Coming to Grips with the Sovereignty of God

To fully understand the vision of the immortal sons and daughters of God, one must come to grips with God’s sovereignty.  God is totally in control.  He is sovereign.  He rules.  He is in complete charge of every-thing that is happening in our respective lives.  He is the Supreme Authority in everything that is happening to any and everyone here on earth.  And He does as He pleases without our permission.

God is in complete control of everything that is taking place in and through the governments of man here on earth.  He is ruling as I write this and as you read this.  Nothing is happening at this instant here on earth that He is not aware of and that He has not ordained and pre-determined to happen.

He is in total charge of the powers that be here on earth.  “The powers that be are ordained by God.”   He has provided for their rise to power and has helped them to accumulate wealth and influence.  Everything that is happening at this instant, or that ever has happened, is a result of God’s sovereign desire and control.

The old hymn goes, “Thou art the Potter, I am the clay…Have thine own way…” We sing it, but what His awesome sovereignty entails escapes our little finite minds.  Our Creator is the Divine Potter at His wheel.  He sits down, and with the earth He has created, He fashions containers from clay, vessels to be used at His convenience and His discretion.  He is in charge of making the vessels   and  pots.   He  molds  and  shapes  these  human beings in accordance with His own desires and purposes.  They, for the most part, do not understand most of the time what He is doing, for His ways are difficult for His creation to comprehend.  He is the Potter  and is fashion-ing from the same lump some pots to be used for everyday water containers and wash pots.  And some are done with the Master’s finest touch to be beautiful and of fine design, fit for the use of being kings and queens.  And some clay vessels may never make it to the kiln for firing.  Some are shaped and then returned to the original large lump, never to be fashioned like that again.

But some people do not like the way life is treating them.  In other words, they do not like the cards that God has dealt them.  When they find out that God is the one in control and has mercy on whomever He desires to have mercy, they do not like it.   They lash out at Him and His sovereignty and say, If He made us this way, “then why does God still blame us?  For who resists his will?”  To which the apostle Paul replies, “But who are you, O man, to talk back to God?  Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, Why did you make me like this?  Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?” Romans 9:18-21, NIV.

Remember.  He is sovereign and can and does do what He wants to do with His creation.  But we humans think that we are in charge of our own lives.  No matter how insignificantly we stride upon the world stage, we think that we are formidable and of great importance.

And those humans whom He  has chosen to be kings and rulers in the world system—how high and lifted up they stand.  Take King Nebuchadnezzar as an example.  He was the famous king of the Neo-Babylonian Empire that ruled from 605-562 B.C.  His experiences with Yahweh are written down by Daniel the prophet.  Through these  experiences,  Nebuchadnezzar  learned  that  God is sovereign.

The king’s pride had puffed him up.  He was the absolute   ruler   of  an  incredibly   rich   empire.   His city Babylon was itself a wonder of the  world.  But the source of all of those earthly blessings was lost upon him.  He did not acknowledge who had enabled him to acquire untold wealth and power as the “head of gold” of the Babylonian Empire.

Nebuchadnezzar actually thought that he had on his own strength gotten all the power and riches.  “Is not this great Babylon; that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty,” he boasted one year after being warned in a dream that he would go insane and become beast-like for seven years.  This warning was “to the intent that the living may know that the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever he will, and sets up over it the basest of men.”  Daniel 4:17, 30.

God had given him warning in a dream and the dream came to pass.  Nebuchadnezzar was smitten with insanity for seven years.  And at the end of the seven years of living like a beast out in the courtyard, he began to sing a different tune.  “I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?” Daniel 4:34-37.

Here was the most powerful man on earth exclaiming that God is sovereign and that we earth-dwellers better realize that He rules right here on earth.  He found out the hard way.    Kenneth Wayne Hancock (from the book The Unveiling of the Sons of God which you can find at the top of this page.  Just click “Ebook…”]

Husbands, Be Not Bitter Against Your Wives–Conversations With the Seer

(Formerly in Israel, if a man went to inquire of God, he would say, “Come, let us go to the seer,” because the prophet of today used to be called a Seer.  I Samuel 9: 9)

I barely had enough time to sit down, and before I had spoken a word, the Seer asked, “Troubles with the wife?”

“Yes.  How did you know?”

