The Father’s Name Guards Us from the Evil–Do We Know It?

In Christ’s prayer recorded in John 17, the Father’s name takes center stage as to our relationship with the Father.

He said, “I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world…” (v. 6).  I have shown clearly thy name; I have made it apparent; I have made it known to them.  And they have believed that You have sent Me; they have kept My word, and they believe that it is You, Father, who is doing the works.  And they know that I came out of You, and that it is You who has sent Me (vs. 6-8).

Christ goes on to say that it is His followers that He is praying for and not the world because they are the Father’s, who has given them to Christ.  And the time has come, He is saying, for Him to depart out of the earth, leaving His followers.  So how will they remain in one mind and one accord with the Savior.  How will God keep them spiritually safe and sound after Christ departs?

The answer is through the knowledge of the Father’s name.  “Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given Me…” There is keeping power in the name of Yahweh.  The Greek word for “keep” means “to attend to carefully, to attend, to guard,” and is translated in other places as “to preserve.”  So, He is guarding us from the evil for this purpose—“that they may be one, as we are one” (vs. 9-11).  One could then say that we are never be fully one with God without knowing His name.

He goes on to say that while He was walking with them here on earth, He “kept them in thy name,” and none of them is lost except Judas Iscariot.  He “kept” them; He guarded them.  How?  By teaching them and showing them and revealing to them the Father’s name.  For in His name is the whole plan of God (v. 12).

Christ goes on to ask the Father to not give them an escape hatch “out of the world,” but rather guard and keep them from the evil.  “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one” (v. 15, NKJV) {Side note: That speaks against the rapture theory}.

Now some will say that this prayer is only for His twelve disciples, His  followers of that era.  But it is for all of us down through the ages.  “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word” (v. 20).  That’s us.  He was praying for you and me, so we can take these concepts to heart.

Consequently, if Christ is going “keep” and guard you and me from the evil by manifesting the Father’s name to us that we all may be one with Him, then how can that happen when very few Christians know that the Father’s name is Yahweh?

Christ’s desire is that all of us His followers “would be with Me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which You have given Me” (vs. 24).  He desires that we all “may be made perfect in one” (v. 23).  But we have to ask ourselves, How can this happen if a Christian doesn’t know the Father’s name Yahweh, which God uses to guard us from the evil?

And lastly in this prayer in John 17, Christ repeats, “And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it…”  For this specific reason: “That the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”  Let’s savor this.  He is saying, I have made known, shown clearly, Your name, Father, and I will continue to make it known, for this reason: That the same love You have loved Me with may be in My followers.  And that My very essence and Spirit of love may be in them!

Here the very love and presence of God is tied into the knowledge of God’s name.  His name means “The Self-Existent One” and Yahweh is the Savior, which is what the Son of God’s Hebrew name means—Yahshua.

Inside, God’s name contains and reveals the very nature of Himself.  God is Love.  Him being the Savior of His creation reveals or unveils His essence, which is Love.  For “greater love hath no man than this than to lay down his life for his friends.”  This essence of the greatest love on earth, giving your life to save someone else is implicit in the name of the Savior.  This is the reason that our hearts are touched and moved when we hear of someone giving up their own lives to save someone else.  It touches us because it is the heart of God and shows us what He has done, whether we realize it or not.

He guards us from the selfishness of the evil one, when we think on His name and how He gave His life for us.

For the great invisible Spirit Yahweh poured Himself into a human form so that He could express fully the love that is His essence.  It is through realizing this knowledge of His love contained in His name that we can receive that same love—that God, who is Love, may dwell in our hearts, and that He and His love would thrive and grow in our hearts, so that  we could make known who God is by the love exhibited through us to others.

And thus fulfill Christ’s prayer.  “I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”      Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Parable of the “Treasure Hid in a Field”–

Contrary to the teachings of the organized churches, the secrets of God are hidden from the masses that walk on the face of the earth.  The mysteries of His plan and purpose and kingdom are concealed from the vast majority and revealed to only but a few that He has chosen.  And God has hidden many of these secrets and mysteries in a handful of parables that the Great Teacher and our Savior Jesus (Yahshua) shared with us.  The elect’s ears will perk up at this knowledge, but most will think it is all foolishness.

Referring to the multitudes that followed them, the disciples asked Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”

And He replied, “Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them [the masses] it is not given.”  In essence He was saying, So I can freely speak and reveal those secrets to you whom I have chosen and the rest will not understand.  They can hear the words, but it will not make any sense to them; they will not understand what I am saying.  It is because their hearts are hardened through unbelief.  I am revealing the secrets to you the elect first, thus enabling you to be the first fruits unto the Father.  Then you will go and share with them those very secrets of My kingdom, and they will then respond.  “To every thing there is season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Mt. 13: 10-15; Eccl. 3: 1).

