In the Beginning Was the Seed—Part Two

(Knowing Christ from the beginning is the key to maximum spiritual growth)

Knowing Him from the beginning is so profound that we need to slow down—way down—in our perusal of its meaning. We must not rush past this truth in hot pursuit of more knowledge. Knowing Him from the beginning is deep, though it is taught in the simplest of words: seed, garden, sow, reap, harvest. Our Savior used these very words to bring Light to our eyes. We must slow down and savor His words of inspiration. We must not bolt this food, for this is “strong meat.”

The apostle John writes to little children, young men, and fathers—30, 60 and 100-fold fruit-bearing Christians. “I write unto you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning” (I John 2:13). The fathers know that God is the Word in the beginning. “And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:13). Fathers know Him who is from the beginning. They know that all those who receive the Word/Seed are regenerated from the Seed/Son, who is the impetus of all life. God/Spirit/Word/Seed was at the beginning of everything. And we are in Him; we are inside the Seed! Therefore, we were in the Seed at the beginning, too!

A Seed, a Promise

A seed is a promise of the fruit to come. We receive the seed, having not seen the future fruit. It is a word of promise, a covenant, a pact, that if you take the Seed and believe the word of promise, then you will bear “fruit, more fruit, and much fruit.” This is 30, 60, and 100-fold growth explained.

Christ is the Seed. His earthly life is an enactment of the spiritual seed reality. Christ, the Son of God, is the Seed that is planted in us humans. We are the spiritual seed bed, that the Seed/Son is planted into. “The seed is the word of God.” Christ is the Sower; He sows the word of His promises into our hearts. When we walk with Christ in a higher growth, we are a part of His spiritual body. We become one with the Sower as we begin to sow the seed, the word of God.

All this is activated by faith–His faith. He believes in this spiritual miracle that changes us. He believes and has faith that what He has instituted will stand forever. When we take the leap of faith, we are really beginning to believe what the Son believes. He has faith that we will change and witness in us His glory.

Look at us! Despite our pitiful weaknesses, Christ believes in His own word of power to change us. We just need to ask Him for the strength to believe what He believes. And this power is not just about our earthen vessels. Upon His return to earth, those who are walking in 100-fold growth will wield power, executing His will for the earth.     

When we bear witness to the testimony of the Seed/Son, we will have explained and walked in 100-fold fruit bearing growth. The caveat is that the closer we get to bearing much fruit, the more persecution we can expect from our adversary the devil. For he does not want this truth out there. The word “testimony” is translated from the Greek word martyria. “Death works in us” (II Cor. 4:12).

The Seed Must Die

But the seed must die when planted. Christ in His earthly ministry did it all. He raised the dead and healed the sick, by the thousands. With His power He could have called down ten thousand angels to take over the world, but He didn’t. Why? Because in His first advent, He was the Seed, not the harvest. He had to die because seeds must die and lose their identity to bear fruit.

“Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit” (John 12:24 KJV). In another version: “Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds” (NIV).  Christ, the Son of God, is the kernel of wheat that had to die to bring forth “many sons unto glory.”

The harvest of “many sons” is fast approaching. His sons and daughters are rising out of the long-neglected seed beds and are springing forth into the Light. Like blades of corn, they have bent toward the Light. They are expanding their roots into the moist earth, and they are now hungry for the pure spiritual nutrients needed for their growth.

The sons and daughters of God will grow until the time of the harvest, which is fast approaching. The evil seed is planted and grows alongside the wheat. It is careening and stomping through God’s field of wheat, crushing some good fruit in the process.

Satan, the god of this present world system, “knows that he has but a short time” before the harvest. He is marshaling his forces, pushing toward that day when–he thinks–he will be crowned the god of all creation. It is the same spirit that was in the garden of Eden, the same irritant that Yahweh allowed to strut on to the world stage, the same “accuser of the brethren,” who is the deceiver in charge of this world system. But His word promises this: “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a Kingdom, which shall never be destroyed… it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms and it shall stand forever” (Daniel 2:44). That is His word of promise. It’s the Kingdom. That is the “mind of Christ.” It is what the King thinks on. The Kingdom is the gospel, the good news (Matthew 4:23; 24:14; Mark 4:14). It is what we are to seek first. He is asking us to think on these deeper truths, truths that, when obeyed, will make His will our will.      Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Abraham, Faith, and the City of God

(An excerpt from Chapter 29 of  The Apostles’ Doctrine)

Abraham “looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God” (Heb. 11: 10). He looked by faith. God appeared to Him several times and told him about New Jerusalem. And Abraham believed God, having never seen the city. “And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God” (James 2: 23). God’s friend looked for God’s city. If we want to be God’s friend, we better start looking for the heavenly city. We better study it out thoroughly. We better start walking this faith walk like New Jerusalem really exists.

