Parable of the Tares in the Field–Exposing the “Rulers of the Darkness of This World” Part I (Conversations With the Seer)

I came to the seer with a question that was really bothering me. I see now that it is an age old question that countless people have asked down through the centuries. “What’s really going on in the world? Why do the evil ones prosper and the innocent suffer?”

To which the Seer replied, “In order to answer that, we must realize that the great God of heaven has secrets.  Oh, yes, He keeps secrets–secrets that He will only reveal to certain individuals that He can trust.  “Now this is not just some made up assumption on my part. The Holy Scriptures declare this to be true. ‘Surely the Lord GOD (Yahweh) will do nothing, but he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets’ (Amos 3: 7). And, ‘I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world’” (Mt. 13: 35).

“So God definitely has secrets?”

“Yes, and they are contained in the parables. But He is revealing those mysteries to people right now. He’s revealing them to those who have a sincere, seeking heart. For, you see, these secrets go way back–back to the very foundation of the world. And Christ came and taught these secrets to those whom He had chosen. For He did say, You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen You and have ordained you to bear fruit, spiritual fruit. He shows mercy on whomsoever He will, for He is sovereign.”

“What are the secrets about?” I asked.

“God’s secrets have to do with His plan and purpose for all of us down here on earth.  It’s all about Him establishing His government down here on earth.  He calls it His kingdom, for He is the King.  And He uses parables to reveal mysteries to us. Man’s wisdom teaches that the parables of Christ are nice little stories to make it a bit easier for us to perceive the things of God. Not so. It’s just the opposite. He teaches in parables to deliberately cloud the meaning for the masses so that only those who He wants to reveal the secrets to will understand!”

“These secrets are not given to everybody?” I asked.

“Would you tell everybody your own secrets?  Of course, they are not given to everyone. The disciples even asked the Savior why He spoke to the masses using parables. He related to them that through parables they would understand “the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them [the masses, the multitude] it is not given” (Mt. 13: 11). The parable is double-edged. It reveals the secrets and mysteries of what God is doing to those He gives it to, and the parable prevents just any-old-body from interloping into His precious things that He reserves for His elect, His chosen ones. The masses can literally hear the words of His parables and not understand them. They can “see and not perceive” their meaning (Mark 4: 12).

“But how does this all tie in with my original question as to why the innocent suffer while the evil ones look like they are winning?”

“The answer to your important question is found in one of His parables. It is a secret and a great mystery that only a few will understand. And you are going to say when I finish explaining this, Why didn’t someone tell me before? It is the Parable of the Tares in the Field (Matthew 13: 24-30, 37-43). Before we get started, though, I want you to realize that this is a sacred secret and not to be taken lightly, for this knowledge is crucial in order to understand the forces at work on the earth, which, in turn, helps us comprehend not only what is happening, but why it is happening.”

Then the Seer began to read the parable. “The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn” (Matthew 13: 24-30).

“I don’t get it,” I said.

“Neither did the disciples. Christ had to explain it to them. Right after He spoke the parable to them they asked Him, Declare unto us the parable. He goes on to explain to them that the field is the world in which we live. The man is the Son of man, Christ Himself. And he sows the good seed, which are the children of the kingdom, or His followers, the children of God. The enemy who sowed bad seed into the field is the devil. The bad seed are his children, the ‘children of the wicked one.’ Both the children of God and the children of the devil are growing up together in this earth. And they will continue on growing until the time of the harvest, which is the end of the world age as we know it. At that time, the children of the devil will be gathered up and disposed of, and the children of God will shine forth in the kingdom of their Father” (Mt. 13: 36-43).

“Wow.”

“We have to realize that He ‘sent the multitude away’ and then explained this parable only to His disciples (v. 36). This information is heavy and was only for a chosen few–only to those that He had personally chosen out from among all the people. And so it is today.  He is revealing these things to His elect.” [For more you can read my two books which you can find at the top of this page.  Just click “Ebook…”] Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Knowing God as He Really Is–The Definition of Immortality

We are well down the road to immortality now.  We have learned that wisdom is being in awe of God.  It is the first step; it is the main thing, for it is the first key that begins to unlock the treasure house of God’s knowledge.  Without this awe of Him we won’t get anywhere.  Then we took step two, knowing His name.  Moses got some wisdom, some awe of God, at the burning bush, and then he had to know His name.  It was a crucial step, to know God’s true name Yahweh.