“The Spirit, if your heart is attuned, picks up on these things.  It’s really not difficult to discern because ‘all things come alike to all.’  We all come up the same way” [1].

“My wife is always bringing me down.  It’s frustrating.  I’ll get a wonderful revelation about God, and I am so enthused, and I try to share it with her, and all she has to say is, ‘Yeah, that’s great, but would you help me, please?  Could you do something around here?  Help straighten up the house.   Check on the kids.’   Things like that.”

The Seer just looked at me as if looking through a window at the wind blowing through a white oak tree.  “We on our spiritual walk back to the Father’s heart must not get too heavenly minded to be of any earthly good.”

I looked at him as if he were speaking Chinese.  “What?  What do you mean?”

“It is all about taking the heavenly things like love and mercy, and putting them into action here on earth.  Christ did it and then taught it” [2].

“She makes me mad,” I continued.  “It’s like she deliberately throws on me all this negativity, like a wet blanket.  Instead of rejoicing with me, she just smothers me.  I try to correct her and get her to stop, but that just sets her off and we start fussing and fighting.”

“Oh, you mustn’t try to stop her,” the Seer said.  “Goodness, no.  Never try to prevent someone from doing God’s will.”

“God’s will?”  I asked.  “A wife so earthly minded that she can’t get past the pots and pans and diapers is doing God’s will?”

“They are your pots and pans and your children’s clothes.  Let me explain what is spiritually happening.  God Himself has created your wife exactly the way she is in every respect.  He has made her to be your absolute complement.  She, with all her faults and all her many unappreciated virtues , is exactly what the Great Physician ordered–for you and your perfection.”

“My perfection?” I asked.

“She’s your help meet, isn’t she?” [3].

“Yes.”

“Well, then, she is being a good help meet because she’s helping you meet God.  Look.  She is merely speaking what is in the script written by God–as if He had with a thoughtful quill inked upon her DNA the lines she speaks to help you mature spiritually.  And her reactions to you and her ‘negative’ comments to you about your ways are all ordained, scribed, and orchestrated by God to get a rise out of you.”

“It does that,” I said.  “But she should be honoring her husband and not putting him down all the time.”

“You don’t need a wife that praises your every word or whim.  That would not bring you to perfection.  In fact, it would ruin you for God’s purposes.”

“I still don’t get it.”

“You see,” the Seer continued, “You have many faults that must be purged out of your life before full spiritual maturity comes.  God uses wives to help us grow from a babe in Christ to a young man.  A ‘woman shall be saved in child bearing’ [4].  She not only rears your earthly children, but also helps to rear the spiritual child of God in her life–you, her husband.  She cannot change the way she has been created.  She is saying exactly what the Father has entrusted her to say to you.”

“It just makes me mad,” I said.

“There.  Right there in that thought–that unjust anger is an example of the kind of things that God desires to erase out of your life.  And your wife will continue to bring it out–not to be mean, as you suppose.  She has to.  She doesn’t even realize that God is using her for the purpose of burning out the dross that lurks around your new faith.  Yet, she will continue saying her lines as a faithful player on the stage of life–until you get it.”

“Get what?” I asked, still not understanding the depth of the matter.

“When you finally understand these words I’ve spoken and believed them–then you will have gained several precious life lessons.  Number one.  That God is totally sovereign and in complete control.  He uses anyone and anything He desires to effect a change in one of His chosen ones–one of His elect sons of God.  Two.  God’s ways are not our ways.  We would not perfect us the way He does.  We would much rather sit in the sunshine munching Oreos as the way to make big changes in our life.  Third.  We need to be grateful for God’s love to us.  He has chosen us as His offspring.  He did not have to pick us to reveal Himself in us.  So, just be grateful for your wife and don’t be bitter towards her [5].  God is using her to do a great work in you.”

“It doesn’t seem so great right now,” I said.

“When you receive this truth that I’ve shared with you, you won’t get angry and frustrated with her.  You’ll know the truth that it is all God’s doing, flowing out from His heart of love.  Right now you are buffeted for your own faults [6].  What will you do when you are persecuted unjustly?”

“I don’t know.”

“When it happens, just know that it is still God doing His work of perfection in you.”  The Seer paused.  “But, enough of this now.  Tell me.  What is you wife’s favorite candy bar?”