Faith Is the Only Path to the Invisible God

Abraham looked for the heavenly city because he believed God. He had “faith toward God,” which happens to be the second of the apostles’ doctrines. Faith is being assured of something’s existence before seeing the evidence that it indeed exists. Believing before seeing (Heb. 11: 1).

But this world lies in deception. It is designed to lure every human who is striving and seeking God to rely only on their five senses for their reality. God transcends our five senses, which are like five blind guides falling with their patrons into a ditch. Furthermore, citizens of the five-senses-world rush to rescue us every time we get a little closer to God by exclaiming, “Come to your senses!” How deceived some are, for they do not understand that God is not in the ceremonies that you see, nor canned chants you hear, nor burning incense you can smell, nor wafers you can taste, nor hymnals and trays you can touch. He can only be grasped by faith.

So, like our father Abraham, we are to look for this New Jerusalem. It is what we are to seek after, just like the father of our faith and the other prophets did. This grand and glorious city, located on the real estate of old Jerusalem, will be our home and will be the governmental offices and throne of our King Yahshua.

This is what the story of the Hebrews is all about. And this Kingdom will bring to the earth the peace and love that we all have desired for thousands of years. It is a peace that only the Prince of Peace can bring. Un-regenerated man cannot bring peace to this earth. He has had 6,000+ years to get it done, but he has only left misery in his wake. Christ will get it done; that is the gospel, the good news—Christ the King bringing in His Kingdom that will correct the wrongs and bring judgement upon the evil doers, thus paving the way for peace and prosperity.

This is what we are working for. This is the only thing worth working for. For “all is vanity and vexation of spirit.” All else is fruitless and futile in the end. Nothing else will stand. All things besides His Kingdom will crumble and dissolve into the sands of time.

The sad part is that the masses will not cry unto God for His return to earth until they have lost everything. Historically in the Old Testament, the Israelites waited until they were conquered and made destitute by a foreign power before they cried to Yahweh. Then He would send them a man of God to be their champion. We in the West are living on borrowed time, for all our governments have borrowed trillions of dollars and are in debt to international bankers. It is only a matter of time before we go belly up. Then we will cry unto God for deliverance. Hate to say it, but history is a strict teacher of the truth. We all will reap what we have sown. The sands of time are running out.

We are told to “walk by faith, not by sight.” Christians can only do this by believing His word to us: “I will dwell in them, and walk in them” (II Cor. 5:7; 6:16). Where are we walking to? God’s Will Is His Desire for Unity

This is God’s will: His desire is that all of His sons and daughters come to the “unity of the faith” (Eph. 4:13). He does not want a church house filled with a “unity” drenched in error. He desires His sheep to have the same mind of Christ, to have His purpose. When we all come to that stage of spiritual growth, we will have the unity that is His will.

But right now, as the world burns, there is no unity of the faith in Christian circles. It is because there are many faiths, many concepts of who Christ is and what He wants us to do. Every denomination shares their faith, not His faith. The problem is that there are 2,200 faiths, one for each of them. Moreover, millions in the pews do not even agree with their church on doctrine. All this spreads even more disunity.

It is God’s will that Christ’s body, the church, be in unity. It is His desire. Man’s wisdom has the laity judging other churches and giving up on them for not believing like they do. They separate from those of different persuasions instead of trying to come to unity. The secret to this problem is that it takes the humbling presence of the true Spirit of Christ for us to come to the unity of His faith.

Unity in Christ

Unity in Christ is the goal for the offices of God. There are five, and their names sound very familiar—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. But the five offices that Paul speaks of are not found in almost all the church houses. The Father has given these five offices to the body of Christ for three specific tasks: “For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith…unto a perfect man [spiritually mature Christian like Paul himself]…unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:11). Or, until we become like Christ! The false offices will reject the Spirit’s words through the apostle Paul and try to refute His will, His desire!

The five offices are to help the church come to full maturity. That ministry is Christ gathering “together in one [unity] all things in Christ (Eph. 1:10). These five offices are also for the building up of the members of the body of Christ.