And now we have come to our third step: Knowledge of Who He Really Is.  The farther we go down this road that leads to immortality, the more is at stake.  We cannot turn back now; our own hopes of transcending a certain death hangs on our stead-fastness and perseverance at this time.  Immortality, the elixir that our mortal mouths must drink, is the knowledge  of  who  God really is.  This knowledge is the key to unlock the secrets of eternal life.  We have arrived at nothing less than the information that will catapult us over this valley of the shadow of death.  Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Yahshua the Messiah, whom you have sent. John 17:3. NIV.

Our hopes for arriving at immortality hinge on how well we really know Him—how well we really know His nature, His essence, His Deity, His Godhead.  For us, eternal life depends on whether we really know Him as He really is.  We must straighten out misconceptions of who He is and how He is.

Those of us on this road to immortality must realize that only He can grant us true knowledge of Himself.  It will not come through man’s conception of who and how He is.  We must believe upon Him in true knowledge “as the scripture has said,” the way the scriptures really portray Him.

But that, of course, is the problem.  We all have our own conception of Him.  We think that we have just “come up with it,” but we have received our personal conception of God through what we have been taught by other human beings that we have come in contact with.  It really gets tricky when people have studied out minutely different denominational doctrines, and even though they have “come out” of that organization, they cling tenaciously to its teachings—teachings about who He is.

The Savior, 2000 years ago, standing before them in a human flesh body, told them that they were searching the scriptures.  They thought that eternal life was contained in those scriptures of truth.  But, as the  Master  was  pointing  out,  the very writings that they thought would yield immortality for them were the very writings that spoke of Him—the One that they were rejecting!  You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life.  These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. John 5:39-40, NIV…You study the scriptures diligently, supposing that in having them you have eternal life: yet, although               their testimony points to me, you refuse to come to me for that life. NEB.

They were studying the scriptures diligently, thinking that immortality would be derived through them.  What writings were they studying that spoke about the Messiah, the Savior?  What scriptures existed then?  They were the books commonly referred to as the Old Testament.  Now  Yahshua, the Savior, said that those old books written by the prophets of ancient Israel, those old books spoke about HIM!

The prophets spoke and wrote  about the Savior by His very Spirit within them

Let’s go, then, to the prophets where they speak about the Messiah, specifically using the word “Savior.”  He just said in John 5 that the scriptures do testify of Him, so let us go there and see for ourselves what they are saying.  Now Peter tells us that the spirit that was in those prophets was the Spirit of the Savior, Yahshua the Anointed One.  And  they  spoke  and  wrote  down with the Spirit of Yahshua about this immortality, this salvation from a certain death.  This salvation was the theme which the prophets pondered and explored, those who prophesied about the grace of God awaiting you.  They tried to find out what was the time, and what the circumstances, to which the spirit of Christ in them pointed. I Peter 1:10-11, NEB.

The Spirit of Messiah, which was in Isaiah the prophet said this: But now thus saith Yahweh (the LORD) that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel…For I am Yahweh thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior. Isa. 43:1,3.

Several important points emerge from this passage that are vital for our understanding of His essence, which in turn is vital for our obtaining immortality.  First, the Spirit of Christ that was in Isaiah said that He was Yahweh! Thus saith Yahweh…I am Yahweh.  When the prophets wrote down the words, “Thus saith Yahweh,”  they were saying that Yahweh is speaking through me the following words.  Yahweh is speaking thusly.  Yahweh, the Father, the Creator, the Supreme Being is using me by speaking through me! Oh, to be used that way, the way He used the prophets!

Second, the Spirit of Christ is saying that He created and formed Jacob/ Israel.  John confirms this. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:3. Paul confirms this as well. For by him were all things created, that are in the heaven, and that are in the earth, visible or invisible…Col. 1:16.

Third, I am Yahweh thy God, the Holy One of Israel…The  Spirit  of the Messiah speaking through Isaiah now says that He is Yahweh, that He is one God and that He is Israel’s Holy One (the whole House of Israel or the 12 tribes of Jacob/Israel).