The Parable of the Hid Treasure

One of those parables containing the secrets of God is The Treasure Hid in a Field. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field” (Matt. 13: 44).

I had always thought that a Christian was the one searching for the treasure hidden in the field.  We know that “the field” is “the world” from verse 38.  So I had us Christians searching for the truth during our sojourn here on earth.

We, the children of God, are the treasure hidden in this old world.  The treasure is the elect, us, the sons and daughters of God, whose identity is hidden in this world.  We now have the Spirit; “we have this treasure in earthen vessels.”  He refers to His chosen people as His “peculiar treasure.”  “For the LORD         (YAH, [H3050 in Strong’s] has chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure” (Psm. 135: 4).  God promises the children of Jacob/Israel that if they obey His voice and keep His covenant, then they will be His “peculiar treasure unto me of all people” (Ex. 19: 5).  Those that fear God are that special treasure, His “jewels” [same word in Hebrew] that He will spare, “as a man spares his own son that serves him” (Mal. 3: 17).  Malachi speaks, of course, to the end time just before Christ returns to set up His kingdom, which all goes hand in hand with the parables.

And His people are hidden in this world.  We have a new life in Christ where all the “old things are passed away.”  We are now “dead and our life is hid with Christ in God” (Col. 3: 3).  His children are His secret treasure in the world.

Christ is “the man” in the parable who finds us.  We were lost, and now we have been found.  Christ said, “I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the House of Israel”—sent to seek and save that which was lost.  And He for now “hides us” spiritually for a season.

The “field” is the world.  We “are in the world, but not of the world.”

We find in the parable of the tares and wheat, that the elect are in and among the tares (imposters), the children of the wicked one.  Both are growing together at present.  The tares, the counterfeit “people of God” look very much like the true children of God.

In this parable the man, Christ, when He finds the treasure (us), then He “sells all that He has.”  2,000 years ago here on earth He had glory and honor and prestige, striding the earth doing miracles.  But He did not restore the Kingdom at that time.  He gave up all earthly glory, and in fact, renounced it.  He humbled Himself and suffered a brutal death so that He could “buy” the world, or save it.  He redeemed us and saved the whole world, using His blood as payment.  Now He wants us to “bear about in the (our) body” His dying.  Now in us He “shows forth His death” by our self-denial.  We, in turn, then “sell all that we have” in our petty natural earthly existence and, along with Him within us, buy the world.

Gold Tried in the Fire–Overcomers and the Time of the End

Somebody at the end of this age will sit down with the Savior on His throne.  They will be rulers with Him during the 1,000 year reign right here on earth.  This is promised by Him.

This promise of kingly rulership for some of His followers is conditional.  During the last age of the church just before His return, His followers will be lukewarm in their service to Him.  They will think that because they are affluent in material things, that they are rich in spiritual things.  They will take pride in “knowing God,” and they will say that they spiritually “have need of nothing.”  But they do not know that they are in His eyes “wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind and naked” (Rev. 3: 14-17).

They do not know that their faith in Him is a poor approximation, a poor substitute for His vibrant faith.  They do not have the higher richer knowledge of His plan and purpose.  Consequently they are spiritually blind and naked.

And so, He counsels them to  buy from Him three things that will correct their spiritual deficiencies: “gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness does not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see” (v. 18).

And then He makes an astounding promise to them.  If anyone in this end time age hears His voice concerning these matters, and hears His knock on their door, He will come in and have a feast with them, sharing intimate details of His soon coming kingdom.  And then the promise: “To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne” (v. 22).  Now you’ve got to have an ear that is attuned for these things.  He says if you do, then hear what the Spirit is saying to you about these things (v. 22).

So, the first thing we need is the “gold tried in the fire” (1).  We know that this gold is our faith and belief in God.  We believe in Him, having never seen Him nor the outcome of His kingdom plan, for faith is the “evidence of things not seen” (2).  It is like the Holy Spirit, which is invisible but is “leading us into all truth” and thereby comforts us as the Comforter” (3).

The “gold tried in the fire” that we are to “buy” from the Savior is the purification of our faith/belief through trials and temptations, “if need be.”  Most of us will need the times of  “chastening” that He will give unto His elect–the ones who He has chosen to sit with Him in His throne (4).  This chastening is in the form of correction.

This fire that purifies our faith is much like the pruning of the vine that Christ speaks about (5).  And what He lops off of us is the old erroneous concepts about Him that we have learned from those who taught us in the past.

“Purge out the old leaven that the lump may be holy” is a similar concept (6). Spiritual leaven is what puffs us up.  He calls leaven hypocrisy, insincerity, falsehoods, and misconceptions.