We are to endeavor “to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Eph. 4:3). This “unity of the Spirit” is shown in the seven unities that make up the unity of the Spirit. There is “one body.” And that is the spiritual body of Christ. This is not the many bodies of Christ found in man’s organizations. Also, there is “one Spirit.” “God is a Spirit.” Only one. One hope of our calling. “One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Eph. 4:3-6).

The above is a description of one of the Father’s main desires. It is a great part of his will. God has made known the “mystery of his will according to His purpose” (Eph. 1:9-10). The eternal purpose of God is to bring all things into the unity of Christ. This Oneness is not something that our Father forces on people. He does not coerce anyone to first repent from sin, faults, and shortcomings.

The mystery is that we received from Him this destiny before our debut here on earth (Eph.1:5). This was “according to the good pleasure of his will.” This is all accomplished in the beginning, in the record, the testimony of “the book of life.” In God’s thinking, His desire, His will, has already taken place. He with great patience waits on us to walk in His will, which is His desire. We must make our desires His desires. This is walking in His will.       Kenneth Wayne Hancock

King David—A Man After God’s Own Heart

Oh, to have our Savior say that about us! What did David say or do to garner such a testimony from the Father? For God “gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart.” David was “after” God’s heart; he was in accordance with God’s desire. But most stop right there when quoting this passage. However, God continues in the next breath, “which shall fulfill all my will.”

These last six words of Acts 13:22 are revelatory. King David is a man after God’s own heart because God knew that David would fulfill all of God’s will. He would champion all of His desires. AndGod desired to have His name glorified through the destruction of Goliath.

God would use the giant as a symbol of the evil world system headed by Satan. Goliath would come on as an undefeatable foe, too big and powerful to conquer and destroy. I am talking about the current world system in which we live. They have it sowed up. The system is rigged, and it looks like they are going to win. Remember how the Israelites said that the “giants are too big” to try to conquer.

David, a Type of God’s Elect Today

Then God would use David, a “stripling,” a “ruddy” complexioned youth, to battle the giant. David loved Yahweh, and it showed. God wanted Goliath confronted and killed. No soldier in Israel’s army stepped up to fight him; they were all afraid. At this, David said, “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” Then David said to King Saul, “Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.” [Look at David’s belief in Yahweh.]

“And Saul said to David, You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him, for thou art but a youth and he a man of war from his youth.” [This is the unbelief of the world.]

Then David tells of his adventures in killing a lion and a bear to protect his flock of sheep. “Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear, and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” [David has had experiences of doing battles with God by His side.]

You know the rest of the story (I Sam. 17:32-54). David defends the God of Israel and says to Goliath, “You come to me with a sword and with the spear and shield, but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of host, the God of the armies of Israel whom you have defied. This day will Yahweh deliver you into my hand, and I will smite you, and take your head from you, and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, unto the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that Yahweh saves not with sword and spear, for the battle is Yahweh’s, and he will give you into our hands.”

This miraculous defeat of Goliath by a mere youth has been discussed by people for over 3,000 years, thus fulfilling the purpose of God: “That all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” And this same God shall return on a white horse in magnificence and shall call to the “fowls of the air” to come to the “supper of the great God; that ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains and the flesh of mighty men…” (Rev. 19:11-18).” [Note David’s statement about giving the carcasses of the Philistine army “to the fowls of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth.” His words are a living prophecy as to what will happen to all who follow the beast system at the time of the end.

David is a type of the elect of God for these end times. Satan’s world looks too big, too corrupt, too unbeatable. But the elect sons and daughters will rise and answer their calling like David did. Only this time it won’t be with a physical sling, stone, and sword.

It will be a spiritual battle. We will put on the spiritual armor of God. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but… against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph. 6:12). Our battle today is with satanic spirits who rule the masses here on earth. The time of their deliverance draws nigh. “And saviors shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S” (Obadiah 1:21). [Christ called out and exposed the “mount of Esau” in John 8:44.]

It is our honor—you and me—to be used by Yahweh to do His will like David did. He answered the call and set the precedent for us today. David’s faith in our God Yahweh is palpably stirring. He tells the bully Goliath that he is fighting Yahweh. This is the same faith that Christ walked in, the faith of the Son of God. Study this belief in Yahweh that David walked in and spoke of. Study it good, for it holds the keys to becoming “a man after God’s own heart” (That goes for women, also, for “He called their name Adam.”). David believed that it was God’s fight and that he was the vessel that God was using. No pride. David was defending the name and honor of His God, as well as defending God’s army. He was doing the will of God.