Fourth, the Spirit of the Messiah, God’s Spirit, Yahweh, breathing and speaking through Isaiah says, I am thy Savior…I, even I, am Yahweh; and beside me there is no saviour. Isa.43: 3, 11.  Here Yahweh, which is the Spirit that was in the Messiah, says clearly that He is the Savior and that there is no other savior!  Yahweh, then, was inside the man  Yahshua who was called the Savior, for Yahweh says that there is no other savior except Him. We trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those who believe. I Tim. 4:10.  God was in Christ (the Anointed One) reconciling the world unto Himself. II Cor. 5:19.  It was Yahweh in the man who was the Savior.  Or, in other words, Yahweh-in-human-form is the Savior.

Bottom line: the same Spirit that spoke through the prophets, that created Jacob/Israel and everything else, this Great Spirit God dwelt bodily in the man Yahshua the Messiah. His name Yahshua means “Yah-Is-Savior.” It was Yahweh of old, the Yahweh of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel, the Yahweh of Moses, David, and all the prophets—  that same Yahweh came down, leaving His spirit-body dimension.  And He came to earth in a flesh and blood human body, walked in our midst doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil.  And in due time, He laid down that human body, yielded it up to a sacrificial death, and raised that body in three days to life again, so that we could be restored to His original plan of reproducing Himself.    [This is Chapter 11 from my book, Yah Is Savior: The Road to Immortality.  You can find the whole book at the top of this page.  Just click “Ebook…”] Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Finding the “Lost Sheep of the House of Israel”–Why It Matters, Part II

In part one of this article, we saw that finding the “lost sheep of the House of Israel” does matter to God because of Christ’s very words: “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel” (Matt. 15: 24 NIV).  That is who Christ is sent to, to the twelve tribes of Israel.  If they are not in the earth today, then Christ cannot fulfill His own calling!  For being sent to them is part of His calling.

Furthermore, the Spirit of God in Jeremiah promises to bring them back to Jerusalem (32: 37-40).  He is pouring out His heart to “the children of Israel and the children of Judah,” (v. 30) telling them that their sins have provoked His anger, that He should remove them from the Promised Land.  Only because of “all the evil” that they have done did God exile them to the four corners of the earth.  But, He says that He will bring back a remnant of them and “will gather them out of all countries…and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.”  He goes on to say that He will plant them back into the promised land.

The Lost Sheep Are Not the Israelis

To the untrained eye, it looks like that the Israelis have fulfilled the above prophecy.  But this cannot be because the Jews were never lost!  They have always called themselves Jews.  It is the ten tribes of the Northern Kingdom of Israel that were lost in history.  Where did they go?  Where are they today?  That is one of God’s mysteries that He is revealing today.

God’s servants knew in their day.  The apostle James wrote to them 700 years after their captivities: “To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting” (James 1: 1).  Many Christians today believe that they are Gentiles and not Israelites.  If they are
Gentiles, then the book of James is not written unto them.  Why then do they persist in reading someone else’s mail?  James wrote a letter to the twelve tribes.  James would not have written to them had he not known of their existence and their location.

Huge Proof that Lost Sheep Are in the Earth Today

But some will persist in saying, Oh that is all ancient history.  What difference does it really make whether the lost sheep of Israel exist or not?  The answer is that the destiny of a remnant of  all 12 tribes of Israel is literally spelled out in the Book of Revelation–twice!

Thousands of Israelites are sealed by God and are given a special calling in Revelation.  If it really doesn’t matter about the literal offspring of Israel being around today, then why does Christ make reference to them by name twice in the book of The Revelation?

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to shew unto His servants things which must shortly come to pass” (Rev. 1: 1).  And a part of these eminent things to happen is the appearance of thousands of descendants of fleshly Israel being called out to do a special spiritual work in these last days.

Where in Revelation Are They?

We find them mentioned in the 7th and 14th chapter.  These cannot be the modern-day Jews, for the Jews only came from the House of Judah, which only had two of the 12 tribes, and they were never lost; they along with everyone else knew they were Jews.

