Worshipping in Spirit and in Truth–Be No More Children, Tossed To and Fro

Little children of God are mostly alive for what they can receive from their Father.  Churches are full of babes and little children wanting something from God for themselves.

Don’t get me wrong.  I am not condemning them.  We all start out young, green, and self-centered babes in Christ, much like little natural babies.  We are dependent on others for our spiritual sustenance.  Many desire to be “filled with the Spirit,” usually  to alleviate current miseries of the heart and soul.

God is the Deliverer and Savior.  But there is a strong tendency for little children of God to remain in this state of spiritual childhood.

The apostles strongly admonished us “to be no more children, being tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine.”  Little children are easily deceived, both in the natural and in the spiritual.  A teaching comes out, and they run after it.  Another comes around, and they are tossed about wondering if that doctrine is true or not.  All “winds of doctrine” are not of God.  If they leave a person weak and vulnerable and needing another weekly recharge at church to maybe get them back to where they started from in their Christian experience, then something is greatly lacking.

And that something is truth.  Worshipping in “spirit” is not enough.  Animation without truth is just that–movement and being animated, “holding the form of God but denying the power.”  The Father is looking for His offspring to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. 

What Truth Are You Talking About?

The truth as to His true plan and purpose in the earth in bringing forth His manifested sons and daughters who will walk on this earth in full resplendent glory doing the “greater works” that the Savior Himself promised that some would do!  All of our trials are not “worthy to be compared to the glory  that shall be revealed in us.”  You want to claim something?  Claim that.  Ask God to help make you one of His first fruits.  He said that “He is bringing many sons unto glory.”  Have you ever asked who these elect sons and daughters are?

How about the truth about God’s original Hebrew name and the power found in its meaning: Yahshua = The Self-existent One is the Savior = Yahweh come in the flesh.  How about worshipping Him in Spirit and that truth?

What about the truth concerning the counterfeit one world government being formed as we speak–a false kingdom that will elevate a false messiah to power and the whole world will wonder after this man of sin, this ruler of Satan’s world system.

We must worship Him in Spirit–His Spirit–and in truth–His truth.  Not some manmade doctrines, which are nothing more than “cunningly devised fables” crafted to “deceive the very elect, if it were possible.”

It is only when we “believe upon Him as the scripture has said”–then, the Holy Spirit will come down and flow out of our inner being like “rivers of living waters.”   “As the scripture has said” signifies “believing on Him the true way that the scriptures lay out.”

All Must Make a Choice

Now we all must make a choice.  Perhaps God is calling some to leave childhood and complete and perfect the life-cycle of the Seed, the Word of God Made Flesh in us!  And become fathers and mothers of multitudes of manifested sons and daughters.

The apostle Paul exhorts us to “go on unto perfection.”  And the only way for that to happen is “not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and faith toward God.”  Not laying it again and again and again and again!  These things we ought to have done–true repentance and believing God for a new heart that won’t sin ever again.

But the people don’t get to hear this because their preachers  come from their very ranks and are children themselves, tossed to and fro in their deception.

And so it goes.  But His will shall be done in this earth.  Why?  He has already spoken it, like us, into existence.  And His word will not return unto Him void, but it will accomplish what He sent it to do.  Kenneth Wayne Hancock

In Him Was Life–The Light of Men

God, the creative Life Force, has now made it possible for His very Life essence to be placed into the human beings that He has created.  He is Eternal Life, and “God is a  Spirit.”  And when He places Himself in a human being, that person has eternal life dwelling in him.  The promise is unto us of immortality.  But there is only one way to attain this most precious of gifts.

Only one way, and Christ is the way.  He alone is the Road to Immortality.  He said as much.  “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”  The Father, who is that original Spirit Life Force, dwelt bodily and fully in the man known in the English speaking world as Jesus Christ.  That is why Christ continued and said, “No man comes unto the Father, but by me” (John 14: 6). 

His disciple Philip asked Him to show the Father to them.  And He responded, He that has seen me has seen the Father…the Father that dwells in me, He does the works.  Then Christ commands them to believe Him that the Father is in Him (John 14: 9-11).  Those who can do this will go on to do greater works than what even Christ had done (v. 12). 