Eating Christ’s Flesh—Pre-requisite to the Abiding

Eating Christ’s flesh? Uh, that is some heavy stuff, Wayneman. Especially when you use the verb “eat.” That word triggers my mouth into getting involved with ingesting food. But eating Christ’s flesh? And drinking His blood? Really? How are we supposed to do that?

Well, Christ does say, “Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, you have no life in you” (John 6:53). It is this everlasting life that defines Christ’s abiding in us. He promised that He would abide and dwell in us if we ate His flesh and drank His blood.

Some people today will react to this statement the way many did 2,000 years ago. It was this very teaching that separated the sheep from the goats. “From that time many of his disciples went back and walked no more with Him” (6:66). How serious was this situation? After witnessing many miracles and just being with Him, they could not handle the eating of His flesh and the drinking of His blood. They thought that He had gone too far with His mysterious sayings.

What was their problem? Christ said that it was their unbelief (6:64). But unbelief of what exactly? It was unbelief in anything that their eyes could not see. All they saw was the flesh of His body. They were looking after the flesh and not after the spirit. To understand this enigmatic passage, we must look on his “flesh” and “blood” after the spirit. Christ said as much: it is the spirit that quickens” (6:63). We must catch the “spirit of the thing” to understand it.

What spiritual action is taking place with His earthly body and blood? Ironically, we must look at Christ’s flesh body and blood after the spirit. The spirit makes His teachings come alive. Eating His flesh and drinking his blood are metaphors, not literal, material things to do. We must look to the spiritual applications of what His flesh and blood did on the cross.

The Flesh and the Blood—What Did They Do at the Cross?

Christ made an extremely important statement. “Except you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in you.” Obviously, we cannot consume the flesh of His physical body cannibalistically. What then does his “flesh” signify? It is a metaphor for the final act that His physical body performed. That act was Christ laying down his physical body unto death. The eating of his flesh is us believing what the sacrifice of His body did for us all. It is believing that His death on the cross and His subsequent resurrection of that physical body, served to take our sins totally away. His flesh dying as a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world is the bread of life. It is what we are to take in/eat/and digest—spiritually.

Christ is called the Lamb of God for this very reason. All our sins were laid upon His body. Our sins were placed upon the Lamb. He was our scapegoat offering. When His flesh body died, our sins died with Him. When His blood was shed, the life of sin died that day on the cross.

“Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins” (Heb. 9:22). “He was made to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him” (II Cor. 5:21). He was our pure Passover Lamb, crucified, and with his crucifixion, sin died that day. All we must do is just believe it. When His flesh body died, our old sinful selves died with Him. And “he that is dead is freed from sin.” The lifeblood of our sin is drained away with Christ’s blood.

When we were baptized in water, “we were baptized into His death.” When Christ’s sacrificial flesh and blood died, our old sinful self died with Him, “that the body of sin might be destroyed.” We are free! We are new creatures in Christ (Romans 6:1-12).

When we believe what the death of His flesh body and the shedding of His blood did for us, then we will have eaten and drunk His blood. These figures of speech mean that we have taken into our hearts the love that He expressed to us. We must not corrupt the “simplicity that is in Christ” (II Cor. 11:3). Beware of those who would beguile you to follow the path of transubstantiation. God is Spirit, not material and physical. He does not live in a lifeless wafer and a sip of wine.

Where Do We Find Virtue to Add to Our Faith?

Chapter 24 of New Book Additions to the Faith Scheduled to Be Published Next June

Christ wants us to bear much fruit. That means spiritual growth. We do that by adding attributes of His “divine nature” to His faith, His belief system. The first element is to add virtue.

But how do we add virtue? How do we add any of the elements of the divine nature? We add them by realizing that it is not something that is coming to us from without, from outside of us. It is coming to us from something that is within us, if so be that we have risen with Christ spiritually [1].

The addition of virtue happens when we understand that it is a component of Christ’s divine nature. He is not adding it to weak flawed characters who still believe that they are sinners. That is not Christ’s belief system that He has given His friends. That is not His faith [2].

We are spiritual members of the body of Christ. And Christ contains all seven attributes already. When we “put on Christ,” we will have added virtue because virtue is part of His nature; it is part of Him [3]. {This in bold is crucial knowledge that He has given us! Prove it out and then believe it with your whole heart. And then you will feel His Spirit grow within you. We are dead, and our new life is hidden with Christ in God. And His life is full of virtue, moral goodness, vigor, and power. But it takes faith—His faith—to believe it. This is what the Spirit through Peter meant when He said to add to our faith virtue through agape love [4].