During the tribulation period, the four angels on the corners of the earth are admonished to “hurt not the earth…till we have sealed the servants of God in their foreheads…an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of Israel” (Rev. 7: 4).  Then they are all cited by their specific names: 12,000 from each tribe.  “Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand,” and so on for the rest: Reuben, Gad, Aser, Nepthalim, Mannaseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zabulon, Joseph, and Benjamin.  Twelve thousand from each tribe with a very special calling for the latter days.

They appear again in Revelation 14 where we see these 144,000 with the Lamb of God Himself!  They are about to do a great work in the earth.  They meet Christ on Mt. Sion, “which is Mt. Hermon,” 125 miles north of Jerusalem.  Again: These are not the Jews because they come out of all twelve tribes!

Now the Big Question

If it doesn’t matter whether the Lost Tribes are still in the earth, then why are they the very ones whom God will seal ?  How will they be called?  How will God’s prophecy concerning them be fulfilled if it doesn’t matter?

Bottom line: It does matter to the Creator.  We are told to “let this same mind be in you that was in Christ.”  As we get more of His thoughts and mind and Spirit, then we will begin to grasp the significance of finding and alerting the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel as to their destiny.  [To read more on this go here:   https://immortalityroad.wordpress.com/2010/12/06/finding-the-lost-sheep-of-the-house-of-israel-why-it-matters/ and here: https://immortalityroad.wordpress.com/2010/03/21/abraham-father-of-many-nations-but-which-nations-are-they/ They are just two of several articles on this subject.  For more go to “Categories” and scroll down and click “Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.”]   Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Finding the “Lost Sheep of the House of Israel”–Why It Matters, Part One

Why does it matter?  The short answer: Because it mattered to the Savior.  Christ said, “I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.”  He said that He was sent to them.  So then we must ask, If Christ is sent to them, and we are His followers because the Spirit of Christ dwells in us, then are not we sent to them, too?

Letting our understanding of spiritual things be the standard as to what is important to God is a weak position to be in.  Evidently He knows much better than we do as to fleshly Israel’s importance in the plan and purpose of God.  He also said that “man will give an account of every idle word spoken.”  I do not believe any of His words were useless, void, or idle.   They are important, whether I understand them at present or not.  Believing His words about the Lost Tribes of Israel propels us on our search for the meaning of His words, which is truth.

Some history is needed.  After the captivity of the House of Israel (Ten Tribes) )and the House of Judah (Two Tribes), Yahweh promised that He would make a new covenant or agreement with both Houses after their respective captivities around 721 B.C. and 600 B. C.  “I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the House of Judah…After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people…They shall all know Me” (Jer. 31: 31-34).

Wait a minute.  He through His prophet Jeremiah, 120 years after the northern Ten Tribed Kingdom was scattered by the Assyrians–He now utters a prophecy that He will indeed inhabit His chosen people placing His Spirit within their hearts and promising that they will be His people!  Nothing has changed in God’s heart.  What He does, He does forever.

The Question

How will He make this New Covenant with His Chosen people, who are the fleshly descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob if they are lost forever, especially unto themselves?  If they are not in the earth today, then the above prophecy in Jeremiah cannot be fulfilled.  And it simply must be fulfilled because He said that His word “shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (Isa. 55: 11).

Lost Forever?  Not so fast…

Yet the naysayers persist in saying that the old tribes of Israel are lost, thrown out into the dust heap of history and, therefore, are unfindable in the earth today.  And so they say, what’s the difference anyway?  In anticipation, as if to refute this thought, the Spirit through Jeremiah continues to speak, “Thus saith the LORD (Yahweh), which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars by night…If those ordinances depart from before me, saith Yahweh, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me foreverIf the heaven above can be measure, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel…” (v. 35-37).

Wow.  Homo ingnoramus has not measured the heavens nor the foundations of the earth, nor indeed can he.   Therefore, if we are to believe His word, He has not cast off all the children of the Twelve Tribes of Israel.  In fact, they are a nation today, only they do not go by “Israel”, obviously, for they are lost at present, according to His word.