“Almond Hershey.”

“Tell you what.  Go buy her one.  And with no fanfare, hand it to her and tell her that you love her.”

I did what He said.  And that little gesture generated a smile on her face that said, “He understands.”  But all I understood that day was the magic of chocolate.  She would receive several Almond Hersheys throughout the years.  But it would take decades for me to finally understand and appreciate the message he gave me that day.       Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Manifested Sons of God Dig Deep and Lay Foundation on the Rock

The sons and daughters of God will grow up spiritually.  They will have “overcome the wicked one” and all his tricks.  Their eye will be single, seeing  only the eternal purpose of their Father and His desire to reproduce Himself through “Christ in us.”

They are “born from above,” of “that incorruptible seed, the word of God.”  They will [dig] deep and [lay] the foundation on a rock,” so that when persecution, harassment, troubles, and others’ unbelief come against them, they will remain unshaken (1).

The depth of their search for truth and their commitment to do what the truth commands–this is what distinguishes them from those who “also ran.”  They not only hear Christ’s sayings, but do them.  This is laying the foundation on the Rock and not the sand.

Concerning the way of truth,  Christ said, “Few there be that find it” (2).  But He also said, “For many be called, but few chosen” (3).  So that opens the door for you and I.

So these elect for these last days will “go deep” and fully answer the call, making their “election sure”.  They will do this by adding virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and agape love to their faith.  This is how they will become “partakers of the divine nature” (4).

In their spiritual journey, they will receive a new heart that contains the Spirit of God.  They will be led by the Spirit, which is a prerequisite of being one of His elect (5).

It’s All About What He Wants

God has an eternal purpose in reproducing Himself, and these chosen ones are at the very core of it.  All of us professing Christians need to put our own personal aspirations and dreams for our lives into perspective.  We need to see things from the King’s point of view.  See what His priorities are, see what He wants done, see what He desires for His creation, and then, put Him and His vision first.

You Would Do This for a New Boss

To be a valuable employee at your new job, would not you be wise to learn what your boss is trying to accomplish and then, keeping that purpose in mind, spend your work day diligently endeavoring to help him do it?

So it is with God and His purpose.  I am trying to get the word out about God’s purpose in “bringing many sons unto glory” (Hebrews 2: 10).  This is what this blog is about–to raise awareness as to what the scriptures say is in God’s heart and what His purpose for us is.

I do not have personal designs on being one of the manifested sons who will walk in 100 fold glory as seen in Revelation 14.  I will be quite content to be used to teach them and nurture them, helping them to grow up into Him.  Everyone must be taught.

The apostle Paul, in fact, laments that there are not more teachers of the truth.  “For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God…” (Heb. 5:12).

I do not know how old the sons and daughters are.  They could be 20, 30, 40, or 60 years old at present.  They may be 10 or 12 years old right now.  But one thing I do know.  We who have this knowledge must, by His Spirit, publish it for them and help them grow up spiritually to become what God wants them to be.

All Christians from all walks of life need to be working with this purpose in mind: to be of service to the King and His desires.  If we do this, He will be pleased and will help us help Him accomplish it all.  Kenneth Wayne Hancock

The Sons of God–What They Are and Are Not

The sons and daughters of God are not just once a week church-pew-occupiers.  They are the offspring of the King of the Universe.  That makes them princes and princesses in the Court of the Creator.  They are not lukewarm Christians who seldom if ever study His word or pray.

They are not just the tag “Christian,” to distinguish themselves from a Muslim or Hindu.  They are “born from above.”  Their origin is from a special heavenly realm, and they know it.

They know that their lives have been touched and changed by the mighty hand of God.  They are not doubtful and fearing, but rather confident in God.  They are not “tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine.”  Their soul is anchored in Him.

They live their life as if God really does see them and their actions.  For they know that their actions have their source in Him because “it is no longer [them] that lives, but Christ that lives in [them]” (1).  They are no longer merely “holding a form of godliness, but denying the power” (2).  For they know that “God has not given [them] the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (3).

They Know that God Is Leading Them

They know that all along life’s journey, God is leading them on a definite spiritual path of growth, whose end product is that they “all come to the unity of the faith…unto a perfect man..till Christ be formed in [them]” (4).