Christ is the mediator between the Father and mankind.  He alone was predestined to overcome all things and provide the way into the Most Holy Place of the Father’s Presence, which is the Spirit coming into us and us coming into Him.

So this notion that Christ Jesus, who actually was called by His Hebrew name Yahshua during the 1st and 2nd centuries–this notion that He was just another great teacher or enlightened sage must be discarded once and for all.  Anyway, if He was such a great teacher, then why doesn’t everyone believe His teachings?  If He was so enlightened, then why doesn’t everbody follow Him?

In Him Was Life

The scriptures of truth declare that “in Him was life.”  Christ had and has eternal Life residing in Himself.  And this Life Force, which is the Spirit/Father, is Light.  “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men” (John 1: 4). 

It is here that it gets sticky for the human race.  For they are living their lives in the darkness of hidden sins and lies, and “the Light shines in the darkness,” and the darkness of men’s souls has never quenched, nor overcome, nor ever put the Light out.  For the Light is the very Life Force of the Father, who is immortal.

How does the Light shine into the darkness of the human heart?  It exposes the sin and evil that dwells therein.  The Light shines into the heart of darkness and convicts it of sin and forces it to change, to repent.  And it is here that most of the masses of humanity lose interest in Christ and His message of regeneration; they feel that they are okay and have no need to change.

Yet the Savior and His apostles’ message was, “Repent of your sins.”  His forerunner, the prophet John the Baptist, witnessed to all at Christ’s appearance at the river, “Behold, the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world” (John 1: 8).  He was saying that Christ has the Father in Him and He is the true Light that will search out the dark hidden recesses of your heart and soul.  He will provide the way for you to not have sin plaguing you daily.  He will take away your sin and anyone else’s that hears and obeys Him.  He will literally “save His people from their sins,” which is exactly what His Hebrew name Yahshua means–“Yahweh is the Savior.”  Yahweh, the Father, dwells fully in the Son, and He delivers us from sin and sinning.

His Spirit-Life-Love is Light insomuch as it exposes evil, selfish darkness.  When a person in darkness rejects the Light, then condemnation follows.  Christ and those He dwells in do not condemn anyone.  They merely allow Him to live His righteous life in their daily walk and leave the judging to Him.  A person is condemned when he rejects the Light by loving darkness and evil rather than drawing near to the Light.  In fact, everyone who does evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light because they don’t want their evil deeds to be exposed.  “Everyone that does evil hates the light, because their deeds are evil” (John 3: 17-21). 

One must get past the veil of Christ’s flesh and see the Father in Him, and thereby allow the healing Light of truth cleanse our hearts and set us upon the right path.  This takes humility–a commodity sorely lacking here on earth.     Kenneth Wayne Hancock

“He Who Commits Sin Is a Slave to Sin”–Part II, or How to Be Free from Sin

Man comes into existence with the old nature, the old self, and he is a slave to sin and its carnal fleshly lustful desires.  God bids us to come to the cross to let that old sinful spirit within us die a sacrificial death with the Savior.  This is our repentance from sin and the washing of regeneration in which our old sinful self dies and we are cleansed by the blood of the Lamb and given a new spirit from the heart of God.

Then we will desire to come to the light so that the world will know that the good clean deeds we do now are actions derived from His spirit within us.  We will know that He is the one actually doing this miracle of change within us.  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light lest his deeds should be reproved.  But he that does truth comes to the light that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God (John 3: 19-21).

Condemnation Comes by Not Believing in His Name

The truth is that God has provided a way for man to change his ways, and that way is Jesus (Yahshua), the Son of God.  When one persists in living in the darkness of sin, then that person is “condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

A person is condemned because he hasn’t believed in His name?  Yes, for they have not believed in the meaning of His name.  And His Hebrew name Yahshua means “Yah, the Self-Existent One, is the Savior.”  His name says it all in the Hebrew.

How He Saves

He saves His people by first coming down in human flesh and being Emmanuel, God with us.  Then He takes that Lamb to the sacrificial altar (the cross) where all of our sin was placed, and when He died on the cross, then our sin died.  When He was buried, our old nature was buried.  And when He was resurrected, then we were also raised to walk in a newness of life.