[To be continued…]

“God Is a Spirit” Dwelling in Human Form (the Son)

Step Three that we are taking is obtaining the knowledge of what the essence of the Godhead truly is. We absolutely must know in a fuller way just who the true Supreme being is. We may think that we already know who He is, yet Paul says that godliness is a great mystery. If “few there be that find this way of truth,” then where does that leave the countless hundreds of millions of professing Christians who can’t agree on anything? Which “few” amongst the hundreds of millions are right?

We can sit tight thinking we have a pat hand when it comes to the knowledge of who He is, or we can remain open to further revelation. The former is truly dangerous, for if we think we have arrived and have not, and seek no further, we just may come up short. If we remain open, however, then even if we have all knowledge of Him, we cannot be hurt.

The Savior Yahshua said in John 7:37: “He that believes upon Me, as the scripture has said (the way that the written word really portrays the Savior), out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” The next verse states that He was talking about the Spirit that believers would receive after He was glorified. The Spirit just doesn’t come and manifest Himself if we have not believed on Yahshua the way the scripture has said that He really is. Then the Spirit will make Himself known, flowing and gushing out from within our innermost being like a mighty river. But we must know Him as He is truly portrayed in the scriptures. Those of us who do not come to the full truth of what He is like, who He is, and how He operates, will not have the privilege of the Spirit streaming out of our mouths, pouring out salvation unto this troubled world. We must seek to find out who He really is.

Father is God (Elohim)
We look to Yahshua to tell us truthfully about the Father, for grace and truth came by Him. He shared some major truth about the true nature and worship of the Father in John 4 to the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well. He asked her for a drink. When she hesitated because He was not from those parts, He said that if you knew who was asking you for a drink, you would have been asking Him for the rivers of living water, the Spirit. You would have asked…v. 10. He thought that she should have known that one needs to ask, and it shall be given. He modeled that behavior of “asking” by requesting a drink of her. He was thinking that if she really knew God, how He operates, then she would have asked of Him, and she would have received the Spirit, the living water. And once having drunk of the Spirit, it would have grown into “a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” (v. 14). It would have eventually led to immortality.

She then gives fleshly, conventional, non-spiritual wisdom as to the way man worships God. She says that her family has always been _________________ (you fill in the denomination, religion, organization, or affiliation). And we’ve always worshipped this way. Our fathers worshipped on this mountain. V. 20. “Mountain” denotes a physical location, place, or situation. You say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Again, we see a division into two camps, two traditions, two physical locations, two dogmas. Both are utterly devoid of spiritual truth; both are looking on the temporary fleshly things of man’s concept of worshipping and not His true way of worshipping Him.

The Savior then straightens her out and tells her that the Father is not worshipped in either geographical location. In fact, “you worship what you do not know,” but we know what we worship, for the truth was delivered to Jacob/Israel (v. 21-22; Psm. 149:19). “True worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him (23).” The Father, we now find out, is the one to worship (“We know what we worship…true worshippers shall worship the Father…”). The Father is seeking and searching for someone to worship Him in spirit and in truth. He is aching for someone to cut through all the garbage of false concepts and truly know who He is.

God is Spirit

In His very next breath Yahshua lets us know more fully who the Father is. God (Elohim) is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. 4:24, NEB. Wait a minute. In verse 23 it is the Father who is worthy of worship and is seeking true spiritual worshippers. Now in this verse Yahshua tells us that God is Spirit and we need to worship this Spirit in a true spiritual manner. Therefore, the One who we should worship is the Father, who is God the Supreme Being, who is Spirit. THE FATHER=GOD=SPIRIT.

Now we have established that the Father is God and that He is Spirit. Yahshua the Messiah is the image, the likeness of the invisible Spirit/God, who is the Father. And all fullness and all completeness of the Spirit (God) dwelt bodily in Yahshua. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell. Col. 1:19. Fullness and completeness is all there is. Therefore, all of the Godhead resided in the Messiah. All the fullness of Deity was there inside of him. God (the Spirit), who is the Father, dwelt bodily in Yahshua. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Col. 2:9. “Fullness” is defined as the state of being complete or full. The fullness of a gallon of milk is exactly 128 ounces. If the fullness of that gallon is poured into another container, then all of that gallon is in the other container. There is not any more anywhere else. All of the Godhead was in the Messiah. Yahweh, the Spirit/God of the Hebrews was in the Messiah. That is what made Yahshua the Messiah—all the Godhead/Spirit/Father—dwelling bodily within.