They sense that God is guiding them, though He stays hidden in the background, unobtrusive, never loud and pushy, always quietly pulling the strings of their hearts, touching them, tenderizing them, steering them into yet another way-station where they might rest from the rigors of their spiritual sojourn.

He is invisible there, helping their faith, stretching them, trying them, proving them, seeing if they are made of the right stuff needed to become a ruler in His kingdom.

They will come to realize all this.  This high calling will dawn on them, as the “day star [arises] in their hearts.”  This is when they will cease to be “babes in Christ” and begin to grow up into Him.  God’s vision for His earth will crystallize  for them and they will be changed into His image at the end of this age.      Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Where Do the Manifested Sons of God Come From?

They are born of humble origins and inauspicious beginnings; they start as any other sinful human being.  The vast majority will not come from the powerful elite class, for “not many mighty, not many noble are called” (1).  God is rather choosing out the weak of this world, ones who have little power or influence.  He does this so that when He reveals Himself in these chosen ones, they’ll know it is Him and not them doing the greater works.

Called to Transcend

They will have been called by their heavenly Father to transcend merely dwelling on temporary earthly delights for themselves.

During their initial selfish sashay upon earth, they will eventually see that enough is enough.  For how many women must one man bed until he finally realizes that sex without the heavenly component of love is senseless, fruitless, and meaningless.  And how many men must one woman lay with before she sees the futility of her physical submission.

Awaking Out of the Mud

The future offspring of God will awake one day and try to wash up from the mud-caked sin that smears their inner spirit.  They will hear the LORD cry, “Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your doings from before my eyes” (2).  They will at once want to change, to clean up, to attire themselves in clothes not meant to attract another’s attention, but just to modestly cover the shame of their nakedness.

They will want to change, but they will not know how exactly.  They will try to change themselves for themselves, but they will see that doing things for your self is just that same sly selfishness dolled up for another run.

They will finally see that they can’t change themselves–for themselves.  They’ll see that as long as their old self is still there, it will selfishly devote its life for self-aggrandizement.  That is all the old nature can do.

Don’t “Become a Better You”!

The world is full of people trying to become better.  They are encouraged by feel-good false teachers to do so.  But the sons and daughters of God will see through this.  They’ll realize that the “You” in Become a Better You! has got to go.  The “You” must willingly surrender its sovereignty over its body.  The “You” must not be re-directed or “made better.”  God commands that the old “You” repent, by dying on the cross with Christ.

It’s a tough sentence–this self-imposed crucifixion.  But the future sons and daughters of the Creator will become desperate enough to just believe what the scriptures of truth say.  They will surrender their old selfish existence up to God.  They will abdicate themselves as sovereign of their own life.  They will present their bodies back to God to allow His Spirit reign in them.

Life Out of Death

True life out of death.  Since God’s Spirit will not dwell in unclean temples (bodies), our old selfish heart must go.  And the only way to get rid of it is on the cross.  Through belief in His resurrection, the Spirit enters our hearts after we are immersed in His death (3).

At first hearing this, many will draw back.  This is why the Master said, “Few there be to find this way of truth.”  For “many are called, but few are chosen” (4).

After the surrender, the Spirit grows up in a person.  Lessons are learned; small battles with the adversary are fought and won; “senses are exercised to discern both good and evil.”  Fiery trials of their belief in Him come and go, lending their purifying qualities to the gold-like faith they are walking in.

Their knowledge increases about His government (kingdom), and they continue growing “up into Him” until eventually “Christ be formed in you” (5).

The manifested sons of God are destined to emerge in these latter days.  It is the crowning event of our age.  The casting call is going out.  The sons and daughters of God will be the stars of the show, and God will choose all unknowns for these roles.  The question still is, Are we one of them?           Kenneth Wayne Hancock

The Rise of the Sons and Daughters of God–The Last Shall Be First, and the First Shall Be Last

During the destruction of the Satanic One World Government coming soon to this earth, God shall debut His crowning creation–His sons and daughters (See “Time of the End…” posted June 13, 2009).

The prophets of old and all the apostles spoke of their time, which now is our time in the earth.  They are the fulfillment of God’s eternal purpose in reproducing Himself in the laboratory called earth.  They saw into our time, when God would bestow immortality to a select few (1).