Those that submit themselves to the Spirit/Teacher and endures this fire, pruning, chastening, and purging–they will be the ones that will overcome in this the Laodicea Church Age.  They will be the ones who “humble themselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” (8).  Yes, exalt you.  And there is no greater exaltation than to share in the glory of sitting with Him on His throne!

This glory, this exaltation that some will receive–this honor will only come to those who pass the fire test.  To illustrate this, two scenarios are presented to us.  Which is the more difficult to accept?  A rant that denies that Christ is the Savior or a doctrinal fine point that you’ve never heard before?  It is new to you, but there it is in black and white in the Bible.  Yet, you have never heard it or seen it before.  In fact, to receive this new teaching, you must admit that you did not have the whole truth.  And this takes humility, which is the ability to be taught of Him and His Spirit.

For He did say, “The Spirit of truth will guide us into all truth.”  So, the Spirit, to fulfill this verse, must take us to truth that we do not already have (9).

The elect who will sit with Him on His throne will be the teachable ones, the humble ones, the hungry ones.  For having to humble ourselves is a fire that will purify our faith, our gold, our belief.  It will purge out pride in our prior knowledge about God.  And these overcomers will come out on the other side unto “praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Yahshua the Anointed One” (10).  And this “appearing” is the same word translated “the manifestation of the sons of God,” which is the appearing of Christ in us!  The unveiling of the sons of God.  The whole creation is groaning and travailing for them to come onto the scene, for God will save this planet through them!  If you have an ear that can hear, then hear it and walk in it (Rom. 8: 18-19).

The humility of a child

But it is going to take the humbleness of a little child for us to overcome in the last days.  “Whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven,” said the Master (Matt. 18: 4).  The greatest in any kingdom is the King and His sons and daughters, the princes and princesses.  But in God’s kingdom it takes humbleness to be the greatest–like a little child.

And why are we to be like a little child?  Because they don’t think that they already know it all.  The wonder of discovery of the earth and its natural beauty fills their eyes and ears.  They know that they don’t know it all, for they are too busy learning. That is why adults are so drawn to them; we are hoping that a bit of that wonderdust that a child collects like bees do pollen might fall on us, that we could experience just one more time that spontaneous burst of uninhibited joy brought by the “splendor in the grass and the glory of the flower.”

So now God is calling us to be “as newborn babes” and little children, to have a newfound wonder of the spiritual realm of our heavenly calling.  He is asking His future overcomers to be open to Him as He shows them new wonders that far eclipse those earthly wonders.

Listen.  Quit thinking our own thoughts for a moment and let us just listen to that “still small voice” that is talking to us.  Can we hear His voice whispering to us?  Can we hear Him faintly knocking?  We won’t be able to hear Him is our thoughts are all we hear.  Listen.  He is calling us.

And if we humble ourselves, He will show us the unglimpsed and unheard wonders that “God has prepared for those who love Him” (11).  He’ll show us His government that will transform this earth, purging it from all evil and hatred and suffering, and creating on it a holy habitation for the Righteous King of kings, our Savior Yahshua.  But He will only show these wonders to the humble ones, to those who listen to Him, to the overcomers.

True Overcomers Will Continue Steadfastly in the Apostles Doctrine

There is a great awakening happening in the Christian world.  God is planting a hunger in some for the “greater works” that He promised His followers would do.  These brothers and sisters long for that same spiritual walk that the early apostles had.  But many are not following the steps laid out by those very early apostles, which serve as our example.

In other words, if we want the same spiritual experiences in our lives that they had, then we must follow the same steps that those apostles took.  We must know the same things, study the same things, speak the same words, and do the same things that they did.

Scripturally speaking, what did those early apostles study, speak about, know and do?  “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine, and fellowship, and breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2: 42).  The foremost paramount thing that they did was that they stayed in the apostles doctrine.  They stuck exclusively with the teachings of the Apostle Christ.  And then they had fellowship.  If you don’t have the “apostles doctrine” you don’t have real fellowship because it is going to be the Word.  And then there was “breaking of bread.”  Yes, earthly bread, but more importantly, they shared these teachings, which is the bread of life, with each other.  And then they continued to pray, for their communication to God was a sweet savor to His nostrils, for it was in accordance with His true teachings.

But what is the doctrine of the early apostles?

What were the teachings that the early apostles continued steadfastly in?  How are we to know who the true teachers of God are?

Teachers of God will expound His way, while false prophets and false teachers will veer off into doctrines that seem like they are relevant to God’s plan, but they don’t line up with the doctrines that the apostles taught.  The true teachers are gifts to mankind from God (Ephesians 4: 11).  They are precious and very few in number.  If we seek, we will find one, and we will hold them dear.

