Christ the Door into the Heavenly Dimension

The door to the other dimension — the spiritual dimension — is Christ Himself. Scripture teaches that we must enter the Kingdom of God, but the question remains: How do we enter? Jesus answers plainly: “I am the door.” But a door always opens somewhere. Christ is the Door that opens into the righteous, heavenly dimension — the realm where God’s will is done, the realm Jesus taught us to seek when He said, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth…” Through His righteousness, we step from the natural into the spiritual, from the earthly into the heavenly.

Peter expands this truth by explaining that an entrance into this Kingdom is “supplied” to those who add seven attributes to the faith already operating within them (2 Peter 1:1–8). These seven additions are nothing less than the divine nature of Christ, spiritually transposed into our earthly vessels. As we add them, we are not merely improving our character — we are entering the righteous spiritual dimension where God’s Kingdom operates. Christ is the Door, and these attributes are the steps through that Door.

This is the very purpose of God: to multiply His divine nature into “many sons unto glory.” We have been chosen to walk this path of apostleship, following Christ step by step, for “the steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD.” The Kingdom we enter is invisible, spiritual, and real — a dimension into which Christ alone grants access.

Christ has given us “exceeding great and precious promises,” and through these promises we become partakers of His divine nature. Peter, in the opening chapter of his second letter, lists the very qualities that form this path of entrance: virtue, knowledge, self‑control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. These are not suggestions; they are commands spoken by an apostle who walked with the Savior Himself.

Peter’s authority is not theoretical. His life bears witness:

•           He performed the first apostolic miracle after Pentecost (Acts 3).

•           He opened the gospel to the Gentiles through Cornelius (Acts 10).

•           He served as a foundational leader and spokesman of the Jerusalem church (Acts 1–12).

•           He authored 1 & 2 Peter, strengthening believers and clarifying doctrine.

•           He displayed boldness under persecution (Acts 4–5).

•           He confessed Jesus as “the Christ, the Son of the living God,” by revelation of the Father (Matt. 16:16–17).

•           He was restored by Christ and became a model of grace after failure (Luke 22; John 21).

This is the man who tells us how to enter the Kingdom. His words carry weight because he walked with the Door Himself.

Therefore, we can trust Peter when he declares that adding these seven facets to the gem of God’s faith will open to us an abundant entrance into the everlasting Kingdom. Each attribute is a deliberate step deeper into the spiritual dimension where Christ reigns. We are not passive spectators but active participants in this transformation. As we cultivate these qualities, they become signposts marking our progress into the Kingdom, confirming our calling and election.

And the more faithfully we walk in them, the more abundantly the entrance is supplied — until we find ourselves fully stepping through Christ the Door into the dimension He has prepared for His sons and daughters.   Kenneth Wayne Hancock

The Abiding and the Additions Bear Much Fruit

“He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit.”

Lots to unpack in Christ’s words. First, we must understand that spiritual growth, like natural growth, is a process from seed to harvest. Spiritual maturity does not happen overnight. The spiritual seed grows first into “the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear (Mark 4:28).  

You then have levels of spiritual fruit [30-fold] and then more fruit [60-fold],and then much fruit [100-fold]. Christ said, “Every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit” (John 15:2). Many spiritually young Christians fall away at this point because to bear more and more fruit, we the branches must be pruned or purged. This purging by the Father can be painful. This is where He corrects and chastens us, trimming off unproductive concepts and beliefs. Nobody likes the purging of the Father. But those who endure with patience will eventually grow to bear “much fruit” (John 15:5).

“Much fruit” is the 100-fold growth. This is full spiritual maturity. It is the same growth that Peter, Paul, and John demonstrated in the Acts of the Apostles and in their Spirit-led writings. These apostles and Christ Himself said that this growth is possible for us, too. Christ learned “obedience by the things that He suffered” (Heb. 5:8). We will do the same. We will reign with Christ if we suffer with Him (2 Tim. 2:12; Matt. 13:3-9, 18-23).

Spiritual Growth Comes through the Abiding

The word “abide” is translated as “continue, stay, remain” in many verses. The ability to continue walking through the stormy trials of a Christian’s sojourn, adds endurance/patience. We can endure the process of becoming God’s son or daughter here on earth by His presence abiding in us. It is the Spirit of truth that abides in us. The Spirit of truth remains in us by faith, by believing Christ’s words and promises. He said that he would “never leave you nor forsake you.” He fulfills this through adding facets of his divine nature–especially patience/endurance.

We add patience/endurance by faith, by believing his word when he says, in essence, I will remain in you by my Spirit’s presence in you; I will grow in you. This adding is activated by your belief in his words. Endurance/ patience is a part of the abiding. And the abiding of His Spirit in our hearts is a part of patience. We are given the strength to abide in him when we by faith add endurance/patience. We can endure hardships and sufferings by having his Spirit abide in our hearts. They will come, but so will his Spirit be guiding us into all truth. “For you have need of endurance [patience], so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise (Heb. 10:36).  

And that promise is God sending down the Holy Spirit and filling us with power to complete His mission. He will in His own sweet time baptize us in fire which cleanses all false doctrines and concepts. He desires for us to “present our bodies as a living sacrifice,” putting to death our old desires and surrendering to his greater and far more glorious destiny for us.   Kenneth Wayne Hancock

An Exhortation to Read “Additions to the Faith”

[I am interjecting this exhortation into the middle of the current study of God’s will. We, the future manifested sons and daughters, God’s elect, are told to “search the scriptures.” We are to “dig deep” and “study to show ourselves approved unto God.”