“For there is one God,” who is invisible, who is our Savior, and one mediator between this invisible Spirit-Father-God and men: Yahshua the Messiah. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen…For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour…For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Yahshua Messiah. I Tim. 1:17; 2:3, 5.And this God, the Spirit-Father, “was in Messiah, reconciling the world unto Himself.” II Cor. 5:19. Yahshua is the mediator [#3316, mesites, a go between, a mediator = one who stands between two sides, who is the medium for conciliation between the two]. The two here are Spirit and man. That is why God (Elohim), who is the Father and Spirit, poured Himself fully into a human vessel, and that Lamb “through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God” and thus cleansed our consciences so that we could serve and worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Purge Out the Old Leaven–To Become the Sons and Daughters of God

We have become the princes and princesses of God the King by our new spiritual birth.  We are in training to assume royal duties with Him upon His return to earth.

What should we be doing to get ready for this great responsibility?  We are admonished to “purge out the old leaven that the lump may be holy” (I Corinthians 5:7).

Leaven?  What does that mean?  Look.  Christ is the “bread of life.”  We have received His Spirit, and it is “no longer I that lives but Christ that lives in me.”  Therefore, we as His body are the “bread of life,” too, because of His presence within us.  But we come into this new life with some old concepts about God and the affairs of this world system that must be gotten rid of.  We have carried over in our thinking old doctrines, beliefs, traditions, and concepts.

Unleavened bread is “sincerity and truth” (I Cor. 5:8).  So, “leaven” must be insincerity and falsehoods.  Christ Himself told us to “beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy” (Luke 12:1).  Yes, “beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.”  The Pharisees were the religious leaders, and Herod was the political leader back in that day.  They are symbols of religious and political leaders today.  “There is no new thing under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9).  So, Christ is telling us to beware of them in our day, too.

To “purge out” the old leaven, we must be brutally honest with ourselves and “examine ourselves.”  We must be open to new truth; if we are not open, then we must believe that we have all truth already.  And if we think that way, then it will be very difficult for the Spirit to “guide us into all truth.”

No one except Him can help us get ready to rule with Him.  It is our responsibility to study and search out true concepts and get rid of false concepts about Him and His plan and purpose.  Like the “Reverend Mr. Black” said in song, “You gotta walk that lonesome valley; you gotta walk it by yourself.  Nobody else can walk it for you.  You gotta walk it by yourself.”

We must rid our minds of false religious and political concepts and take on the “mind of Christ” in order to “make our calling and election sure” as His princes and princesses.

“The U.S. Dollar Is Doomed,” Says Puru Saxena of Hong Kong Wealth Management

To understand what is happening to our economy, sometimes it takes a fresh set of eyes examining it from the outside.  This article explains what the Federal Reserve Bank is doing to our currency and how we all are affected:

“Austerity be damned, at this rate Mr. Bernanke will go down in the history books as one of the greatest money creators ever to have walked this planet!

Never mind sky-high deficits and a crushing debt overhang, at its most recent FOMC meeting, the Federal Reserve all but guaranteed another round of quantitative easing.

While the American central bank did not officially expand its quantitative easing program last month, it did reiterate its willingness to institute more aggressive monetary policy measures in order to combat the risks of deflation.  Furthermore, Mr. Bernanke did officially downgrade the Federal Reserve’s outlook for inflation.

The truth is that the US is insolvent and its policymakers will stop at nothing in order to avoid sovereign default.  So, it should come as no surprise that at its latest meeting, the Federal Reserve downplayed the risk of inflation, thereby setting the stage for another round of money creation.

Make no mistake; Mr. Bernanke has already created copious amounts of money. Granted, the Federal Reserve’s previous monetisation was highly secretive, but you can be sure that it did occur.  Allow us to explain:

You will recall that during the depths of the financial crisis, the Federal Reserve expanded its own balance-sheet and bought all sorts of toxic assets from the financial institutions.  By doing so, Mr. Bernanke created money out of thin air and bailed out the major banks.