Seeing into the Future

They saw into the future and saw the chosen ones destined for completeness in Christ, perfected because of His Spirit dwelling fully in them.  The apostle Paul said that, aware of it or not, the entire created realm here on earth is “waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God” (2).  The world is groaning for heroes to arrive on the scene.  You can see it in popular culture, books, and movies.  We all want someone to look up to, to lead us out of the political confusion and economic morass we find ourselves in.

All the prophets and apostles saw our day, saw our era when our Father would end the evil reign of our adversay and usher in the return of the King Jesus (Yahshua) along with the princes and princesses of God.  For we must remember that He has promised us that we will sit on thrones as judges in His kingdom.  The overcomers “will sit with Him on His throne” (3).

These overcomers will stride forth, rising like a phoenix out of the ashes of what is left after the Great Tribulation and bring glad tidings of real peace to the remaining inhabitants of the earth after tribulation.

“The Last Shall Be First” and “The First Shall Be Last”

God has saved the best for last.  “The first shall be last,” said the Master.  And these sons and daughters are the first who were in the Father’s heart before the worlds were ever created.  They were in His heart before the Play ever started here on earth and are the end product of His plan to reproduce Himself.  They will come forth during the last act of The Play.  Their entrance onto the world stage has been reserved for our present time–the “last” days.  These also will be the first to “not taste of death”–mortal death.  For their bodies will be changed “in a twinkling of an eye, at the last trump” (4).

And “the last shall be first.”  These glorious offspring of God will be the last on the present scene here on earth.  They will come forth during our present era of time.  They shall be the first to “not taste of death.”  They’ll be the first to be fully manifested, fully matured with the Spirit of God dwelling in them in its fullness.

We now must all pull together to nurture each other, for who knows?  Your brother or sister in Christ just may be one of these future princes or princesses of God.  I should be our goal in life to be yoke-fellows with Christ to help implement God’s plan in the earth.  For these sons and daughters of God will be called out of their present sinful condition, and thr0ugh many growing pains, they shall walk with Him in white.

Grace and Faith and the Manifestation of the Sons of God

The Eternal Spirit (Yahweh) chooses out certain individuals to reveal Himself to, and they, in turn, become a witness for Him.  He chooses them out through no merit of their own.  There is nothing they can do before the fact to warrant His election of them.  They have already been selected before they ever came out of their mother’s womb.

It is not to the strong or swift in this world.  He elects or chooses, in fact, those who are weak in this world’s eyes.  In other words, when He was choosing out His disciples, He did not choose the emperor Caesar, the Roman governor, or the Jewish High Priest.  He chose out lowly, “uneducated” fishermen from Galilee.

God Does the Choosing (Electing)

He does the choosing; we don’t.  “You have not chosen me,  but  I  have  chosen  you  and  ordained  you  that you should go and bring forth fruit,” said the Savior.

So He chooses out certain people in the earth to reveal His plan and Himself to.  He “favors” these people by revealing Himself to them.  He gives grace unto them—spiritual gifts.  He deals with them and shows them of Himself.  Without this favor, they are nothing.  Without His favor (grace) they remain the walking dead.  Without Him favoring them by showing them His plan, they would remain lost in the daze and maze of this world system.  Without His grace, gifts, and favor man remains in the guilt and depravity and bondage of his sinful carnal nature—remaining there in that prison until the light of day deliver him—by His grace or favor.

How do we find this favor, this grace?  It is to be found in the Savior, who was “full of grace and truth” (John 1:14).  “Grace and truth” came by Him.  Knowing who the Savior really is and what He accomplished for His people is the key in understanding His favor.  But the kicker is that one can’t comprehend His favor unless He has given that person favor.  One has to have His favor in order to eventually comprehend it.

Predestination

Some human beings are “predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son.”  These are the “greatly favored” ones.  They have a singularly marvelous calling, a magnificent fate in Him.  And yet, all of us who are called and chosen share in God’s favor.  For the “manifestation of the sons of God” is the final harvest of the Tree of Righteousness that Yahweh the Husbandman has planted some 6,000 years ago.  When the 144,000 sons of the living God stride forth in their resplendent immortal glory, they will be the final harvest that all of the prophets, patriarchs, apostles, and us have sowed toward for all these millennia.  We all have shared in and have been blessed by Yahweh’s incomprehensible favor or grace.