We miss the mark when we try to add spiritual components of Christ’s divine nature to flawed and immature concepts of how Christ works. It is only when we believe and recognize that “it is no longer I that lives but Christ that lives in me.” And now I live “by the faith (belief system) of our Savior Christ [5].

Christ adds more of his divine nature to us as we judge our old nature dead and our new nature in Christ alive in us. We have the one faith when we believe that Christ lives in us and brings with him the seven additions, the first of which is his moral goodness and power—virtue [6].

Sowing the Seed, the Word of Our Testimony

Several of my readers have wondered, “How do I get this truth out into the public square? How do I find the sincere seekers of truth? The most effective and exhilarating is face to face. One on one is fine if you’re not fighting the cell phone and other interrupters. There is another way, a way that I have witnessed as an observer and a testifier.

This is something you can do. How do we personally reach those who are hungry for this light, famished for the deeper walk? We go to where they are. We go to the church houses who have an “open mike.”  They will ask for testimonies. This is where you stand up and tell them your testimony. That is what Yahshua and His apostles did. They went to the synagogues and spoke.

How does this work? Which churches do we visit? Usually in charismatic, “full gospel,” Assembly of God, Pentecostal, and “Bible” independent churches do you see this “calling for testimonies.” The goers have left the mainstream denominations, and a few are looking for a deeper walk with the Savior.

He has given us much knowledge. So, what do we share during our two minutes? Christ is our example. Christ’s opening message was always, “Repent.” Of course, to stand up and just say, “Repent,” will not do it. It is better to give a testimony of how repentance has worked in your own life, how your sins and sinful heart died with Christ on the cross, and how you were buried with Him and how by believing in His resurrection, you now have been raised to walk in a newness of life. You are telling them that you are a living example of repentance found in Romans 6:1-12.

“For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin because anyone who has died has been set free from sin…” (6:6-8 NIV). “For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God…” (Col. 3:3).

You have seen “Romans 6” in many of my writings. It contains the cross message, which is what the world needs. The cross is where the old selfish heart dies; it is the end of the sinful road for mankind. The message of the cross is the first of the apostles’ doctrine. It is what our Savior wants us to share. He will convict the heart that is ready. Our job is to deliver the message. The cross message is the powerful contact point for those seeking more than a religious social club. The cross and the resurrection walk [the second doctrine, Faith toward God] is the message.

Just tell them your story, your trip to the cross. And watch the miracle of another’s conversion come to you. For after you speak and the after the service, they will come and shake your hand. That is where you give them links to the reading material, perhaps a copy of one of the Immortality Road articles on the cross. Perhaps you would want to order your own business cards with your contact info along with the website address, etc. All avenues are open to you when you are doing the Father’s business. Yahshua said, “I must be about my father’s business.” and so should we be about His business. This is what He is doing. He is calling out His people to enter through the narrow gate. He is doing it through us, thus fulfilling his purpose of multiplying Himself.

Note: Most in the church houses do not want to go to the cross and let their old heart die. It is not a popular message. That is why the preachers don’t touch it. But when that one or two respond, a true ecclesia is born, as in where “two or three are gathered together in My name, there I am in the midst.”

The next step after gaining a portion of His knowledge is to share that knowledge. We do this by sowing the seed, the word, into the good ground, into the “good and honest hearts” of His people. And in so doing, we become an active part of His body, known as the Sower, who went forth to sow (Matthew 13).

This vessel is sowing right now. Through Yahweh’s grace, I have a song to sing that rushes down the corridors of light, illuminating the hearts of those He knew before the world began. “And they that impart wisdom shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever” (Dan. 12:3). That is our destiny and our calling, brothers and sisters. We just need to step out on the water.  Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Believing the Secrets of the Son’s Name

Man wrestles with God over belief. It is all about faith, or a lack of it. Hence, all will not believe the following words about belief. Yet these words are written down and are essential for the future 100-fold fruit bearers, the elect for these latter days. The following knowledge is crucial for those predestined to sit with Christ on His throne when He returns to earth: “To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne…” (Rev. 3:20). These following words are better swallowed and digested in small contemplative bites.

“Belief” and “faith” are translated from the same Greek word. Faith is being sure of the things that we hope for based on God’s promises to us. Belief/faith is also being certain of the things that cannot be seen (Heb. 11:1 NIV).