Thus, the banks were able to dump their garbage assets on to the Federal Reserve and once they received the newly created cash in exchange for these securities, they loaned this money to the US government by purchasing US Treasuries.  In summary, in the previous round of quantitative easing, the Federal Reserve created new money and instead of lending it directly to the US government, it used the banking cartel as its conduit.  Back then, not only did the Federal Reserve create more than a trillion dollars, it also dropped its discount rate to almost zero; thereby allowing banks to borrow money cheaply!  It should be noted that since the banks were able to obtain such inexpensive funding from the Federal Reserve, they had absolutely no qualms about re-investing this capital in US Treasuries.

At first glance, the Federal Reserve’s stealth monetisation plan seemed flawless.  The banks offloaded their toxic assets on to the Federal Reserve, they made fortunes by investing in US Treasuries and the American government got access to a cheap source of funding.  Magic!

Despite the fact that this financial wizardry was a lifeline for American policymakers and their banking cronies, let there be no doubt that it was an unmitigated disaster for the American public.  Not only did the Federal Reserve nationalise the banks’ losses but more importantly, Mr. Bernanke’s money creation efforts have seriously undermined the viability of the US Dollar.

It is noteworthy that since bailing out the major banks and orchestrating the stealth monetisation, the Federal Reserve has been busy purchasing US Treasuries.  Furthermore, it is now almost certain that in next month’s FOMC meeting, Mr. Bernanke will unleash yet another round of quantitative easing.  In other words, in order to fund Mr. Obama’s out of control spending, Mr. Bernanke will create even more dollars out of thin air!  Allegedly, this new round of money creation will drive interest-rates lower, thereby helping the US economic recovery.  Or so the story goes.

Unfortunately, as any serious student of economic history knows, there is no such thing as a free lunch.  By adding trillions of additional dollars to the monetary stock, Mr. Bernanke may succeed in bailing out his friends in high places but he is seriously jeopardising the US Dollar.  In fact, bearing in mind the recent developments, it has become clear to us that the Federal Reserve wants to debase its currency.  In our humble opinion, the US Dollar is a doomed currency and there is a real risk of an abrupt plunge in its value.

If our assessment turns out to be correct and Mr. Bernanke unleashes the second phase of quantitative easing, you can be sure that the US Dollar will slide against most un-manipulated currencies (which are few and far between) and hard assets.  In fact, monetary inflation is the prime reason why we believe that the ongoing bull-market in stocks and commodities will continue for several more months.

Look.  The US economy is swimming in debt and the total obligations (including social security, Medicare and Medicaid) now come in at around 800% of GDP!  Furthermore, this year alone, Mr. Obama’s administration plans to spend another US$3.5 trillion, meanwhile the US Treasury will raise roughly US$2.2 trillion from issuing new government debt!  Clearly, these numbers are unsustainable and you can bet your bottom dollar that the Federal Reserve will end up buying a large proportion of the newly issued US Treasury securities.  As the American central bank funds more and more of Mr. Obama’s spending by creating new money, it will trash the value of its currency.  In fact, given the growing imbalance between the government’s spending and tax receipts, very high inflation is inevitable and even hyperinflation cannot be ruled out.

For the sake of their financial well being, it is crucial that investors understand that inflation or even hyperinflation is a monetary phenomenon and a strong economy is not a pre-requisite for the debasement of a national currency.  Whatever the reason, if a central bank decides to significantly increase the quantity of money in the system, that currency’s purchasing power will always diminish.  This is how fiat-money regimes have operated since the beginning of time and this era is no different.

It is interesting to note that throughout recorded history, the worst excesses of inflation occurred only in the 20th century.  Undoubtedly, this was a direct consequence of the adoption of fiat-money…” [To read more of this article that “highlights all the hyperinflationary episodes in recorded history” in chart form, go here: http://news.goldseek.com/GoldSeek/1287727560.php ]

He finishes by writing: “Unfortunately, the Federal Reserve and its allies have not finished inflating and over the following years, they will create even more confetti money.  Under this scenario, cash will continue to lose purchasing power and the asset poor middle-class will get even more impoverished.  If our assessment is correct, cash will prove to be a disastrous ‘asset’ over the next decade and once the Federal Reserve’s manipulation ends, fixed income securities will also depreciate in value.