From the very beginning of God being with us in human form, it was all about Him saving us from our sins.  Yah says that He alone is the Savior many times in the prophets.  “You shall call His name Yahshua, for He shall save His people from their sins” (Matt. 1: 21).

The word about this is the truth that makes us free from sin and sinning.  He says that He will save us from our sins.  He says it by His word and His word is truth.  And this is the light that shines into the darkness.  This light is His Life that He desires to give His people.  He plans to give His Life to them.  It is His Life coming into us through faith in His resurrection in us that dispels the darkness of sin in one’s life.

When someone shrieks away from this light, they are denying His name and what it means: Yah is the Savior.  “I, even I, am Yahweh; and beside me there is no savior” (Isaiah 43: 11).  Kenneth Wayne Hancock

YAHSHUA–In His Name–What Does It Mean?

     One of the most trite and worn-out expressions in the English language is “in His name.”  We are to “do all in His name,” but what does that really mean?  We have uttered that phrase or a variation of it like, “In Jesus’ name” or “In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”  But is that all there is to it? Just to use that phrase as an incantation or magic words to get answers to our prayers?

     No.  Profound meaning is hidden in this phrase; we must dig deep to find it. Now let us investigate and study these three words in a new light.  “In His name…” We’ve got to go in, inside, within the true name.  He is pointing us to go into His name, but it has to be into His Hebrew name, Yahshua, and extract the meaning from it.

    His name Yahshua means, “Yah is salvation” or “Yah is Savior.”  But to all who received him, who believed in His name, He gave power to become the children of God. John 1:12, RSV. Here, “receiving Him” and “believing in His name” are synonymous.

A Message in His Name to Be Believed

   

    “Believing in His name” implies that there is a message to be believed, a truth inherent in His name. We have seen that Hebrew names are prophetical. We have seen that the Savior was named Yahshua because “He shall save His people from their sins.”  And Yahshua means “Yah is Savior.”  So what is the message contained within His name?  That message is “Yah is the Savior.”

     “Believing in His name…”  The children receive the Spirit by believing in what His name means (by believing in His name).  We believe the meaning of His name—that Yahweh or Yah, the Eternal Spirit, came down to earth and poured His essence into a specially set apart human form who would become the sacrifice for the sins of mankind—so that mankind could take on His spiritual nature.

     Listen to the Spirit speak through the prophet Isaiah: For I am Yahweh thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour…I, I am Yahweh, and besides Me there is no savior…Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. Isa. 43:3, 11; 45:15.

     Yes, Yah did hide Himself well in a flesh body some 2,000 years ago.  But He makes it very clear from the above passages in Isaiah that He, Yahweh, is the Savior; He is the Creator.  The apostle John makes it very clear that the Spirit-filled human flesh body that he had walked with for three and a half years did the creating.  In the beginning was the Word…All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made…He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not…And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…John 1:1, 3, 10, 14.

Believing What His Name Means

There is no contradiction here.  Yah did the creating, the forming, the redeeming and the saving.  And Yah, clothed in human flesh, took the name “Yahshua,” Yah-Is-Savior.  The very name of the Messiah points to the fact that it is the Father Yahweh who is doing the saving.  Yah was in that vessel, the Messiah, “reconciling the world unto Himself.”  The Spirit, Yah, pours Himself into His temple and works out of it to the world.  Yahweh in Yahshua of Nazareth is the Son.

    When a person believes in the name of Yahshua, he is believing what that name means—that Yah is the Savior in human form.  In fact, the act of believing in the name of Yahshua is a miniature of the Creator’s plan of kingdom redemption.

     If one has really received Him, that person will have believed in His name, which is to say, will have believed that the Father Yah was in human form, and that combination, Yahshua, is bringing salvation to the world.

Believing in Him Is Believing in His Name

     He who believes in Him is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. John 3:18. When one does not believe in the Messiah, he is not believing in the meaning of His name.  For He said, “He that rejects Me, rejects Him that sent Me.”  If you reject the Son, you are rejecting the Father that dwells within the Son, for that is exactly where the Father Yahweh is.  “Know ye not that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?” He asked.