We are told to believe in God. But what does that mean exactly? Belief in God is believing the words of God spoken and written down. Try to believe something—anything–without putting it into words first. Our minds immediately formulate words to cradle our belief. Thoughts come to us in words. Consequently, we believe words. Belief cannot exist without words.

To express our belief that the sun will come up in the morning, we use words describing this ball of fire rising in the east. To believe in the truth, we must believe the words of truth. With this in mind, we read the words of the Spirit written down by the apostle John: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” (John 1:1).

In the Beginning Was the Word

There is something to be believed that existed from the very beginning. And that something is God, and He was and is a Spirit, and that invisible Spirit was comprised of words. For Christ said, “The words that I speak they are spirit, and they are life.” God wants us to believe in Him. Of course, he also knows that words are the things that are believed. Therefore, for belief to take place, something must be spoken or written in the form of words.

The spoken word has invisible spiritual qualities. Invisible because, like the wind, you can’t see them in the physical and natural sense. But also, like the wind, you can see and feel their effects on those in their path. Words spoken can destroy the hearer like a hurricane wind, but words can also comfort and cool like a summer breeze.

So, to believe God, we must believe the Word. For the Word was God, and the Word was in the beginning. And this Logos, this Eternal Thought/Word, who is the Father, “was made flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). This Anointed One (Christ) “has declared Him” (v. 18).

Christ’s life was the life of the Father—eternal life—and was read of all men who saw Him 2,000 years ago. And many millions afterward have believed His witness of just who the Word is. And the Word, the Son of God, spoke many words to us. To believe God, we must believe the words of the Word, who is God. For the Son of God is “the expressed image of the invisible God.” The Son expressed the words of the Word.

Again, for us to believe God, we must believe His words. There is a vast difference between saying, I believe God, and saying, I believe that there is a God. To believe God, one must believe His words, words that he declares about Himself and us. When He says, “Repent of your sins,” we must not only believe that it is possible with His help, but also mandatory as part of His initiation into His Kingdom. But to say, I believe that there is a God, is to speak hollow, lukewarm words that He will spue out of His mouth. “For even the devils believe in one God and tremble.”

Believing in the Name of the Son of God

[The following paragraphs are some of the secrets of the Almighty. The Spirit of Christ still speaks to us: “I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.” These are some of the “mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.” It is given unto the elect to know them. “Whosoever has [been chosen to receive the secrets and mysteries] to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance…” (Matthew 13:10-12).]

We are talking about believing God’s words. He that believes in Christ is not condemned. “But He that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18). Believing in Christ’s name is crucial. But how do we believe in His name? We saw above that “belief/faith” believes words. So, believing in His name is believing the message contained in His name.

Believing in His name is believing what His Hebrew name means. For the Son’s name has meaning! It literally means “Yah is the Savior.” Yahweh is the Father; He is a Spirit that dwells inside the Son; He is the Savior (Isa. 43:11; 45:21; Hosea 13:4). And our Savior’s Hebrew name is Yahshua, the same name of the patriarch Joshua–Yahshua. And it literally means “Yah saves or Yah is the Savior.

Christ’s Hebrew name is encased as one of the Father’s secrets. But they can be ours. For “the secrets of YHWH belong to them that are in reverential awe [fear] of Him.” This secret and many more are like tree ripened pears, ready for our hands to grasp them and hold them to our hungry lips. All we need do is to believe His words about His name.

Taking the Kingdom by Force—The Battle in the Heavenly Dimension

Last June I lay on my bed, meditating on how heaven was another dimension–how this spiritual dimension was God’s dwelling place. His presence was so close that afternoon that He was “at hand,” that He could literally be touched…For He said, “Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.” It is right here. I never truly understood that before. Then I drifted off.

Thirty minutes later I felt two thumps on my chest like when you tap someone to wake them up. I woke up. And then I knew that God rewarded my search for Him through the gentle taps on my chest. He wanted me to know that He heard me. He wanted to encourage me, for I had been having a tough week.

Some scriptures came to mind. “For we live, move, and have our being in him…” and, “Though He be not far from us…” ( Acts 17: 27-28; Col. 1: 17).

Crossing over

Christ beckons us to cross over from our current earthly, material dimension thinking into His spiritual, heavenly dimension. For heaven is that same spiritual dimension that Christ and his apostles walked in. That is where the healings are performed. That is where the staggering miracles reside. It is in that heavenly dimension where we will find all the power that Christ promised us.