Bearing in mind our grave concern about high inflation and the very real possibility of hyperinflation, we continue to favour hard assets such as precious metals and energy.  At present, we have allocated roughly half of our clients’ capital to these sectors and it is our belief that this should be an adequate inflation hedge.”

“Be Ye Perfect”–Christ’s Impossible Command?

Christ gave us this command to “be  perfect.”  And, of course, the knee jerk response comes, “Wait a minute.  With all due respect, that can’t be right.  Nobody’s perfect.  Nobody can be perfect.  So why would He give us a command that’s impossible to keep?”

This is where some will begin to toss Christianity into the trashcan, never realizing that ‘Be perfect’ is a paradox, which is ‘a statement seemingly absurd yet really true’ (Dictionary.com).

But some will dig down to a deeper level and find that one man was and is perfect–Christ.  And they’ll see that He was perfect because of the Spirit that filled Him.  And they’ll understand that He has now given His Spirit to the sons and daughters of God, who will realize that they can grow in faith where “it is no longer I that lives, but Christ that lives in me” (Galatians 2:20).

And armed with this knowledge, they will see that “with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).  They’ll see that the glass is not half empty nor half full, but brim full and running over with the living waters of His Spirit.

It will dawn on these princes and princesses of God that “no idle word” proceeds out of the mouth of God.  They’ll take this admonition to heart: “Let us go on unto perfection” (Hebrews 6:1-2).  And they’ll learn that there is so much more to God’s spiritual house than the foundation of “repentance from dead works and faith toward God,” which are the first steps of “newborn babes in Christ.”

They’ll realize that they have received in their hearts the seed of perfection.  Christ is that Seed.  And now that Seed is growing, for “one plants and another waters, and God gives the increase.”  This growth is likened to a planted seed of wheat or corn.  It comes up, “first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear.”  And then harvest will come when He will have been perfectly reproduced in us.  And we then in full maturity will have completed the life cycle of God.  And that is perfection.

The princes and princesses of God will realize this in the command: “Be perfect.”  For they will see these two words as His challenge to “overcome all things” and walk on down His road to the Heavenly City.  They will answer the challenge and embark on this quest for perfection.  Because He said to.              Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Simplifying the Worship of God–Offering the “Calves of Our Lips”

How does God want us to worship Him?  The biblical answer is really very simple, but humans lean to their own understanding and make it extremely complicated.

They put worshippers in the bondage of certain conditions and offerings and meetings three times a week where you have to come to the ‘house of the Lord’ because no other place will do and money, money, money and pilgrimages and forced prayer times and hocus pocus rituals and incense and holy water and fastings and observances and physical sprinklings and beads and prayercloths and sundayschool and bar mitzvahs and idols and images that ooze and gotta-read the Bible everyday and giving our children to be brainwashed into another manmade religion  and, and…

Is that what God wants us to do to worship Him?  To blindly follow what others have imagined that we should do?

God does not need us to give Him or His “ministry” money; He owns the whole earth and everything in it.  The only thing that He does not have is our grateful heart.  And that is all He wants.  He wants us to just sincerely thank Him and praise Him for all that He has done for us.

Why do we not thank Him?  It is because we do not believe that He has delivered us and saved us from a disastrous and futile existence.  He has already done this; all we must do is believe it.  He has delivered us from sin and from sinning.  All we need do is walk in His grace and mercy.  Those who do this will thank Him, for they know what a deep pit they have been lifted out of.  And they are thankful to Him for His love to them.

And so they continue to call upon Him in “the day of trouble,” and He delivers them, and they thank Him, and in so doing, together they create a circle of glorification of God.  God is glorified through us thanking Him (Psalm 50: 15).

We are admonished to “offer unto God thanksgiving” (v. 14) and to “offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually..the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name” (Hebrews 13: 15).

The thanksgiving and praise we give to God are the sacrifices we give to Him now in this present age.  Our offerings should not be money but thanks and praise.  We now should offer “the calves of our lips” instead of the animal sacrifices under the old testament (Hosea 14: 2).

We simply thank Him now, sincerely from a broken and contrite heart.”  And He hears us and has compassion on us and is near to us.  This is worshipping Him in Spirit and in truth.  KWH