But how does one begin to study out such vastness? Just reading the Bible is not searching, digging, and clawing as after hidden treasure like we are told to do. A child of God soon gets frustrated without a map to that treasure.  Especially when trials come, which is like the sun going down into a darkness of difficulty and dismay. The child of God clings onto the feeble flakes of knowledge that the denominations have provided, but boredom evolves into blind duty, and they lose interest. For some, seeking God has become a weekly chore that one must do.

However, a teacher sent from God, one who is free from error, can part the dark clouds and reveal the path to spiritual growth. Knowledge of truth must be contextualized. “A sure foundation” must be laid. This begins to fulfill our royal destiny on earth.

My latest book, The Additions to the Faith, has two sections. Part One contains foundational principles for spiritual growth. These include getting the vision of becoming like Christ and the apostles, thus fulfilling the harvest. For the Father is grooming His elect for kingship. He promised this: “to him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my father in his throne” (Rev. 3:21-22). Those who can understand this, let them hear what the Spirit is saying to his true church. This is knowledge of the foundation to be built upon.

Part Two reveals the seven additions that the Spirit through Peter shared with us (II Peter 1:4-11). Part Two shines light on these seven specific additions to our faith. They are weighty things. The Holy Spirit through Peter says that adding them will make us fruitful, thereby making our “calling and election sure.” And here’s the heavy, weighty part: He that does not add them “is blind and cannot see afar off” and will miss the Big Show.

Five Wise and Five Foolish

A tearful parable illustrates this sad event. We have ten Christians in the body of Christ. They have an equal start in spiritual growth. Virgins all. All ten were in. But the five wise brought oil [the Spirit]. The foolish brought little and ran out. They did not listen and study. When the five foolish went out to get oil, the bridegroom came. And the foolish pleaded with the Master to open the door. But Christ said to them, “I don’t know you.” I don’t know you for this high calling and honor (Matthew 25: 1-13).

This should send a sickening shiver down into the pit of our hearts. Christ means business. His business. It is sad that most do not know Christ’s business; they were never taught it. But if they had searched with all their hearts, they would have found it.

Someone still dabbling in old leaven doctrines [false teachings] is running the risk of stunting their growth. It is like going to a stadium rally where Christ is about to speak. You are outside with a million people crammed around the venue because you did not send for tickets in time. You are so far away that you cannot even see the stage. And you are kicking yourself because you know that you had a chance to be on the stage with Him, observing His smile and shaking His hand. You had a chance to be in His cadre, in his inner circle. He wanted you to be one of His ambassadors sent out to heal not just individuals, but whole nations. For He will begin to restore the earth after the great tribulation. You “could have been somebody” in Him. If only you had hearkened to His Spirit and studied His truths and not the pablum of putrid teachings.

We have got to shake ourselves, and it starts right here with me. This is what it will take to be one of the overcomers. This is Christ’s vision for you and me. The Secrets in the 90% of the Verses They Don’t Teach

Preachers only teach a few Bible verses that support their company line.

But let’s face it: Everything we know about Christ is from words written down by a few of His followers. These disciples became apostles, sent forth to spread the good news of His Royal Government come to earth. Christians the world over count their words as the scriptures of truth, inspired by the Spirit of God.

Almost all denominations say that they believe the apostles’ words. They say that they go by every word of God found in the Bible. Yet each denomination uses very few of the apostles’ words, yet still claiming to have the whole truth of God.

Although many congregations are sincere, they still, in essence, are saying, “Join us, walk the aisle, be baptized, come to church, enjoy the fellowship, pay your tithes and offerings and you are in. You’re going to heaven.” They patchwork a few verses of the Bible, yet never dig deep into those very apostles’ words about Christ’s plan and purpose. Their sermons recount others’ interpretations. They are in a straitjacket, bound by doctrines based on 10% of the Bible.

But you won’t hear about how the cross puts sin to death in our lives. You won’t hear Romans 6 preached. Why? The people in the pews don’t want to hear it, and they might just leave and not come back when they do hear it. Roman 6 is about our crucifixion with Christ, our death, burial, and resurrection with Him. Can’t have a resurrection without a death. It is about the death of our old sinful self and our resurrection with Christ. These are somber, yet joyful words, but you won’t hear it preached.

Furthermore, you won’t hear the apostle John’s gospel, except for John 3:16 and maybe John 1:1. What about the rest of the Gospel of John? What holy mysteries await us in the 90% of the apostles’ words that they don’t teach?

What They Wrote

What did the apostles write down for us? They wrote about Christ’s Kingdom, which is the gospel, the good news (Mark 1:14). They recorded Christ’s words about the Kingdom in parables, which contain the mysteries of God “which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world” (Matt. 13:35). They wrote about the way to become like Christ, which is the “riches of the glory of this mystery…Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col.1:27).

They wrote about God’s eternal purpose: the reproduction of Himself–in us! They wrote about God’s plan to fulfill His purpose. And a portion of His plan is presented in one of His new commandments: “Add to your faith” certain attributes of God’s divine nature, hence the title of this book, The Additions to the Faith.

These additions have been written down plainly in the Bible for us by none other than the apostle Peter in his second letter to us. Peter walked with Christ. He was privy to many of Christ’s secrets and mysteries. But, alas, you won’t hear about those mysteries in church on Sunday because those mysteries are hidden, to be revealed to those whom God has chosen for that honor. The mysteries that Peter speaks of are contained in the 90% of the writings not taught today.

The Additions to the Faith explains Peter’s words as to what those additions are and how they work together to help His elect grow spiritually. When all seven are added, Christ’s Spirit will be living in us fully. Thus, fulfilling the Father’s eternal purpose.  

This and much more are contained in the 90% of the verses that they don’t teach. Christ said that the Spirit of Truth “will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). He will show us what is in the 90%.