     The unbeliever in the Messiah is already judged for one reason: he has not believed in the name of Yahshua, which is saying that Yah was not in him, saving mankind through His death, burial, and resurrection.  Not believing in Messiah’s name, then, is equal to not receiving the Spirit of the Creator.

Not believing in the meaning of the name of Yahshua is equal to rejecting the light that is come into the world, and cleaving unto darkness, saying, I have no need for Yah in human form to save me (see John 3:19).

    The phrase “in the name,” then, has profound meaning and carries a weighty message.  First, we cannot believe  in  His  name  if we do not know His name.  If we seek, He will reveal to us His true name.  This knowledge, in turn, is an important key that will unlock the door that is keeping us from continuing our journey down the road to immortality.

     The Savior’s name is Yahshua, Yah-Is-Savior.  To believe in His name is to believe what His name actually means: Yahweh, the self-existent One that cried through Isaiah, who appeared and spoke to Noah, Abraham, Moses, and many others, offered up His perfect human incarnation and became the Author of eternal salvation for His people.     Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Don’t Let “The Cares of This Life” Choke Out God’s Vision of Sonship

With so many things screaming at us today–unemployment, recession, depression, the stock market collapse, mortgage crisis, layoffs, bills, family problems–no wonder it is difficult to keep the center of our thoughts on God’s plan and purpose.

Most do not know His eternal purpose, but even if they did, that knowledge would be drowned out by the “cares of this life” (Matt. 13: 22-23).  And His vision for us on earth is choked out by fears.

But His eternal purpose remains steadfast.  We must keep reminding the sheep of His pasture of their calling as His heirs–His sons and daughters. For His eternal purpose is that He is “bringing many sons unto glory.”

For if we keep His thoughts in mind, we shall never fall to the evil conspiracy that runs amok on every level of earthly existence.

You Shall Know the Truth

But our adversary, the devil, does not want us to glimpse the truth, for he knows it will make us free of the fear that is flung into every heart on this earth.  Still Christ’s own promise is this: “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8: 32).

What truth is He talking about?  He said, “I am the truth.”  So let’s examine Christ (the Truth) a moment so that we can know just what truth really is.  Yes, He is the Son of God, but He promised that we, too, would be His sons and daughters.  “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name (John 1: 12).

Two points here that we must keep in mind in order to overcome the negative onslaughts that undermine us.  First, God will give power to those who receive Christ–power to become just like Him, a son and daughter of God.  Second, these will believe on His name.  Very important.  His original Hebrew name is Yahshua (like the patriarch’s English name “Joshua”).  And this name has a specific meaning–a meaning that we need to believe!

The Meaning of the Savior’s Hebrew Name

“Yahshua” means, “The Eternal Self-Existent One (YAH) is the Savior (SHUA).  The “Truth” is this:  Yahweh dwelt in and walked around in the man known as Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  And He, Yahweh, is the Savior (II Cor. 5: 19; Isa 43: 11).

They are one.  And that is exactly what Christ said.  “I and my Father (Yahweh) are one.”  The Father resided in the body of the Son.  Now we are the Son’s body, and by the Spirit’s presence, the Father now resides in us.

This is how “The Truth,” Christ, is being multiplied in a body of many people.  The apostle Paul said that we will be glorified, and that this whole earth is waiting for this very event–“the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8: 18).

Heirs of God, Joint Heirs with Christ

The vision that we shall be His heirs in His kingdom, clothed with a new spiritual body like Christ’s–this is the great theme of Paul and the other apostles’ writings.  Some will become like Christ!  There–I said it.

So the question then becomes this:  Who of all the six billion on earth will answer this “holy calling” of sonship?  Who will “lay their hands to the plow and not look back?  Who will “sell all they have” in order to make their “calling and election sure”?  Who will tell Him, “It is I, Lord, send me”?  Who will “study to show themselves approved”?  Who will be feeding His lambs and sheep the true spiritual food when He comes back to earth to establish His government?  Who will “stand in the gap” and lay it on the line, unafraid of what man can do to them?  Who will be found worthy in the end to do the “greater works” that Christ spoke of?