For  He  is  the Potter, and He makes the human vessel the way He wants to.  And to be created a vessel unto honor—for Him to mold us, a mere piece of clay, into something that could hold the living spiritual water that is His essence—is humbling, yet thrilling.

The Savior was “full of grace (favor, gifts) and truth.”  Our favor is found in and emanates from the Savior.  For “grace and truth” came by Him.  It is a favor, a gift, a benefit, a grace from Him that our sins could be blotted out, that we could have “no more remembrance” of past sins.  “Your sins and your iniquities I will remember no more,” He said.  “And I will write my laws upon your heart.” That is a promise and a favor unto us.  Deliverance from darkness is a gift, a grace, a favor from Him to us.

We Were with God in the Beginning*

{Order your free copy of The Unveiling of the Sons of God or my new book The Royal Destiny of God’s Elect. It is totally free with free shipping to my readers. Just send your mailing address to my email address: wayneman5@hotmail.com   Specify which one.}

When we partake of His Spirit, we are drinking into what we had with Him in the beginning.

His Spirit in us transforms us day by day into what we were when we were with Him back then.  We are restored by faith, back to that relationship we had with Him before the worlds were ever formed.  Before the earth was ever made, before the seven day creation week, before the sabbath day was instituted–we, His children were there with him in spirit.

For what are we really without Him?  Our bodies without His presence within are so much earth and dust.  When we receive a portion of His Spirit, we receive into these earthly shells a spark of the divine One.

He who was from the beginning now takes up His abode in our earthly bodies, and the only “I” now is His Anointed One (Christ) in us.  For after our own cross experience with Him, it is no longer the old  selfish “I” that lives, “but it is Christ that lives in me.”

As we continue to walk this way, we can pray as Christ prayed, “Father, glorify me with the glory I had with You before the world ever began” (John 17:5).

We Must Go Back

But we must go back, back, back into time–before the temporal, before the temporary shackles of our earthen bodies, before the clamor of the flesh’s demands and desires, before the worlds were ever slung into their ethereal pinnings–when we sat around with our Father, rejoicing with Him about the beauty of His plan, “when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy” (Job 38: 7).

We must go back there, before Satan was ever commissioned by the Father to be the “accuser of the brethren.”   Before Satan became the prince and power of the air, sent down to try us and force us ultimately back to our Father for deliverance.

For we have all strayed like sheep away from our Shepherd.  We have strayed from the spiritual pastures we had with Him before He created the pastures of earth.

When we return and let Him gather us and restore us back into His heavenly-minded fold, then we will know what it means to have “our conversation in heaven.”

Passing the Test

When we walk in this truth–that we were with Him in the beginning–then we have passed the test–the test to see if we will believe the lie that we are only animal and not children of God, or believe the truth that we are only temporarily in a mortal state before our change to immortality comes.

This is the crux of the matter.  When we are stripped of everything and reduced to our lowest state, do we believe that we are His spiritual children, with all the rights and responsibilities or do we believe the lie?

For this lie must be refuted by our walk on earth.  Others must see “our good works and glorify the Father.”  They will see that, yes, there is a God, for only God can shine the light of joy and love through a person like that.               Kenneth Wayne Hancock

Not Many Mighty, Not Many Noble Are Called

This world system, Babylon the Great, is sick and evil.  Let’s call a spade a spade.  The vision put forth in the Holy Bible lines out the fall and demise of Satan’s kingdom–our present, corrupt world system.  It then is replaced with the Kingdom of God, headed by the King Himself, Jesus (Yahshua in Hebrew).

Before the world system falls and before Christ comes back to set up His Kingdom and 1,000 year Reign, there will be great move of God.  He has always come down, literally to this earth and visited somone and called them out to deliver His people.

He did not use mega-church pastors that preach “get all that you can get from God” or “Be a better you!”  No.  He chose out, as the apostle Paul said, people who knew they were weak and God was strong–people who were in awe of Him and His righteousness and glory.  “Not many mighty are called, not many noble” (I Cor. 1- 26).  He gives grace to the humble.  He will reveal Himself to those that are in awe of Him.