Remember Christ’s words: “Even the Son of man which is in heaven” (John 3:13). He spoke these words standing on earth in a mortal body. Therefore, he was speaking about where His heart, mind and spirit were. He was speaking of “heaven” being the invisible spiritual dimension where the Spirit dwells.

How do we access that dimension? We must meditate on his words of promise that He has left us. We must believe His words. Faith is and has always been the key. How else does one approach an invisible Supreme Being except through belief, yet having not seen Him and His Kingdom and His dimension.

Crashing Through

For we must crash through the material worldly barrier that separates us from this wonderful, invisible Holy Spirit dimension. Christ did say that the “violent take the Kingdom by force” (Matt. 11:12). Why is there such a struggle in the destiny of God’s elect? The struggle is not with other humans. No, it’s a struggle in the spiritual dimension, of which we speak. We wrestle against powers that invisibly course through that spiritual Heavenly dimension.  [Satan is the Prince and power of the air].

[I know that I must seem insane, talking about invisible spirits intersecting our physical lives. But I am merely a teacher/reporter, sharing truths that, for some reason, have been shared with me by our Wonderful Father. These things are what Paul, John, James and Peter, as well as many more of Christ’s apostles, talked about. It is there in black and white.]

Into the Dragon’s Lair

We must understand that the spiritual land of miracles and great grace is, also, the battleground where we face the dragon. With this knowledge, references about war in the scriptures come into focus. “Fight the good fight of faith…” and, “the armor of God,” and “Endure hardness as a good soldier…” and “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds…”

This is the battle we are in as followers of Yahshua the Anointed One. Only those who overcome the spiritual battles will be counted worthy of sitting with Christ on his throne and being rulers over 10 cities in his Kingdom coming to this earth. I speak not of only salvation, which is wonderful. But we speak of the manifestation of the sons of God, of the 100 fold fruit bearing disciples spoken of in Revelation 14 and 7. We speak not of the little children of God, who are saved. There is so much more than being a dependent little “babe in Christ.” God has chosen those who will be strong and valiant, who will bear the brunt of battle with wicked, unseen, spiritual forces that lay before us to conquer, in this spiritual dimension. This is the challenge for the elect. This is what we must understand to know what is happening to us.

But through it all, God is close to us in His spiritual dimension. He beckons us to seek those things that are not seen and not seek those things that are seen. “While we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal” (II Cor. 4:18).

He calls many and chooses but a few, and He will give them a whiff of His spiritual dimension. And as they struggle to climatize and get their bearings in this new invisible land, God allows an evil entity that tries to convince us that “there is nothing to see here,” that “all things continue as they were” (II Peter 3:4).

The Garden of Eden Experience

It is the Garden of Eden experience again. The Garden is like God’s spiritual dimension. And He has allowed Satan to walk to and fro in it (Job 1). Satan tempts us with the fruit of the material, earthly dimension. Every temptation has to do with the physical and material, not the spiritual.

We have all heard the voice of the dark spirit, which is designed to discourage us. Satan is doing his job, ironically trying to detour us from coming to the spiritual dimension of God. Overcoming him strengthens us and brings new power in His spiritual realm.

The patriarchs, prophets, and apostles had experiences in the spiritual dimension. The signs, wonders, and miracles that intersected their lives show that there was another dimension at play.

As they overcame their adversaries, they received confirmation that God is real with His Spirit running through their hearts and minds.  Ah, but that is the problem for us today. Spiritually we want to eat the fat of the land without first conquering our spiritual enemies. We want to pluck and taste the grape without first seizing it from the nations of Canaan, without first conquering the land.

We must seek the Spirit with a whole heart. For there is “spiritual wickedness in high places.” Our fight is not with other human beings, but with “the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this Dark World and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Eph. 6:12). Yes, we heard right. Right now, as we read this, there are invisible, evil spirit/powers in the heavenly spiritual dimension, of which we speak!

Remember how the four beasts, the four evil world Gentile empires, are seated around the throne of God (Rev. 6:1; Dan. 7:3)? This is symbolic of them being in His plan all along. [Stay with me.]

God tells us to seek and you will find. Where do we seek? Answer: Seek His Spirit, our source of power in the heavenly dimension. That is where the power of God is. We must access His heavenly dimension, procure the power, and then go to spiritual war with the enemy spirit. We are to “seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness,” which is the heavenly dimension right now, right here on earth.