The future sons and daughters of God are in the earth today.  The last question we need to answer is this: Am I going to be one of them?                 Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Bearing the Fruit of the Spirit–Being the Children of Light

The apostle Paul says that we are light, and we are to “walk as children of light” (Eph 5:8).  Then, in the very next breath he says, “For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness…”  This thus signifying that “light” is equal to bearing the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (Gal 5:22-23).

We become the children of light when we have His Spirit abiding in us, bearing the fruit of the Spirit.  Light is what makes something known; therefore, God will be manifest in us when others see and experience His love, joy, and peace coming through us.  We are the light of God when we have the fruit of the Spirit because others will see God in us.

We bear this spiritual produce when we abide in the Savior Christ.  We are commanded by the Savior to “abide in me,” and let me abide in you.  Let my Spirit live and flow through you.  Then you will bear much fruit (John 15: 4-5).   Much love from above, joy, and peace will flow down from Him by His Spirit within us and out to others.

How Does His Spirit Abide in Us?

Yes, we are told by the Savior to let the Spirit of God come and flow through us.  But how does this happen?  Is there something that we, His children, need to do to effect this?  How will His abiding presence come into us so that we can bear this fruit of His Spirit?

The Savior Jesus (Yahshua) makes a conditional promise to us concerning this.  “If a man love me, he will keep my words…” (John 14:23).  Good things will come to the man who loves the Son of God.  Loving Him will mean he will obey his words and what He tells us to do.  “If you love Me, keep my commandments”.  If we do this, then He will give us the Spirit!  And the Father “shall give your another Comforter; that He may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth…for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you” (John 14: 15-17).   This is the Spirit of God coming down into us!

He just said, those that love Him will keep His commandments.  “He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loves Me” (John 14:21).   The person that loves the Son of God understands just what He requires of him, just what He wants him to do.  This person that loves the Son of God will comprehend what this pre-requisite is before we can receive the  in-dwelling Spirit.

What exactly are these commandments that Christ wants us to keep?

The first new thing that He commands us to do is, “Believe Me.”  Real simple.  Not complicated.  Even a child can comprehend this.  He is saying, Believe Me when I tell you about my relationship with the Father.  “Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me.”  That is a command.  Those of us who take this to heart and do it will receive His Spirit in a reality and bear much fruit of the Spirit.

He did not request mythic gargantuan tasks to prove that we love Him.  He merely gives us a simple command: “Believe me that I am in the Father and believe me that the Father is in Me” (John 14:11).  We are to believe that He was in the Father’s will, heart and mind, soul and body.  And we are to believe that the great Spirit Father, Yahweh Himself, was walking around doing the great miraculous works through Christ!

That’s it in a nutshell.  That is what the book says.  This is worshiping God in spirit and in truth.  This is the truth:  The Father dwelt bodily in the man Christ Jesus (Yahshua) of Nazareth.   “For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Col 2: 9)…”He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father…I and my Father are one…God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself…”

There is so much riding on this.  If we get this one, then the gates of heaven will open, and we shall be the recipients of His very Being in our bodies!  He goes on, “He that believes on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works  shall he do!” (John 14: 12).  Because the Father will be abiding in us, too!  HalleluYah!  This is how we get the Father to come down and live in us: we must first believe that the Father was dwelling fully in the Son of God.

We get this right and great joy, great peace, and great love will come down through us and on out unto the world.  Believing that the Father walked around in the Son of God and did the works is the first step in us receiving the Father and having Him walk around in our bodies here on the the earth.  It will be He loving others through us.  He will be touching others with peace and joy.

Christ goes on and confirms it again: “If a man love me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (Jn 14:23).  This is how the Spirit will come down and abide in us.

“He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit…”  Much love, joy, peace and all the rest, coming down and through us to the love-starved world.  This is how we glorify the Father–that we bear much fruit of the Spirit (John 15: 8).   These fruit-bearers will be His disciples.

Once the belief has begun–belief that the Father is in Christ fully–then “whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”  We now have confidence to ask for more of His presence, more of His Spirit, so that it can be channeled out to others who need to know that God is real.

In this way the light of God’s Spirit will shine so that all men can be drawn to God.  “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me.”  We are then to “let your light so shine that others may see your good works and glorify your Father (which is walking inside of you, doing the works).