But how can we tell the true from the false?  The true teachers will have a grasp of the apostles’ doctrine, which is the doctrine of Christ.  They will realize that “whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God” (2 John 1: 9).  So it is extremely  important to abide in Christ’s teachings.  But what is that doctrine?

The apostle Paul knew and followed it and reveals it to us in Hebrews 6: 1-2.  He is urging his readers to grow up into Christ and stop playing around with other teachings that do not yield the fruit of becoming like Christ.  “Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgement.”

There it is laid out for all of us to see.  In order to go on to perfection, which is the completed spiritual growth of “Christ in you,” we need to stop laying again the foundation of repentance of sin, faith toward God, the baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgement.  These are the teachings that the early apostles continued in.  And these are the teachings that we all in our latter rain era must know and do thoroughly.

These teachings are what the early apostles talked about.  Take the teaching about baptisms.  That’s plural.  Many talk of their immersion in the Holy Spirit but have no idea about the “baptism into His death” (Romans 6: 3).  It is this baptism that opens up the other baptisms.  This is where the old self, your old Adamic nature dies with Christ on the cross in revelation, where you can truly walk in a newness of life as a “new creature” where all things are become new!  Why don’t we Christians talk about that?  Especially those who teach His word?  The early apostles did! And the doctrine of “the resurrection of the dead” comes into focus  for us and in us, “For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this that our old man is crucified with Him” (Rom. 6: 5-6).  Here “faith toward God” and believing in the resurrection of Christ, lead to us believing that we too can live a life free from sin and sinning.  Here we see three of the apostles doctrines in action.  But these are the elementary principles, the foundation of the house of God, which is us His body.  And very few talk about these teachings.  Is it because no one is teaching them?

This is the “breaking of bread,” the sharing of the word and promises of God that the early apostles fellowshipped in.  If your fellowship is not discussing and sharing these teachings aforementioned, then something is missing.  And that something is the doctrine of Christ.

For not many are teaching Romans 6, and if it is read at all, it is not believed.  But the true teachers sent from God will teach it and believe it and will be solid in it, as a foundation built upon the rock.

They will know how to explain in detail how one repents, how faith works in us receiving a new heart.  In short, they will have true knowledge of the “principles of the doctrine of Christ” (Hebrews 6: 1-2).

Yet they will also know that one must leave those first principles in order to “go on unto perfection.” The Spirit that is within them will “lead us into all truth.”  They will know that it is Christ in them who actually is the real Teacher.

Many fellowships talk about wanting the same power as the early church in the book of The Acts of the Apostles.  They see the miracles and wonders performed and long for that same divine power to hold sway on the earth today.  They want, however, to circumvent the procedure used in those enlightened days right after Christ’s resurrection.  They want to accept Christ, be baptized, and then they want to set the world on fire with God’s power.  They think that visions and dreams replace the rock solid foundation of the apostles doctrine and teachings.

Before the miracles come from God, pre-requisites must be done. “And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.  And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles” (Acts 2:42-43).  Here you see the progression of things: the doctrine, fellowship, breaking bread, prayers, fear of God, and then came the wonders and signs.

“We Don’t Want Doctrine–Just Jesus”

It was the apostles’ doctrine that the early converts stayed in.   They did those teachings.  For “doctrine” is translated from the Greek word didaskalia, which means “teaching; that which is taught.”  Beware of those who will say, “We don’t want doctrine, we just want Jesus/Yahshua!”  If they could only realize that the Savior Himself was referred to as a “Didaskalos,” meaning “Teacher, Master.”  The same root word!  People who say, “We don’t want doctrine” are really saying they do not want the real Christ and what He taught.

The true teachers of God will teach true repentance from sin in one’s life and how faith works to give us a new heart and new spirit that pleases God in not sinning against Him.  And this is just the first principles “of the doctrine of Christ” (Hebrews 6: 1-2).

So, turn away from anyone who doesn’t teach the apostles’ doctrine, that says that you cannot be a righteous son or daughter of God.  Don’t believe them.  They will try to drag you down into the same spiritual slop that they are stuck in.  Find yourself a true teacher and study out the apostles’ doctrine, for those are the teachings of Christ.      Kenneth Wayne Hancock

The Spirit of God and the Spirit of Antichrist—How to Tell the Difference

The human mind of a child of God wants to be sure—wants to not be deceived, wants to know that what is said to it is sincere and true.  It is our nature for this to be—nothing less than the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help us God.

