know, if we follow on to know Yahweh: His going forth is prepared as the morning; And He shall come unto us as the rain, As the latter and the former rain unto the earth” (6:3).

He shall come to us as the former rain, as the teachings of righteousness. He is pouring His Spirit over our minds and hearts, and it will teach us and prepare us for the latter rain. The latter rain will fall on us at or near the “time of the end.” It will fall upon those who are prepared to bear 100-fold spiritual growth (Matt. 13:3-9; 18-23).

For the righteousness shared by the “former rain” apostles will engender growth in us to be sustained in these latter days. For they spoke of our time, the time when our exiled King returns to this earth to establish righteousness and peace and judgment in the earth. Brothers and sisters, that’s what we’re working for. We do not believe anything into existence. We just believe what Christ believes.

The latter rain will fall through the teaching of apostles and prophets that God is raising up. They will teach righteousness and the truth about our King. They will raise up many princes and princesses and Yahweh will wipe the slate of the earth clean. It is all there in the book, The Revelation of Jesus Christ, our King.

This shows that God pours from His mind His plan according to the record in heaven. He pours forth out of his Spirit, what we would call the “good” and the “bad.” We need only think about Pentecost and Him pouring out the vials of wrath. Yahweh spoke in the dream: “I will pour My Spirit upon all flesh. UPON ALL FLESH!” We see that these words are not only precious promises of personal spiritual growth, but also a dire warning of His displeasure and a subsequent cleansing of evil from the earth.