Why is this so difficult for us to comprehend?  It is because of the old leaven, the old teachings about the Father and Christ taught by the false prophets and teachers throughout the centuries.  They have made it mysterious and difficult to understand God through subtilty, lest our “minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” (II Cor 11: 3).        Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Asking in His Name–His Hebrew Name Yahshua (Conversations with the Seer)

      “Nothing happened when I prayed in Jesus’ name,” I said to the wise man, who was sitting under a white oak tree.  He motioned for me to sit down, and I did.

     The sage looked at me, peering into my eyes as if searching for the bottom of a water well.  “Yes, Christ has promised that if we ask anything in His name, He would grant it.  It is obvious that since you did not receive, you did not ask in His name.”

      “But I did ask in His name.  At the end of my prayer I said, In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

      “You are trying, my son, but you are asking without knowledge of what His name is and what His name means.  That is the key to answered prayers.”

      “His name is Jesus, isn’t it?”  Confusion was starting to set in.

      “We in the English speaking world know Him as Jesus.  But He was not known in the days of His earthly sojourn by the sound of that name spoken.”

     “What do you mean?”

      “The arch-angel Gabriel appeared to the virgin, known to most people as Mary.  He told her that she would conceive a child by the Holy Spirit and that the child would be called by the Hebrew name Yahshua.”

      “You mean His name is not Jesus?”

      He smiled at me knowing that I was having trouble believing Him.  “Millions know Him by Jesus, but that is the name given to Him in the English versions of the scriptures.  ‘Jesus’ is not, however, a Hebrew name.  Gabriel did not speak English because English did not exist 2,000 years ago.  He spoke in the timeless language of heaven, telling her  that the Messiah’s name would be Yahshua. Christ did say that He came in His Father’s name.  Biblical scholars confirm that the Father’s name is YHWH, pronounced Yahweh, or Yah.”

     The sage saw that my mouth was agape with no sound issuing forth, so he continued.   “The English name Joshua is taken almost verbatim from the Hebrew name Yahshua.      Joshua the patriarch who took Moses’ place, whose book of Joshua we have today—that patriarch had the very same name as the Savior who came 2,000 years ago. You may read and confirm all this by the study of books.  The point is that if we ask in His Hebrew name Yahshua, He will answer our prayers.”

     “But they taught us to say at the end of our prayers,  ‘In Jesus’ name.'”

     “Yes, we were young children of God.  And as all children believe in magic, we took the words ‘in Jesus’ name’ to possess a magical promise of getting what we want.  Then we thought as children, but now He commands us to be young men and women in Him, where we put away those concepts of the past and strive for more of His understanding on ‘asking in His name.

      “So how do we ask in His name?”    

        “If we ask anything that agrees with what His name means, then He will grant it.  If we ask anything that comes under what His name means, then He will grant it.  If we ask anything that glorifies His name…If we ask anything that trusts in the promises contained in the meaning of His name…If we ask anything that can be seen as having to do with what’s in His name…If we ask anything that honors the meaning of His name—then, He will grant it.”

     “So, what does His name mean?”

     “His Hebrew name Yahshua means  ‘Yah is Savior.’  Yah means ‘the Self-Existent One’ and shua means ‘Savior.’  This means that the Father Yahweh is the Savior and the Father dwelt bodily in the Son and was and is the Savior.  Christ confirmed this when He said, Believe me that the Father is in me, and when He said, I and my Father are one. Christ was called Immanuel, meaning ‘God with us.’  If you ask Him with all this in mind, giving honor to His name, which glorifies the Father, then you will get God’s attention.  He will answer your prayers if you ask in His name this way.”

     I thanked the wise man for his help and went my way.  I did not understand it then, for it was a lot to take in.  But I studied it out, and now I see confirmation all the time of what he told me.  One example:  In Mt. 1: 21 there is a footnote on the word “JESUS” in my King James Version published by World Bible Publishers.  The footnote in the column says, “SAVIOR.”  There it is.  The translators and publishers knew that His original name meant SAVIOR.  “You shall call His name YAHSHUA (which means ‘Yah is Savior’), for He shall save His people from their sins.”     Kenneth Wayne Hancock  [See my book at the top of the website Yah Is Savior: The Road to Immortality]