And this is especially so when it comes to religious things.  Any time someone tries to tell us something about God, we fairly bristle with our protective coating—shielding us from a possible onslaught of deceptive devilish communication.  We don’t want to be deceived and are so afraid of being so used that we just might miss a true word from God.  We are, after all, warned by the prophets and apostles about false teachers and false prophets, “who shall bring in damnable heresies,” said Peter.  Unfortunately, many will see a teaching new to them as false simply because it did not come from “our church.”  Little do they know that many false teachings like the prosperity doctrine, the rapture, cheap grace, Christian sinners, not to mention the hocus-pocus heresies of the church of Rome–these not only stunt the babe in Christ, but they will shipwreck and sink the new Christian.

How Can We Be Sure?

Consequently, how can we know for sure what thought is from God and what is not—what is from the Spirit and what is from the spirit of antichrist?  There is a passage of scripture that tells us how to discern between the two.  This scripture shows us how you will know if it is the Spirit of God speaking through a human being or not, or if that uninvited thought that seemingly pops into our mind is from God or not.  “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God; and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God” (I John 4:2-3).

In order to know what these verses mean, we must know that “Jesus” was not the Savior’s actual name [See my books which you can find at the top of this page.  Just click “Ebook…”].  His true name contained the Father’s name, for he came in His Father’s name.  His name was Yahshua, which means “Yah, the Self-Existent One, is Savior” and is the same name as the patriarch Joshua.  So, looking at this again, we see that the person who confesses that Yah is the Savior and the Anointed One and is come into His human abode in the Messiah—that person has the Spirit of God.

Denying that the great Spirit Yahweh was in the flesh of the Messiah Yahshua is the spirit of antichrist.  They are anti-christ, or against this Anointing, which is truth (I John 2: 27).

We must always remember: The Messiah’s name was to be called “Immanuel”–meaning “God with us” (Isa. 7: 14; Matt. 1: 23).  Yahweh with us.  Yahweh in human form walking in our midst.  Believing that in its simplicity opens the doors to His heart.  All the other mumbo jumbo of so-called Christianity is so much manmade window dressing, ‘signifying nothing.’

We must all go back to the “simplicity that is in Christ.”  “Simplicity” here means “absence from pretense” with a sincere belief in the truth that is in Christ.  And that truth is that the great invisible Spirit called Yahweh by the patriarchs took up His abode in His Son, and they are one, and He will rule the literal Kingdom of God forever and ever–right here on earth (Luke 1: 32-33).

This sincere belief is the bow that will launch us as His arrows toward the glorious target of eternity–straight and true, just like He planned in the beginning.  It will help us discern the Spirit of God and the spirit of the wicked one.   Kenneth Wayne Hancock

“The Father’s Heart” Chapter 15 of the Book YAH-IS-SAVIOR: THE ROAD TO IMMORTALITY

Step Four—Knowledge of the Father’s Heart—His Plan and Purpose

“I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill my will.” Acts 13: 22.

 “The counsel of Yahweh standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” Psalms 33:11-12.

 Chapter 15  The Father’s Heart

 We are learning that the Savior’s Hebrew name is Yahshua, which means Yah-Is-Savior.  And we are learning  that He is the Road to Immortality. And we have learned that the steps along that Road are degrees of Wisdom and Knowledge about Him. We learned in “Step One” that Wisdom is to be in awe of the Creator—to have a reverential respect and trust for Him. In “Step Two” we learned the Knowledge of His true name and what it means to us on this way. “Step Three” gave us the Knowledge of God’s nature, His eternal Godhead—just who He is. We are now ready to take Step Four: Knowledge of His Eternal Plan and Purpose.

 “Step Four” is perhaps the biggest step, for it stretches our small hearts and minds and enlarges them so that they can be able to see through God’s eyes. “My thoughts are not your thoughts, saith Yahweh.”  We must realize that God has His own agenda. We humans have our own agenda, too. We are like Him in that we have a purpose for our own life. But very few of us have the same purpose for our lives as does our Heavenly Father. And herein lies the problem—for us. He has a Master design and purpose in making us and everything else in this universe, yet He is willing to use much patience in waiting for us, His crowning creation, to come into line with His purpose.

 His purpose is clear and straightforward: He is reproducing Himself through a select group of human beings. Yes, He loves us and wants to save us from our selves and our selfish desires and actions. But that is only a very small part of His eternal purpose and plan—a tiny piece of the cosmic puzzle that is His heart.

 What is in the Father’s heart? What desires lie there waiting to be manifested? The answer lies in the word “Father.” “Father” implies engendering, procreating, reproducing, for there cannot be a father except there be offspring. Or to state it in another way, one must have offspring in order to be a Father.