“That which has been is now…The things that happened to the tribes of Israel are written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the world are come…”  We read the Old Testament stories to see how God will work in our day.  “Past is prologue…”  “God requires the past…”

Take Gideon in the book of Judges.  Here was a young man, the youngest son in his family.  Yahweh appeared unto him and spoke to him and told him that God would deliver His people who were enslaved by the Midianites.  He addressed Gideon, “Thou mighty man of valour.”  While almost all of Israel worshiped Baal in the groves, he remained faithful, and then Yahweh appeared to him.  And the “army” that God allowed for the deliverance were 300 of His own choosing, not the 32,000 initial volunteers.  It was a small group doing it God’s way, which is not how man imagines God to work.  To see it today, just turn on religious programs; they are full of preachers and how they imagine God will work in our day.

Take David as a young boy.  He was zealous for Yahweh when no one else believed that they could defeat the Philistines.  He alone of all the armies of God’s people believed that Yahweh would deliver them.  And did He ever.  Later God would commune with David and called him to be king over His people.

Serious followers in this Way should pray for a move from God and prepare ourselves by worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth.  Just being a sensitive spiritual type person is not enough.  We must have the truth.  We must know Him, “as the scriptures has said”–not the tainted knowledge of some mega-evangelist who imagines God wants a new you.  God wants the sinful heart to die on the cross with Christ bringing repentance from sin and become a totally  new creation in Christ, where it is no longer you that lives, but Christ that lives in you.    For more on these things check out my books found here:

“Who Is This Son of Man?”

“Who is this Son of man?” the people asked Christ.

His response was curious at first glance.  “Walk while you have the light…Believe in the light that you may be the children of light.” He is saying that the Son of man is the Light, and if we believe in Him, then we can be the children of light (John 12: 34-36).

We understand the phrase “Son of God,” for we see Him walking on water, raising the dead, healing the sick, and doing the mighty works of God. God’s Son will do what the Father does. But “Son of man”? Does it mean the same as “Son of God”? Why both?

A son is by definition the male offspring of human beings. But we are not talking about just any son here; we are talking about the glorified offspring of mankind—not just a male offspring of natural sinful man, but a glorified male offspring. It is a man who has traveled and matured completely in the life cycle God has made for man.

“Man is the glory of God.” That is the purpose. Man is to be converted from his fallen state and restored to the original calling God has for him—to be the temple that holds the shekinah glory of God. This entity—God-fully-manifested-in-human-form—is the Son, the Son of God, yes, for He is God’s offspring, but He also is the Son of man, for He sprang forth from just being a mortal man to being an immortal man—full of the presence of the Spirit of his Creator, living in an immortal spiritual body by the resurrection of the dead (I Cor. 15: 42-49; II Cor. 5: 1-5).

And this is where He wants to take us! To be just like Him, the Son of man, the Light. That is the true calling and life cycle of a few chosen ones called “the elect” by the prophets and apostles. They are the ones who will journey at God’s bequest to make the full circle from His throne room to the destitution of earthly flesh, and back to the throne, where they will sit with Him, restored to their rightful seat with Him. “Thou turnest man to destruction and then say, Return.”

These elect will make the round trip back to Him. They will be accounted worthy to walk with Him in white and will be of one mind and one accord with their Savior and Maker. In fact, they will be accounted by God as actually a part of His body; they are His body. They are a part of the “Son” and will be called as well, the “Son of man,” for they will have made the journey of maturity, growing up into Him—God in human form.

This is what His eternal purpose is all about. This is the vision for the wrap up, for the end time. They are God’s battle axe, the apple of His eye. They are His crowning creation, the “kings” with a little “k” of the phrase, “The King of kings.” They are the ones, and yet, they are one with Him. For there is one God and one body of that great Deity, and they are the limbs, and the Pattern Son, Yahshua of Nazareth, is the head of that great body, called by His prophets, God’s temple.

That is the Son of man. He is the Light, and they are the “light” as well after they receive and retain the fullness of His Spirit in their spiritual bodies. The sons and daughters of man will comprise the spiritual body of the Son of man. They are one and yet many—many men and women who have grown up into spiritual maturity and have left their human fleshly prison for the greater dimension of the kingdom of heaven. These elect will know what I’m talking about, for it will quicken in their spirit.