Christ said to not be concerned about things in the earthly realm, like food and clothing. We rather should be more concerned with the “spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

“We now are spiritual beings sojourning here in earthen vessels, and we have a problem. It concerns the “spiritual forces of evil” from the spiritual dimension. They cross over into our earthly fleshly dimension and attack us. But they can only attack us if we are caught up in earthly dimensional concerns, the “cares of this life,” as the Master said. The Spirit through the apostle Paul calls this looking after the flesh and not after the Spirit.

These evil spirits come from the spiritual dimension. We are adversaries. However, when we are walking in the heavenly dimension, they cannot touch us. We in Christ have power over them because in the heavenly dimension our adversaries are already conquered. When we realize that they are already vanquished by our Head Christ, we begin to see them as a cardboard cavalry, an army that trembles and will flee from us like they did from Gideon’s 300, armed with lamps.

The heavenly dimension is full of light and understanding, which makes known God in all his glory to us. The “glorious gospel of Christ” is that we, once lost and blind earthlings, can repent and believe in the Light and begin to walk in the heavenly dimension, a Kingdom so close to us that He can tap us on the chest to awaken us from meditative slumber. Secrets of the Sabbath, Part One

Men have fought and died over which day is the Sabbath day and how to keep it holy. They died not knowing the spiritual secrets of the sabbath.

Most denominations say it is Sunday. Several claim that it is on Saturday, most notably of which are the Jews. Saturday is the 7th day of the week, after all. But their angst is misdirected; sadly, they are all missing the boat.

Most Christians will tell you that the Sabbath day is important, for God gave the 4th Commandment to men: “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8). Christians endeavor to keep all Ten Commandments the best they can. But they fail, and by their own volition declare that after their conversion to Christ, they still sin, which is breaking the Ten Commandment law (I John 3:4). God, of course, knew that natural man could not keep the law; He made him that way. And yet, spiraling down through the centuries, sincere men and women have tried unsuccessfully to keep the law in their own strength.

The Law Is for Lawbreakers

Nevertheless, despite all their ruminations, there is a curious passage of Scripture that the followers of Christ have not discovered nor understood: “The law is not made for a righteous man” (I Tim. 1:8-9). The Ten Commandment Law was given by God to man, to reveal the sin in his heart, to show man his sin. “The law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners…” It is just like the law against murder in the natural sense; it is for murderers, not you and me. The Sabbath is for sinners–to show them, along with the other nine commandments, of their sins and their need for the Savior.

The Law, the Ten Commandments, is a good thing, if it is used lawfully and properly (v. 8). The way that we use the 4th Commandment lawfully and properly is to know that it was instituted for sinners. The Sabbath commandment is not a hoop that we are to jump through to prove that we are righteous before God. Nor is it a way for us to become righteous in God’s eyes. Believing Him is the only way. Believing His word that says our old sinful nature has died with Christ and that now we have a new heart that beats in concert with the rhythm of the Spirit of truth now residing in us (Romans 6:1-12).

Ironically, every denomination says that they believe every word of God. But do they believe the previous paragraph. But “without faith (belief) it is impossible to please Him.” Us working keep the sabbath law in order to please God is a bondage wrapped in a cloak of well-meaning. And it is work, not rest.

Being Made Free from Sin

Understanding the secrets of the sabbath weaves together three threads: the Ten Commandments which includes the sabbath commandment; sin, and the cross of Christ. One who has died with Christ on the cross, been buried with Him, and have risen with Him by believing in His resurrection—is “freed from sin” (Rom. 6:7). We are resurrected with Him. We believe His promises that by faith His Spirit now lives within us, and our faith in Him is counted for being right with Him.

“Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness” (Romans 4:3). Yahweh imputed, reckoned to Abraham the ability to live in an upright manner, keeping Yahweh’s laws and not sinning, by just believing His word! God accounted righteousness to Abraham because of his belief–before he was righteous. This is how our old nature is put to death on the cross. We must “reckon also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin but alive unto God” (Romans 6: 11). [See pp. 154-159 in my book Yah Is Savior: The Road to Immortality available free with free shipping. We have seen what the sabbath commandment is not, and how it is impossible to keep through man’s own strength. In Part Two we will see scripturally just what the sabbath is and how to enter God’s sabbath rest. It is a beautiful secret that will make the chains of worldly wisdom drop to the stone floor of the Sure Foundation.