Now many claim that God is their Father. Almost all of the untold thousands of denominations of Christendom assent to that. They want to claim Him as their Father and yet deny the law of harvest He spoke into existence: “Each seed bears its own kind.” If they were His children, then they would be like Him; they would have His mind. They would share the secret desires of His heart by having the same plan and purpose that He has. The Father’s heart contains His plan and purpose: to reproduce Himself until He fills the whole universe with Himself. And He has created mankind to be the instruments that He will use to do this. He will use only His crowning creation Man to manifest Himself through.

”John the Baptist–The Forerunner of Yahweh”–Chapter 14 of the book YAH IS SAVIOR: THE ROAD TO IMMORTALITY

The central revelation of scripture is that Yahweh of the old books came in human form as Yah-Is-Savior or Yahshua, known to the world as Jesus Christ.  To further prove this, we need only go to the Messiah’s forerunner, John the Baptist.  Everyone knows that John came in the spirit and power of Elijah and pointed the multitudes to the Messiah.

We learned earlier that the Spirit of the Messiah was in the prophets.  His Spirit speaks through them.  The voice of John was crying in the wilderness telling the people to prepare Yahweh’s way in the earth.  “The voice of him that cries in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” Isaiah 40: 3.  We definitely know that this is speaking of John the Baptist because Matthew quotes this passage in his gospel.  “For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 3: 3.

Examining this we see that John was saying for them to prepare “the way of the LORD.”  Matthew quotes Isaiah who wrote down the original prophecy that John would fulfill.  We have already proven above that “the LORD” is the title that the translators chose to substitute for “Yahweh,” the Hebrew name of God.  Yahweh is, in fact, the very name of the Creator, our Maker, the Ruler of heaven and earth (see above in Ex. 3: 15 where Moses was told that Yahweh was His “name forever and is my memorial unto all generations”).  Now let us read this passage that John was fulfilling again: “Prepare ye the way of Yahweh (the LORD).

John the Baptist, when he fulfilled this prophecy in Isaiah, knew perfectly well who was arriving on the scene.  He certainly knew who he was announcing.  I was none other than Yahshua, the Anointed One, the Messiah.  He was saying, Prepare the way of Yahweh.  He is coming in human form–in a human flesh body.  Yahweh is come to save His people from their sins.  Yah-in-human-form is Yahweh’s way to give man hope in the resurrection.  The appearance of Yah in a human flesh body, is the way Yahweh makes Himself known to His creation (“I and my Father are one…If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father”).

John the Baptist was that voice of one, the forerunner of Yahweh and His coming in human flesh.  “Prepare the way of Yahweh.  Make His paths straight.”  Those are Yahweh’s paths, where He would be walking literally in human form.  Jesus/Yahshua (Yah-Is-Savior is what it means in Hebrew) is His way; He is the way, the path, the course leading us from death to life, from mortality to immortality.  Yahshua/Yah-Is-Savior is The Road to Immortality, which happens to be the title of this book.

John was the forerunner of Yahweh.  He was the last of the old testament prophets, for he announced the blessed appearance of Yahweh in human form.  He was the herald of the fulfilling of all the prophecies of all the other prophets of olden times.  He was more than a prophet, for it was John who bore witness to Yahweh’s coming as the Messiah.

Everyone will tell you that Isaiah 9: 6 speaks of the Messiah, the one they call Jesus Christ.  “Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given…and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.”  The Everlasting Father?  The Christ child would grow up to become the “Everlasting Father”? 

Everyone will tell you that John was the forerunner of Christ the Messiah.  And all will tell you that Isaiah 9: 6 speaks of Christ.  Therefore, John was the herald of “The Everlasting Father,” Yahweh Himself–in human form!

“God Is a Spirit”–Chapter 13 of YAH IS SAVIOR: The Father is Spirit Dwelling in Human Form (the Son)

Step Three that we are taking is obtaining the knowledge of what the essence of the Godhead truly is. We absolutely must know in a fuller way just who the true Supreme being is. We may think that we already know who He is, yet Paul says that godliness is a great mystery. If “few there be that find this way of truth,” then where does that leave the countless hundreds of millions of professing Christians who can’t agree on anything? Which “few” amongst the hundreds of millions are right? 

We can sit tight thinking we have a pat hand when it comes to the knowledge of who He is, or we can remain open to further revelation. The former is truly dangerous, for if we think we have arrived and have not, and seek no further, we just may come up short. If we remain open, however, then even if we have all knowledge of Him, we cannot be hurt. 

The Savior Yahshua said in John 7:37: “He that believes upon Me, as the scripture has said (the way that the written word really portrays the Savior), out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” The next verse states that He was talking about the Spirit that believers would receive after He was glorified. The Spirit just doesn’t come and manifest Himself if we have not believed on Yahshua the way the scripture has said that He really is. Then the Spirit will make Himself known, flowing and gushing out from within our innermost being like a mighty river. But we must know Him as He is truly portrayed in the scriptures. Those of us who do not come to the full truth of what He is like, who He is, and how He operates, will not have the privilege of the Spirit streaming out of our mouths, pouring out salvation unto this troubled world. We must seek to find out who He really is.

 We look to Yahshua to tell us truthfully about the Father, for grace and truth came by Him. He shared some major truth about the true nature and worship of the Father in John 4 to the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well. He asked her for a drink. When she hesitated because He was not from those parts, He said that if you knew who was asking you for a drink, you would have been asking Him for the rivers of living water, the Spirit. You would have asked…v. 10. He thought that she should have known that one needs to ask, and it shall be given. He modeled that behavior of “asking” by requesting a drink of her. He was thinking that if she really knew God, how He operates, then she would have asked of Him, and she would have received the Spirit, the living water. And once having drunk of the Spirit, it would have grown into “a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” (v. 14). It would have eventually led to immortality.

 She then gives fleshly, conventional, non-spiritual wisdom as to the way man worships God. She says that her family has always been _________________ (you fill in the denomination, religion, organization, or affiliation). And we’ve always worshipped this way. Our fathers worshipped on this mountain. V. 20. “Mountain” denotes a physical location, place, or situation. You say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Again, we see a division into two camps, two traditions, two physical locations, two dogmas. Both are utterly devoid of spiritual truth; both are looking on the temporary fleshly things of man’s concept of worshipping and not His true way of worshipping Him.

 The Savior then straightens her out and tells her that the Father is not worshipped in either geographical location. In fact, “you worship what you do not know,” but we know what we worship, for the truth was delivered to Jacob/Israel (v. 21-22; Psm. 149:19). “True worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father also does seek such to worship Him (23).” The Father, we now find out, is the one to worship (“We know what we worship…true worshippers shall worship the Father…”). The Father is seeking and searching for someone to worship Him in spirit and in truth. He is aching for someone to cut through all the garbage of false concepts and truly know who He is.

 God is Spirit

In His very next breath Yahshua lets us know more fully who the Father is. God (Elohim) is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. 4:24, NEB. Wait a minute. In verse 23 it is the Father who is worthy of worship and is seeking true spiritual worshippers. Now in this verse Yahshua tells us that God is Spirit and we need to worship this Spirit in a true spiritual manner. Therefore, the One who we should worship is the Father, who is God the Supreme Being, who is Spirit. THE FATHER=GOD=SPIRIT.

Now we have established that the Father is God and that He is Spirit. Yahshua the Messiah is the image, the likeness of the invisible Spirit/God, who is the Father. And all fullness and all completeness of the Spirit (God) dwelt bodily in Yahshua. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell. Col. 1:19. Fullness and completeness is all there is. Therefore, all of the Godhead resided in the Messiah. All the fullness of Deity was there inside of him. God (the Spirit), who is the Father, dwelt bodily in Yahshua. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Col. 2:9.

“Fullness” is defined as the state of being complete or full. The fullness of a gallon of milk is exactly 128 ounces. If the fullness of that gallon is poured into another container, then all of that gallon is in the other container. There is not any more anywhere else. All of the Godhead was in the Messiah. Yahweh, the Spirit/God of the Hebrews was in the Messiah. That is what made Yahshua the Messiah—all the Godhead/Spirit/Father—dwelling bodily within.

 

“For there is one God,” who is invisible, who is our Savior, and one mediator between this invisible Spirit-Father-God and men: Yahshua the Messiah. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen…For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour…For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Yahshua Messiah. I Tim. 1:17; 2:3, 5.

And this God, the Spirit-Father, “was in Messiah, reconciling the world unto Himself.” II Cor. 5:19. Yahshua is the mediator [#3316, mesites, a go between, a mediator = one who stands between two sides, who is the medium for conciliation between the two]. The two here are Spirit and man. That is why God (Elohim), who is the Father and Spirit, poured Himself fully into a human vessel, and that Lamb “through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God” and thus cleansed our consciences so that we could serve and worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Moses Wrote about Christ–How “He Opened to Us the Scriptures”–Chapter 12 of the Book, YAH IS SAVIOR

Let’s take a little quiz at this time.  Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible, the torah.  He penned down many proper nouns, which are names of particular persons, places and things.  Now the question: Which proper noun did he write down over 1,700 times in the first five books of the Bible?                              

     Answer: Yahweh.  He wrote the proper noun Yahweh down hundreds and hundreds of times.  Yahweh in the Garden of Eden.  Yahweh at the Tower of Babel.  Yahweh communing with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  Yahweh face to face with Moses himself.  And many more appearances.

     And we learned in Chapter 11 that the Pharisees were searching the scriptures, which included the law and the prophets, or Moses’ writings and the writings of the prophets.  The Messiah continues on confronting their unbelief.  He tells them that they are hinging all their hopes onto the sayings and writings of Moses, and they are rejecting Him.  And the  irony  is  that  Moses  wrote  about Yahweh, the Savior.   He  wrote about the very One that the Phar-isees had written off.  “But do not think I will accuse you before the Father.  Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set.  If you believed  Moses,  you  would  believe  me,  for  he wrote about me.  But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?” John 5:45-47. 

     He was telling them, You believe what Moses wrote when you believe what I say.  Just that simple, for He wrote about Me! Every type and shadow points to Me, Yahweh-in-human-form!  The Master is speaking about the hardest unbelief there is—not believing that it is Yahweh dwelling within His human form.  They did not believe Moses; they said they did, but they had deceived themselves in their own concepts of what Moses was saying in the torah.  Moses wrote of me.  Moses wrote down Yahweh’s name 1,700 times!  That’s how much Moses wrote of the Savior. The revelation is this: Moses wrote about Yahweh, who is the same Spirit that dwelt fully in Yahshua, the Messiah.

How the scriptures will open    

     The Master mentions Moses’ writings again.  After His resurrection He joins two of His followers walking dejectedly down the road to a village named  Emmaus. They were prevented from recognizing Him as they spoke. He asked them what they were so down about.  And they basically said that the prophet they had been following had been killed by the chief priests and rulers.  And besides, it had been three days now and they had not seen hide nor hair of him.

    And then He said this unto them. How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!  Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?  And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself. Luke 24:25-27.  He has just said that all of the writings of Moses and the prophets were writings about Himself.  And we know that they wrote of Yahweh.

     What Moses and all the prophets were writing about was Yahweh’s glorious coming to this earth in a flesh body to become the Savior of His creation.  That’s what the scriptures are about!  That is what the Master just said. 

     The Master, to finish the story, went on to the next village with them.  Still not recognizing Him, they encouraged Him to stay with them and eat.  During the meal they finally recognized Him, and then He disappeared. Then they asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” Luke 24:32.  The scriptures open when we realize that they speak of Yahweh coming in human form!

     Many do not understand and therefore do not read the Bible because it is closed to them.  He will open the scriptures to us just like He did to those two on the road to Emmaus, when we believe that Yahweh of the “Old Testament” is clothed in human flesh and is really the Messiah of the “New Testament.” {The previous sentence will only be revealed to us if He opens the scriptures to us—if He shows us who He really is.}

For Those Weaned from the Milk of the Word and Want the Meat

God’s great eternal plan is this: He is bringing many sons and daughters unto Himself.  They will do the ‘greater works’ that Christ promised some of His followers would do. 

  That is His purpose and plan, to multiply Himself.  After all, He is the Seed, the Word, made flesh, and falling into the ground and dying, and thereby bringing forth much fruit.  That is what the Son {the Father/Spirit Yahweh clothed in a human form} said, and He is the Seed.

Two things stand out on this quest for the truth.  First: Oneness, not a Trinitarian concept.  There is Father, yes, Son, yes, and Holy Spirit, but they are not three distinct persons.  In other words, there are not three of them sitting up there in the throneroom.  The Father is the Holy Spirit, and He is invisible, and He dwells now in the glorified heavenly body [I Cor 15: 35-50], which is our destiny upon His return to earth.

Second: Knowing His true name unlocks the door to answered prayer.  But just knowing that the God of the ancient Hebrew partriarchs was Yah or Yahweh and the Son Yahshua is not enough.  We must know what the names mean.  Utmost importance. 

Beware of this one thing:  Most who are finding out about the sacred names of God are being led away into “Hebrew roots movement.”  This is a trap because they are seduced away from the oneness of God;  they are taught that there is a ‘twinity’ and not a trinity.  They are also led away by teachers of the law.  Now this sounds noble and good, but we humans cannot work real hard to ‘keep the law’ and thereby be more accepted by God.  No.  We must die with Christ, receive a new heart and the Spirit, grow in grace, walk in His word, and grow up into the sons and daughters of God who will do the ‘greater works’ that the Savior Yahshua did!  This will not be done by very meticulous sincere people trying in their own strength to keep the laws of God.  The Law [10 commandments] ‘are not made for a righteous man, but the unrighteous.’  His Spirit in us is quite capable of keeping the law by us believing He can.  Faith.  It is elemental to our walk with Him…Just a heads up on your walk.  Kenneth Wayne Hancock….[for more read my books found here at the top of my blog].
